I can attest to that drive to make something work as a career. For Ron, if not for myself. I was in one of his classes at U of T, where maybe he was sitting in, and Ron did speak up in class. I have no idea why he says he didn't do well in high-school. This would have been years after his high-school - he was bright in that English class and i noticed him. There's more to this story, for sure.
