Looks like great times with your mom -- I can see where you get your energy and enthusiasm!!!! Interesting white spots on the film -- ignoring those, it's got some bold contrast, especially in snowy conditions!
These look awesome! I'm not one for those 'weird' films, but they work perfectly here. Also enjoyed your skiing bit, I've tried downhill, cross country and snow boarding, and honestly hated all of them (usually ended up injuring myself) so I'll stick with snow shoeing. Also, your mom is awesome!
Thanks Alex!! Haha I don’t blame you! Snowshoeing is something I’d probably injure myself doing but need to try someday, looks like fun tho! Haha she is!!
This film looks cool. If you like contrasty films did you ever shoot JCH Streetpan 400? I don’t ski myself but my kids go sometimes to Gunstock. We just went to this place in Franklin with a couple small trails that use rope lifts and t bars, so old school.
of course! I don't think film has to have a use case, anyone could use it anytime for anything, but for me and at the price it goes for, I'd want to use it in the best case which would be winter and snow scenes!! where are you based?

😒 hmmm not jealous at all about the snow... great video and vibes are on point... I think a collab next year where I come snowboarding for a whole year is in order more than anything. p.s your mom needs more airtime on the channel.
Nice photos but what are those white round marks like snow ? @7:07 - ua-cam.com/video/r1UkZLT20TI/v-deo.htmlsi=1TvH3sty-HhH8FEh moment 😂. Why is that Christmas tree still in the background ? Keep it going !
Haha that’s preexposed shots to look like snow! And it’s a seasonal tree 🌲 for the winter mood I keep around for awhile especially for Yt video backdrops 😋

lol yeah she’s a hoot 😎😊 yesss the contrast is also helped by the developer too!
Awesome pictures! This film looks so fun!
Thanks!! It was a load of fun and I need to plan another skiing outing to shoot more haha
With the major snow in Central Mass seeming to be past us now, I'll make a note of this film to pick it up in November. :)
For sure!! We might get more up here but I’m definitely stocking up for next year!

I have shot JCH! really enjoyed it :) Gunstock is a lot of fun but that old school places sounds awesome! do you remember the name of it?
Thanks for the review. Strikes me as a film desperately looking for a use case. Since we don't have snow where I am, perhaps not for me.

@@patternsinsand 😂 perhaps!
I'm definitely a winter animal. But this year the winter was so warm that the near by ski resort didn't open at all...
aw that's a bummer!! it has been a warmer winter here too, not as much snow as we usually get!

also to show you that skiing is for losers 😉
i'm kidding ... but seriously
nah you do you boo
but seriously
nahhhh im playing,
To make sure, I understand correctly: Did Revlog get these dots onto the film by exposing the film...?
I think so although I'm not 100% sure!

Thanks!
Both revolog and Lomography are Austria based.
Cool!
Big white globs obscuring people's faces and parts of the frame? Sounds exactly like what can happen when taking photos during a snow fall 😅
So the films true to life haha
