I have a 2DR Bronco Outerbanks and I absolutely love it. I waited almost 2 years for it but it was well worth the wait. The ride is smooth and so fun to drive. Sometimes I do get a wave from other Bronco owners
I get waves from both Bronco and Jeep owners when I'm in my first Gens (68&69) Broncos. I think it's more of a respect thing and the love of old iron. As far as my New Bronco (23 2 dr Badlands), I haven't had it long enough to say. I did get a thumbs down from a guy driving an old CJ-5. LOL
The loops on either side of the hood also tell you where the inside edge of your tires are so you can judge while off roading if you keep stock tires and rims. Once you go aftermarket rims and tires meaning different offset and back spacing then they are just brush guards for your wind shield
Getting better! The more stripped down and utilitarian they come, the better! I don't need all the electronic "luxury" bells and whistles (such as seat warmers, cruise control, power this-and-that, carpeting, TV monitors, ride-softening suspension, etc.). Something I'm not afraid to take out into the sticks and put fishing rods, muddy shoes, etc. into. I'd just as soon not have to pay for all those extra things! A true utilitarian 4x4 like the originals is what I want to see! 💪 Build these and I am sure people will buy them.
I agree with you 100%. I just got the Big Bend last week, looks just like this one in the video, but it's stick shift. I wish they gave customers the option to just have a clean dashboard, no computer stuff, like 1966. Mine came with a GPS that they charged me $1400. I raised hell the next day and they removed it and reimbursed me. All the tech stuff is unnecessary.
I have 4-door and through spring took the front doors off. First time's awkward but it gets easy, one person job. Helps to have the door bags because they have handles all over, gives an easy way to hold the door while positioning it. Once in position, it'll stay on its own, while you install and tighten the bolts that hold the hinges together (two per door). PS: I always wave or nod to other Broncos, usually get some acknowledgement, probably thumbs-up is most common. PPS: Big Bend trim is cheapest way to get a rear locker ona bronco (be sure to select the option), but I have found the front camera to be a big deal, a critical safety feature on trails, and you have to upgrade to at least Outer Banks to get it.
Just got my Big Bend, white, manual last week. Driver side door is the perfect place for my 40 oz water bottle. Took the front roof off today for the first time; super easy. As a woman, I'm a little nervous about taking the back roof off by myself, but I'll look at some techniques online and try it.
Good review. We own both a Bronco and a Wangler and like them both. The Bronco is a smoother ride on the road because of the IFS. Both are two doors and we get a little better gas mileage with the Wrangler, and yes we do wave. 😎
Regarding gauges: All are available all the time! But of course that means scrolling through a long list. Driver can create a custom short list of at most 7 faves.
My two door big bend was just built, being delivered soon. Because of the lack of storage space inside, I am excited to use the loops on the hood to tie down cargo on the hood.
Looks a nice short vehicle. Would be a good view reversing a trailer? I used to tow a sailing dinghy, and appreciated a good clear view when backing up in the boat park.
Drives my lady crazy but, yes, I proudly wave to all Broncos and even the occasional Jeep! 22 4 dr Wildtrak, Lux, leather, black - ordered hour #2 … took delivery in March of 22 - 30k miles so far and loving it!!
I've had my Bronco for about a week, haven't waved at anyone yet. Didn't know that was a thing, but will give it a go tomorrow... don't see too many Broncos on the road though, here in Southern Cali.
Interesting review, thanks. Will there be more details on the Kawasaki motorcycle line up soon? Any new videos with your new owned Kawasaki 900SE classic style motorcycle? How do you like it so far?
I'm just waiting for the 2024 models to show up, but I'll absolutely have more motorcycle content coming soon. I also plan to have a number of videos on my personal bike in early August.
Up to date pricing is available on the link in the bio. This is a used car, prices could change overnight at anytime. If you're actually interested in buying the vehicle, feel free to check out the website.
Noted: but advice... If you don't like the way other people do videos, make your own. Each of us are out here doing our best, and while that phrase may bother you, it isn't something I'm likely to change. It is what it is. 🤷♂️
When I see people riding these Broncos I keep thinking I'm a proud Wrangler owner. You can tell a Jeep from miles away , this vehicle just blends in just like the rest of SUVs.
I remember I bought my 2016 Jeep brand new for $27,000 Canadian. The equivalent Jeep is basically $40,000 now and that still has crank up windows. These capable off roaders are definitely not cheap anymore.
You're probably going to have to be open to letting other people be themselves if you plan to keep watching UA-cam. It's awfully difficult to cater to the preferences of a worldwide audience! 🙂
@@PeterLoweOne I deserved that. Just had a nitpick moment. I saw the Bronco prototypes quite a bit around Dearborn Michigan. I remember running up right next to a white two door Sasquatch unit with no camouflage while driving my cherry 1996 Ford Aerostar. I so wanted it!! I would even consider trading in the Aerostar for one…😁
I have to agree. I own a Gladiator and had a Bronco badlands and the Jeep interior is of much higher quality. Tons of soft touch materials in the Jeep.

Thanks for sharing your experiences! It's a cool vehicle, for sure!

Maybe a little help from a neighbor lol. Kind of awkward but you sound like you will anyway lol. Have fun

I think the Jeep wave is really somebody waving you down for assistance while it is broken.
so true:(
My two door big bend was just built, being delivered soon. Because of the lack of storage space inside, I am excited to use the loops on the hood to tie down cargo on the hood.
Very well done as usual
Looks a nice short vehicle. Would be a good view reversing a trailer? I used to tow a sailing dinghy, and appreciated a good clear view when backing up in the boat park.
Yeah, and it turns very sharp. My Jeep Wrangler 2 door used to be really easy to back up with trailers. This would be similar.
Bronco owners in our area wave when we see each other, most days we don't see any.

@@PeterLoweOne Cool, thanks Peter!
What’re the largest ties that will fit on those 16” wheels ?
Thanks for the video! Also, you remind me of Prince William:)
I'm a Bronco owner in New York. We all just give each other the finger. But since everybody in New York does that anyway nobody notices.
Bronco owners do indeed wave to each other.
Nice! Thanks!
Ever heard of Prices?

Advice: Try not to say "It is what it is". Counted 4 times at least in this video.

Broncos are rare, people pay attention and love them where live. Jeeps are everywhere like Honda. No wow factor unless its the V8
Both are insanely overpriced. Mid-trims should be ~$30k.

"it is what it is" My most despised cliche'....Close second "it's all good"

Hi
Why are so many car videos producers Canadians? Lol every car thing I watch is in Canada. I kinda want both jeep and a bronco
Sorry? 🤣
This is competition for 4Runner or Land Rover. Jeep is in a class by itself.
Nonsense
Yes bronco owners do wave
I just want a new Suzuki Samurai
Oooh. Me too! Have you seen the (not for North America) Suzuki Jimny?
They are too expensive
These definitely aren't the Jeeps and Bronco's of the seventies and eighties!!
Ford shd be making a version of this for the SE asian market. Such a dumb company
Plastic garbage inside, sold my 2 door sasquatch last week.
What did you end up getting ?
It's probably impossible to get away from plastic garbage in any new vehicle today. unless maybe you're buying a tank.
You want a Rolls Royce pal?
I have to agree. I own a Gladiator and had a Bronco badlands and the Jeep interior is of much higher quality. Tons of soft touch materials in the Jeep.
Same. Had a bronco raptor and it felt so cheap inside. Never buying anything from Ford again this is ridiculous.
