Once again, you’ve got a video that’s saving my bacon!….. with the cost of living crisis and a work vehicle (2015 3.2 ranger) which feels like it’s on the verge of breaking down constantly… your advice and videos are honest to god getting me through potentially bad times. You saved me with advice and a video for reference 2 weeks ago, I changed the oil crank seal and dropped the oil pan to remove debris, luckily it was pretty clear.
Now yesterday I was getting really bad smoke temporarily which I think is going to be egr related…… and WHAM, you’ve got a video showing me how.
    ❤❤❤

Great video but unfortunately having to remove the AC hose puts this job out of reach of 99% of DIY people

I now understand why my dealer said this is expensive to replace on my ranger. Coolant leaking. Pressure tested coolant tank which tested ok. So they tell me coolant is leaking into egr valve which will now need replacing. Funny they want to take gearbox out to do it so very $$$$😮

Thanks mate. Well done! A bit more than meets the eye. There’s me thinking it was four star screws. Does the valve stick or seize “I wonder “?

They could have made this engine bay with some more room. I removed one and i caught my beep to get the bolt off .

Should be no reason to remove the air coolant compressor hose/pipe.
That just adds to cost of getting that refilled.
