- It's now pretty obvious that electric vehicles are the cars of the future. In the not-too-distant future, our streets will be exclusively lined with electric vehicles and the gas stations will be replaced by electric charging points.
Without a doubt, the EV market is expanding rapidly. A few years ago, electric cars were considered luxury items for the rich. But now, in 2023, that narrative is quickly changing.
Thanks to the growth of the EV market, there are now more electric cars on offer, with far more range than the previous editions, and perhaps more importantly, more affordable pricing.
Also, on the design end of things, the current crop of EVs now look more like regular cars, compared to their divisive hybrid and EV predecessors.
So, if you're on a budget and you're looking to jump on the EV bandwagon, this video is for you. In this video, we have made for you a list of the cheapest electric vehicles on the US market that you can buy.

You can get all these cars for half the price after four years lol I bought my 2017 Hyundai ioniq electric for 14k with only 60,000 miles💰
Liked the Chevy Bolt. Thinking about getting one now.
Did anyone notice some of these cars for America is showing UK cars driving from the wrong side.
Have been driving my Chevy Bolt for 3 years now. THE best car in my life, ever.
Are any of these vehicles designed to hold a roof rack? I would love to buy the Cheverlet bolt, but it has to be able to carry 2 Kayaks on top, otherwise I cant buy it.
You can put a roof rack on just about anything.
Wal Mart sells roof racks that clamp on, so they can be removed when not needed.
2 fat pool noodles to keep the kayaks off the paint and you can strap the kayaks on.
I’m not going to lie. I’ll get Chevy bolt! I liked the look on it.
Welcome to the Bolter club brother! :)))
Which ever manufacturer can deliver a $20 to 25K city car with around 200 mile range will end up gobbling up the market. Low margins but can make it up in volume. It may tske a Chinese company though.
Finally someone who makes sense. Heck even $30k a bargain right now tbh.
I saw none in my price range. Do feel the Bolt would suite me best. I like all self driving models. My Rogue self drives but have to have hands on. My Favorite Electric is the Atria & news is no more Orders available for now. All those rich consumers beat me at my favorite...lol
🐺"here are top 10 most affordable electric cars in 2022. . . for the first one, Ford Mustang Mach E for $42,895 and your left testicle' Ah yes, thank you
I wish I can buy the cheapest one someday
Sorry, but the terms "cheapest" and "$40,000+" don't belong in the same sentence.
You're right. But out of all the available electric cars in the US (except Nissan Ariya), these are the cheapest ones.
The mini is the only true cheap ev which is why i bought one
It's just annoying that Ford called their EV a Mustang for the clout.
259 miles the Chevy bolt is definitely the cheapest one.
TATA Nexon ev MAX has 260 miles for 25K USD
No such thing as a cheap electric vehicle unless it's miniature
These vehicles are too high priced for my blood.
