NOOOO that waa NOT the correct area. You were just ABOUT to cross into north Meridian lol. The area u were in at the end of the video was the opposite end of North Hills lolll. North Meridian has historic homes, country clubs, if u turn off of North hills street & ride through neighbors there are mansions & just over all really nice homes. The apartments are off North Hills Street/highway 39 that they meant. The ones u showed were borderline decent, at best, 40 years ago loll. Merryhope is best visited at Christmas bcz display about 50 or so trees inside & people have weddings there. You missed David Ruffin bld, the murals, the 3foot... There's a lot more but I guess it's easier if u know where to actually go but North Meridian homes are a site behold. You wouldn't have been able to get into the really nice apartments tho. I think they all have gated entrances. Where u ended the clip leads North West & there are nice neighborhoods over there as well but they're also OFF North Hills street. The road itself, just leads you to nice places on both ends but there's nothing spectacular on it because it's typically a very busy street. So businesses & trees & a few homes but make any turn & the neighborhoods are nice. Poplar Springs area has a lot of historic homes & had u continued down from the high-school you'd have hit the proper area because that's where it starts but somehow u ended up at North Hills manor lolll. Good ride along tho. Just wish u could have gotten to the nicer stuff bcz the area is vast
I am from Meridian- those are the wrong “north hills apts” 😂. North Hills is an area - North Meridian. The area you were is not the North Hills, the people told you about. Good video though!
I lived in those apartments, the building behind the sign actually in 99-2000 when I was 11-12. Had some really good times playing around out there but yea those apartments were rough.
I'm hooked on your Mississippi town series and Meridan is one of the medium size cities in the state. I really love the small towns with less than 1,000 people but for someone looking to relocate to the state who expect certain services, Meridan is great. The prices for homes in this city are reasonable too. Win win for everyone.
Young Lady. Thanks for the videos. We love them all. Mississippi is a beautiful place. I wish you could make the videos longer. I could just sit here and watch them all day
My first time yesterday going to Meridian Ms. I really enjoyed shopping and the food at the Rib Shack was amazing. The workers were very friendly. I’m going back asap.❤
When people refer to north hills street, they’re mainly talking about eastern part of north hills street. I don’t think some people realize that north hills goes from hwy 39 to hwy 19 north. At the end of the video, you’re weren’t on north hills st. anymore. You were on state boulevard ext.
Apartments next to Bonita lakes park are nice. You should have turned right instead of left you went to north hills manor North Hills Street is what you were looking for. Mark Villa, Mar Rays Apartments Broadmoor Apartments Stratford Manor Apartments Hwy 39 North have New Apartments 😊 Marion have Apartment Units
I love and was born in Meridian Ms i have lived in many other states about 5 i have travel all around this country but this is HOME 🏡 I WAS BORN IN THE 1950'S yes the jim crow era
Not yet, focused on Mississippi for the start of the videos. Is there a particular place you wanted to see (outside of Mississippi) just curious as to where?
I can't say for sure when it will be but if you keep seeing videos of other places, it's not because I forgot. I will actually vacate there so it's coming in the future.
Make sure you go to the hood part to give me people the real look of Gulfport. Area call North Gulfport, Turnkey, Rolly mellows, sewer city.. Just ask anyone in North Gulfport or Turnkey friendly people.
Doesn’t look like there is much opportunity. Lack of progression. I live in Birmingham, AL, not the best city in the world but there is more to do here, with lots of job opportunity as well. Plus it’s like only three hours away from Meridian.
Watch Oxford, MS next...link below

Not yet, focused on Mississippi for the start of the videos. Is there a particular place you wanted to see (outside of Mississippi) just curious as to where?
Go to Gulfport Ms on the coast.
I definitely will
You just earn another sub with that response of going to Gulfport, Ms

I want to also add. I’ve been to Meridian before and there was just absolutely nothing to do. Unless you like to fish.
@@lanice76reed9I love fishing

Yes and I love it
This is not a good perspective of Meridian. You left out many nice sections
Meridian is a forgetting city sad to see how it has not changed in many many years 😢
