I agree. Have only been on 2 cruises - excursions were ok, but I preferred the cruise ship. Any I go in in the future, I will not take many excursions.

Did you meet people on the cruise while being solo

I do but I am very much an introvert so I didn’t participate in the solo meetings nor do I go up and start conversations with people. If someone starts talking to me then of course I’ll talk back. But if you are a people person there are plenty of people to meet. I know Norwegian and Princess have solo meetings where you can meet other solo passengers.
