You guy's are inspiring a lot of Filipino's to make their dreams come true including us. Currently residing here in Texas, and working as a Nurse and planning to retire in the coming years and hopefully to achieve our own dream of living and enjoying the Philippines.
Not fully stress free, since we still have to worry about our resort and beach home construction but they are good stresses to have : ) .... everything else is like paradise for us here
Waiting for your next vlog.
Palengke trip ulit! You guys are fortunate kasi easy access to fresh seafood!welcome back and wish u well on your build and life in general, with your new baby!
sky will have a better childhood in the philippines especially in the province. that can never be taken away from her even if someday she decides to pursue a life here in CA ♥️ Good job to the parents!!
The issue could be that her education won't be recognized in Canada should she decide to look for a career or go to university there...unless of course she is attends an academically-recognized private high school in the Philippines. I'm sure her parents will make the best decision concerning that area.
Yes Doy everyone is at a different phase sa buhay, its important to sumikap, dream, save and invest so you can live the life you want in the future for you and your family, so keep that Canada 🇨🇦 dream alive : ) and you'll definitely get there
I love your vlogs..we are family of 4 early 30's ,also creating some investments for our future. My husband is also an ilocano(ilocos sur) so i can relate living in city life and province life too :) you inspired us! :>
Ilocanos are one of the most successful Filipinos in every field from commerce and trade to law practice to medical field to sciences to military to marine shiping, acadrmics, finance and economics, but the best ilocano Few best things about ilocanos is their drive to succeed in their field is oustanding and their desire to persue degrees. In an ilocano household the lowest educational attainmrnt maybe a college undergrad.
I laughed so hard when Story said "the wet market stinks", hahaha. Thats common in the Philippines and you cannot find it in Canada and other western countries. Its more fun in the Philipoines. This country is like Heaven if you are financially stable and united with family.
Skye is at that age where we can bring her everywhere and these experiences will shape and mold her. We are just loving every moment with the Kids here in the Pinas and its definitely more fun here : )
@@oursimpleandextraordinarylife , oh my gosh. Sorry for mentioning Stpry instead of Skye. Cos before watching your vlog i watched Eight Miles ftom Home where their daighter Story was there talkinh too. I was confused. Tjey're both storytellers, haha.
Living here in Calgary, Alberta and I feel like i'm not going to stay here. In the end sa Pilipinas pa din talaga ako magreretire. That was my plan before and it is still my plan today. I feel raising kids is way better in the Philippines than here. Grabe un pagkaliberal nila dito.
OMG im just a new subscriber- i just bought a a house in Iloilo city-- but we have my parents house in one of the town in central iloilo..we are preparing also to retire in the Philippines.. we dont have much family here in 🇨🇦 - my father dont want to stay here as he is a retired teacher/principal- mu brothers family cancelled their immigration application 15 years ago- because they realized how hard of non stop working here, it was a right decision though. Im so excited to see my newly purchased house soon..
New sub here po from SE USA. Try nyo po don't speak w/ western accent or English kapag with locals sa palengke etc.
More like living the province life the wesrern way. Unless you can sustain your cash outflow as a young family in your present living conditions, you will be back in Canada. Come back to retire.

the best life is a simple life
Invest on solar power instead of generator maingay at mausok
Welcome back simple life 👏👏👏👏👏
Haven’t watched in a year but you looked stressed out there - At any rate, still tidier in Canada but we have our own choices - All the best!

Wow! Enjoy Philippines again!
Simple life welcome back ❤
yes your best option is to go solar😊
Power interruptions will get worse. Invest in solar power system. I heard they are not that expensive in the Philippines as compered here in US.
We will definitely look into those Maria, thanks for the comment 👍

Instead of gas powered generator which is some source of power, how about going solar?
Pag natapos yang paraiso del bacnotan .. a buckelist to stay in La union.
Yes 👍 we can't wait to see you here : ) when it's all done
I wanna go back too.
Please post the generator that you use :)

New subscriber. Hi
Hello welcome to the fam : )
Doesn't matter where you live, life always bring stress factors. There is no perfect place to live in the world.
❤❤❤
Where is tuyo and fried Eggs?
Your Mom is in town?
Yes she is : )

Retire in Canada and end up in a Senior Home. No thanks
The climate is another reason. Winter and seniors don't mix well
