Figured UA-cams auto feature would work just fine but it failed us and flagged comments for no reason while letting others slip trough.

yea that should have been a wipe 100%, but petri flask are in the game and thats why the rules set by the only HC raiding guild is dumb af, the fact 3 people died when every one had 2 petri flask just goes to show how smart the "HC" community really is, You can have an instant safety net on any mistake at level 60 but i cant do Scarlet monastery twice with group of stoners?

The rules are simple. Death = Delete. Use every tool you have to not die.
The specific problem with Bubble Hearth is that it's a class specific tool equivalent to other class specific tools like Reincarnation or Soulstone, which is why they wanted to limit it.
@@Destaice reincarnation and soulstone both require you to actually die, dumbass. They have nothing to do with bubble hearth. "Use every tool you have not to die" except bubble hearth, which is retarded when you allow unlimited free passes from mistakes through petri drop group.
Nothing says "Classic Hardcore is a challenge" like 40 raiders using petrification flasks.

I was watching this and was one, oh wow, we going to get a wipe in a raid?
Then literally 37 people popped a flask of petrification and survived through getting kicked out of the dungeon. That's probably my biggest gripe with the current hardcore rules, it feels really gamey. . . and the people who run the addon just laugh at you for complaining about it.
Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for the people who made the hardcore addon, I been begging for a hardcore mode in WoW since 2005 and the effort the addon team did and the community is what got us a hardcore mode for WoW . . but that doesn't mean I can't criticize anything about said team.
The way you say it, it sounds like you're saying that you were really hoping to see a raid wipe and the reason it bums you out is because it didn't happen. Maybe the game would be better without petris and maybe it wouldn't, but whatever happens, it damn sure shouldn't be to appease people whose main draw to hardcore is just watching other people die.

It's that a lot of the risk is in hardcore raiding alleviated by using a petri.

@@skylas7131 Mage portals last a minute and can't be cast in combat. So they wouldn't be abusable on bosses which take more than 1 min to kill. Unlike that petri flask which is "CAN'T DIE, ALWAYS SAFE, HARDCORE btw"

I have never seen a less organized MC. The second something went weird everyone ran into different places pulling more and more mobs worsening the entire problem. Petri needs to go so people actually face the repercussions of their horrible awareness in raids. Totally devalues the achievement when everyone has a Bubble Hearth.

The addon people say the addon is only for leveling and they don't care what you do at 60.

Depends on the class. As a druid it's easy but takes forever. You need to clear the way, then you can kite the cat along the road with hibernate or roots. The companion doesn't come, and if you drag extra cats you have 2 x cc. But use caster gear even if feral

it is weird to me how none of the hc mages seem to know how to aoe mobs, or lack the talent points for it. sure it is probably too risky to do while leveling but it would definetly be handy to get out of big pulls
Even if you aren’t talented into imp blizzard, (which is reasonable on hc) you still have nova and coc and cold snap. If you’re so concerned about threat you can just downrank so it doesn’t rip.
It’s a shame more people don’t think of kiting as it is one of the most op things you can do. 100% damage reduction is strong
petri is the the worst thing to happen to HC content, no question.
I find it so funny how mad people get about the petri flask strat. WoW was never intended for Hardcore, you will always find methods or strategies to "cheat" death. And Blizzard wont change anything, there will be bubble hearth and petri for sure.

This is why you have your petri on one keybind then make a separate macro that will

@@dactyhc7128 damn rough mistake to learn from at that lvl. I made that mistake on a pally back in tbc with bubble. When panic sets in, it's really easy to spam a keybind. Since then I made a separate macro with the /cancelaura in it.

Petri is a literal get-out-of-jail free card, and the "appeal" of hardcore is exactly that there are *not* any get out of jail free cards. Vanish can break, FD can resist, bubble hearth is banned (for some stupid reason), but petri and drop group is just too overpowered, and abusing game mechanics.
Its level 60 afforded pleasure. Like a reward.

I asked, out of curiousity, why petri+drop group is allowed, but light of elune hearth isnt, since light of elune is harder to get. I never got a response, just cringe memes about how new players are asking about the petri rule.
A month or so later, I decided to ask again, and the response was "well level 60 guilds have popped up and they're allowed to use their own rules so just play with them" while never getting an actual answer.
The silence speaks volumes, they know it's pathetic, they know it looks bad, they know it's gamey, but they refuse to even talk about it.
I hope blizzard bans petri flasks so I can see all the "hardcore" tears.

Most of you seem to forget that the playstyle in HC end game is what it is because petri is an option. I am also against it, but I believe the option is far worse. If petri wasn't allowed you'd just see mage portals put up before every pull and raids/dungeon groups killing every single trash pack. I bet NA wouldn't skip all those packs in MC and risk a wipe if there was no fail safe in place. That DMT group could've just HS'ed after pulling the guard as they could jump down from the balcony in trap room and have 20 seconds before mobs came.

Usually picking them based on unique quality, I want to pick something fresh for each episode.
If it is a common scenario or death + low level it most likely won't make it in the episode.
Whenever I see someone who clicks buttons on interface that they already bound to a hotkey, and they die, I smile. What a bunch of bad plays here...
