My mother always made good yeast rolls to. I'll never forget that taste. She passed away in 1997, but I will always remember her good cooking. I came from the farm to. There was 12 of us in the family. 6 sisters & six brothers. We had a very hard life growing up . But with the blessings of God we made it. We had good home made cooking. Never once complained. Your cooking takes me back home.
Thank you for this video. My granddaughter was spending the weekend with me this weekend and we did the rolls following your video. They came out absolutely beautiful and so flavorful. My granddaughter thought they were restaurant quality. She’s only 11 and already has a taste for cooking and doing this homemade from the beginning to the end just gave her an appreciation even more so. Again thank you so much.
Especially in the winter, maybe it would be a good idea to turn the oven light on a long time before putting the dough in, so it can 'heat up' the oven.
Yum! I’ve never made homemade bread other than biscuits. I’ve always been intimidated by yeast. Those rolls look amazing! Going to have to try them out!
Me too! I cam cook except....Breadies. But I want to try my Grandmas HUGE delicious dinner rolls. They were a meal in them self. With real sweet cream butter! Somehow grandma didnt even really measure.. How??? But she did. And they were amazing.

I have been following you. The very first time I made the yeast Rolls with the cinnamon butter recipe. They were delicious. Now I'm trying the yeast roll recipe that you got from Ken. Waiting on the first rises. 2 more rises to go. Will comment on how they went.
Hi Leslie, rolls look great and I'm gonna be fixing them, but I know what you mean when you say you keep looking for that even better roll, I do the same thing, I don't fix rolls that often and my family loves the ones I fix, but for me, I keep searching. I've never used one of those scarfs around the neck before, they are pretty, when I'm in the kitchen cooking, I just throw a dish towel over my shoulder. Congrats Linda
These look less intimidating than others! I just might try them someday! By the way, how is it possible you look better now than when you started this channel??? I went back to the first one and you look younger and happier now, so I know God is blessing you! May He continue to! Hugs!
Its rainy, windy and our power is out. Yucky! Yeast rolls are one of our weaknesses i will definitelytry this recipe. I wish I could find the recipe for the yeast rolls we had in high school. They were AMAZING! Congrats Linda Green.

I don't know if you have an Instant Pot but if you do try those first two rises on the yogurt (low) setting and in less than 30 min. it will have more than doubled. In less than an hour I am now ready to shape the rolls.....having with steak (sous vide), pilaf and artichoke (also done in the Instant Pot at 80 yrs of age don't want to be in the kitchen all day. Hubby off to Gideon's this a.m. so time to get some things prepped.

Freeze them before the second rise, but after you've shaped them into balls. Freeze them on the pan. Once frozen, bag them up. When needed, just take out the amount of rolls you want and let sit out in warm place for about 3 hours then bake
@@TheFarmingPastorsWife Leslie I made them all 12 for me and my husband. They turned out OK but I didn't have a pan like yours i have one somewhere but couldn't find it. So I cooked them on a baking sheet. They were far apart so they were just not as flakey like yours. I'm definitely trying them again. They had a good taste. But could have been better. A little too brown on the bottom. But ok for my first try lol!
