Agree!! Alocasia are a pain. Only plants I just can’t keep happy. My silver dragon ALWAYS gets yellow tips no matter what I try and I’m tempted to pitch the thing in the bin at this point as it just stresses me. I swore of alocasias, but your zabrina is tempting me.......

Can you keep it by the window during the summer? Especially if it's really humid outside from the rain? I live in the Midwest.

My alocasia polly has 9 leaves now, it used to have a couple more but they died when the new leaves came in, I thought it was just me ahah

i recently got a zebrina and the new growth has yellow spots. it's in bright indirect light, still in its nursery pot. but the soil seems very peat moss heavy and honestly is still wet feeling. i haven't watered it at all and i got it about 3 weeks ago. should i repot with a better draining soil or would that damage the plant/wait til it dries more? thanks!

Let it dry out then water smaller amounts so the soil doesn't say very wet for to long but if issues keep happening with other new leaves you might want to change the soil mixture also i forgot to mention in the video they are prone to spider mites and these mites target the newer leaves so it couldn't hurt to have a close look between the v of the leave and the underside if u notice slight webbing with really tiny dots crawling around give your plants leaves a good spray down in the shower and buy a mite spray.
