- As a keen fisherman i love my fishing gear so want to make sure iam getting a good buy for my money as usually on a budget so obviously need to be careful when buying cheaper, so as i buy new fishing tackle ill add a small independent review from myself with my opinion of how the item feels and performs
in this my 1st video we have the korum kbi r bite alarms i bought for personal use
At the time of this video was made i had not used so this is just a basic unboxing as i get it

on offer now at the enemy AD. For the dough im buying some now. be here tomorrow ill be out in next 2 days ill give you a barbel anglers review. i know the range isnt to clever but i dont leave my gear. i like to watch the rod tip with a clip on starlight but ill get some at the price on get on the ribble. if they are crap ill let ya know.
i hope they serve you well even tho i did a 2nd review a few months after buying as mine let me down ...not trying to discourage you as ive heard mixed reviews on them some love them some dont ....i look forward to hearing how you get on with them

My personal set, the reciever wouldn't pair with alarms after my 1st outing and i found the alarms didnt respond to well in heavy rain ... ive heard by others that this is not that common but i ended up buying the sonic sks alarms shortly after
In my honest opinion i would buy something in the mid price range like the sonic sks or fox microns for not much more than the korums

Decent unboxing review! Have you any updates on what they're actually like on the bank? Thinking about buying these but a friend said he had these freeze after a damp and cold session. Don't have the budget for a hight end set just trying to work out the best ones for around £60
thank you ...i do have another video 4 months on and i must say that after my first trip out the receiver would not pair up again with alarms ... also after heavy rain it affected them in such a way that i could not hear the alarms when going off so i ended up missing bites .....i recently bought the sonik sks alarms to replace to the korums unfortunately

in light rain they were ok but in heavy prolonged rain they let me down

My mate lost a big barbel because of these alarms.
The fish screamed off on the baitrunner, he lifted rod off pod/ alarms and the line had wrapped around roller and snapped off!!...do not buy these!! Cheap and nasty leaving a barbel swimming around the taff with hook and line still attached to it.
ouch that had to hurt ... yes i fully agree with that statement bud and yes they are cheap and nasty
