So with this redarc battery charger do you need the battery isolator anymore?
The redarc has the battery isolator built in. So really all you need is the Redarc and then a 40 amp fuse, and you are ready to roll.
I have the GW isolator kit and a 100ah agm battery. Would my alternator not charge this battery while driving? I know it takes a while but would the redarc improve this?
The Redarc is a charger that has the correct profile for charging storage batteries. It will make the battery last. The alternator is made to charge a starting battery which is a different type of charge. It will charge your AGM but the life of the battery will be much shorter.
What's the benefit over a lead acid?. It appears to be the same size as my 50ah agm.
Watch the other videos about these batteries I have on the channel. This is discussed at length. The short answer is the lithium is better is every way except price.
