@@NathanKCutler I haven't got the chance to use them yet, but they are very cool. The bivvy light is a plus i just need a bivvy now lol. I've had a set of Delkims for the past 15 or more years just trying something new.

The SKS is based off of a stencil alarm body...
The Prologic SMX and the Carp Zoom Sixth Sense have nearly identical body styles. I think a comparison of these three alarms would be very interesting, to determine where, if any, differences lie.

I have just purchased these alarms and cannot get the batteries into the compartment. This is on all three alarms. I have asked other people to try and no luck. There is about a 2mm overhang.
These are the standard AAA batteries.
When inserting the batteries I can feel the contacts depress slightly , so installing correctly. How did you find insalling the batteries
Hmm thats strange. I wonder if its a new manufacturing flaw. I havent had that issue on my old sks alarms.
The hirisi s3 alarms I have which are very similar to the new alarms by sonik do have a very tight battery compartment.

Sonik states 200 yards for the receiver signal. I don’t stray that far from my rods. Farthest I’ve been is about 50 yards and it’s worked fine. 👌

Hey Jack, you would have to purchase additional snag ears that would fit over the threads at the base. 👍
I got snag ears for mine. Fox all black snag ears fit perfectly
