Which of the Gen X’ers didn’t have a BB Gun? That’s like Standard issued for Gen X. 2nd what Gen X’er doesn’t love A Xmas Story w/ good ole Ralphie? For Gen X it’s a must watch weeks before & on Xmas day as a tradition. 3rd us Gen X loved Chevy Chase & National Lampoons, but National Lampoons Xmas Vacation is classic & a must watch on Xmas day as tradition.
I honestly cheated a bit and used Lucas gun oil (for guns only), but I’ve had no problems with it. The Daisy’s eat it up and they don’t care. You can find it at Bass Pro Shops but any old motor oil should do, just make sure if you’re in doubt to go on the thinner side and never lube the bore.
Daisy recommends 20W non-detergent type motor oil. I've been using a drop of Napier gun oil every 500 or so shots and it works fine. You only need to add a tiny amount, literally one or two drops in the hole where it says 'OIL HERE'. As long as it's a quality lubricant (not cooking oil or something) I don't think it matters too much what type.
thank you for that wave of nostalgia man, i appreciate that.
No problem man, the Daisy red Ryder is absolutely gorgeous
Wow....my very first bb gun. I was beyond happy when UPS delivered it when I was 12 years old. I just may buy it now, just because.
Definitely do it! 30 bucks at walmart
I got one of those... I'm 53.
Gotta have ‘em!

Do you have to oil??? Are there any improvements with the oil or not???
@@TheLandon23 don’t oil the barrel. Oiling the action can ease things up, but it isn’t strictly necessary. The red Ryder can take a beating
@ yeah thanks, lol
Is the oil just for looks?
@@TheLandon23 no, it’s serves a very real purpose
I didn't see a compass in the stock?
That’s a different limited edition model
