The multiband is one of my favorite features of, in my case, the FM3. Vital block for palm muting and taming low end for a mix.

multiband compression is great for taming some higher frequency stuff on single coil guitars. I love my EFMM Cutlass but sometimes i can make it bark a little too much. a nice lil multiband taming the high end does wonders!
