I would love to see his nose out and down more. I do the same exercise. Now I know what it’s called.

The horse is 30 degrees beyond the vertical. It should be 5 degrees in front of the vertical. You sawed him down the one time it took a correct position.

      What a lot of bullshit.
Horses can be trained with a lower neck and also behind the vertical.
Extremities as Rollkur are a different matter but this is a great excercise to make him supple.
If this particular horse would go out with his nose with a lower neck. His belly will go down. For sure it is our goal to do that but at this point of his training, this will help him way more.
Thats the thing with social media these days. ALL horses should be ridden like this or that… No that is not the case. It ls actually the beauty and difficulty of dressage that there are many roads leading to Rome

@@Begijnhoeve_official Overextending the neck drops the back and deactivates the hind quarters, loads the ligaments and joints instead of muscles, ruins horses at an early age. Dressage has an exactly opposite goal. Please educate yourself.

That is not true. And stop spreading Black & White nonsense.

@@Begijnhoeve_official when you are done trying to control what other people say (you will not succeed), maybe try to pick up a book. E.g. C. Krischke "You decide".
