Getting both the mastery skill and a dead ringer early , kind of activates easy mode as a trade off though.

My fav Warfarer set up is two Mystic Spearhand skills + Skullsplitter and I carry a Sorcerer staff as well for traversal and Stamina refill. Only swiching thru three weapons is not too bad, anymore is too slow.
Just wish that that warfarer had a dedicated command for rearm, like LB+LT (for special draw), LB +RB Or L3+R3 Or LB + Left (which normally opens the item menu shortcut, a special warfarer command replacing this is fine That way I can use 2 weapons… 2 best skills each
if you use both theif ultimate skills together its broken. You nuke the boss and dodge your own attack eliminating the downside entirely. Definitely #1 imo.
Pyre with feint is very powerful, but only against enemies that are downed and weak to fire. Skull splitter does more damage outside of that. From what I noticed atleast.
I think spear should be higher you can protect your team melt bosses high movement to escape or reach weak points has a infinite slow ability can one shot any small mob just slow them first then use heavy but I’m just biased
You can actually easly twoshot the Melve drake with the balista (there are easy guides on YT)...doing so you get the Mystic Spearhand meister skill immediately fom Sigurd and you get the Dead Ringer Duospear by looting the drake (I am not sure if it is a 100% drop from that specific drake, but I got it on 2 playthroughs).
I agree with your list. Fair points on the vocations. Exactly my order of choice, even though I am forced to play other vocations in order to unlock their augments (I know I can go with Warfarer, but the main vocations level slow).
Putting Magick Archer as #1 is the factual positioning. There is no vocation with that much damage that also has great CC, best ability for enclosed areas aswell as the best healing ability and the strongest maister ability in the game. There is nothing even close. I would put the Mage vocation as the best vocation for pawns due to its versatility.
On the Mystic Spearhand.... has the easiest maester skill to get. when you get to the unlock go to the Ballista on the tower in Melve and just full blast hit the dragon 3 times and it dies. You get mastery right there and you get the second best weapon for the class right there.
Completely Agee with your list 100%. There’s an argument to be made that there is no “bad” vocations, only bad players. Surprisingly, I didn’t like MA in the first game but they are so powerful in this one. Sorcerer were op in the first game but they nerfed their magic too much now they are only a shadow of what they were.
List is highly subjective because it depends on how you like to play Most would argue thief is best because of Formless feint + blades of the Pyre. Some argue that Mystic Spearhand is best cuz they like the best of mirror Shield and being able to do both physical and ranged attacks. I personally like being upfront and personal so to me magick archer is kinda boring. it forces you to hang back and stay out of reach of boss attacks or packs of 4 or more enemies. Nothing is worst than getting gangbanged by large mobs and being unable to deal with enemies knocking you to the ground
I don't think us and this guy played the same game. Magic Archer is great but for crying out loud there are other great classes out there as well I think this video is irrelevant. Mind you I did watch the entire video.
Fighter is S Tier. You all play fighter wrong! Just 1 person on yt played it as mentioned. Its a conter class. Holt up all the time your shield up is so wrong. Perfect block and vengeful slash .. that way you knock all monsters down.. maister skill on weak point and every boss is down. There are 2 rings. 50% more strenght after perfect block and a ring that raises the knockdown bar, when you perfect block. With warrior augentation dominance you are a tanking killing machine, Leonidas itself 😎
hmm, i put it like this, this is my opinion only not fact and everyone has different play styles. I think trickster is fun when everyone is like 100+ plus. lol i dont like how slow and awkward warrior is. Sorry, i know thats my opinon but i put it at 10. 10. Warrior 9. Trickster (^these are interchangeable^) 8. Archer 7. Fighter 6. Mage 5. Sorc 4. Theif 3. Magick Archer 2. Mystic Spearhand (^these archer interchangeable as well^) 1. Wayfarer.
Can't believe people think ensnare for Thief is good when it's targeting is so unreliable. Almost 9x out of 10 trying to target a harpy and it misses, even when they are just right in front, it will cast it to the side. It should have an auto-target like archer for the skill. I also hate warrior because of how ungodly slow it plays. I don't want to STAND in combat, and much of warrior's skills are just standing there priming the skill, which IMO is ungodly boring. It doesn't matter how much damage something does if you absolutely hate playing it. Also, you didn't mention Solemnity for Mage, which is one of the best late game skills when fighting drakes because it FORCES them to crash to the ground.
skill issues, based on your comment i assume you just Stand in one position and Mash buttons. Ensnare is S tier skill , can flinch any small mobs, even that annoying stone lizardman. not just for taking down harpies , just ensnare to flinch and then finisher = easy mode. just reposition if misses, i use dashing towards your target. And you are playing warrior wrong if you think that class is slow , when i play warr , i zoom all over place to clear pack of mobs. open the fight with lunging ranged/ mage / or nearest lizards , then dash to another target - barge - fast timed normal attack/ non charge sweep / non charged sunder, if enemies not die , dash barge and bonk . repeat to remaining enemies if theres any . if you do this right , enemies will scattered and your party will make fast work of them
Archer is severely under rated and has way more utility than you think. Deluging arrow skill and having the rest of the party stacked with ice and lightning skills/weapons is actually broken, even dragons will get absolutely shredded by the extra lightning damage and turned into a giant popsicle every 20 seconds. Try this and thank me later 😂
@@THATguy-dx6bg wayfarer can deal with any enemy and with Flare+Skull splutter you can one shot any boss, Thief is the best defensive class in game and can pump out massive damage without worrying about being hit. The classes in A tier are great classes but have their drawbacks
Most don’t understand how to play the trickster. People think that you have to be creative in how you fight enemies all the time. Trying to set up kills and finding the perfect environmental hazard etc. That’s why it’s not fun for them. Things change when you start seeing trickster as a tank and a crowd control class. Setting up creative ways to kill enemies is something you’ll do probably just 5% of your entire gameplay. 95% of the time you’ll be like a freaking commander tearing through enemies using insanely buffed pawns, with none of you getting hit, enemies chasing illusions and killing each other.
yall know thief is the best. even if it didn't have a dodge all skill, it beats everyone because of mobility. the dash make it the best class for pawn and arisen.
Coveting not covering. The RAM and CPU story about use and efficacy and power etc. understanding modern technology advancements using a 'coveting or sustainable'? Approach...
I disagree with a ton of your views! The best true class is THIEF !! not even close. Warfarer isn't even fair because it's unreal class. So just say Warfarer doesn't exist. THIEF IS THE BEST CLASS . it's fast , u can kill anything, u can't even get hit if u play it right. Warfarer and thief are untouchable.
Come on man magic Archer is number one it's too easy. Magic archer is shut your brain off mode. Also it has no movement at all it's just shoot Arrows. I think Mage should have been number one. If you main Mage With 2 damage sources and palladium,You're a god.
My arisen is a Mage And I find that playing as a mage you need to plan ahead and really think about which skills you equip and I think that switching them out at camps in order to fit the situation is essential. It allows for a more strategic approach to combat and Pawn management Most people don't appreciate this
Mage is overrated, it’s useful in early game where you’re just learning how to play and being a safety net… But as you get better and avoid damage more often, they kind of lose their usefulness. Sure, Celerity and Paen are pretty good, but you can achieve the same results with items. Roberants are extremely powerful items that restore a lot of Health/Stamina, are very light and are easy to make, rendering healing from Mages completely outclassed. Savage Extracts also exist.
The people saying warrior is top 3 is high lol. Magic archer nukes stuff Sorcerer nukes Mystic spearhand cant die and deal massive damage Mage is vital to have on a team Theif cant die, farms money, and deal incredible damage. Fighter is great support, can take and deal a ton of stagger and damage with the right forges. Warfarer has all of these benefits It really archer, trickster and warrior at the bottom, with trickster far at the bottom. All these classes can put in good work, but the rest of the classes are busted strong
Warrior is a better fighter , they can tank almost any attacks without staggering , they deal significantly more damage more aggro , more support with more knockdown power , reach higher weak points, stamina efficient and consistent doing that. you just playing warr wrong. i rate Warr slightly higher than Sorc. Maybe Warr deal less damage than Sorc , but they have higher survivability , higher stamina sustain , less party dependant than sorc, while helpin party with lots of knockdown and aggro.
My tier list is S tier ( God tier without any investment) - Thief , Mage , MArcher A tier ( OP with little investment ) - Warr , Sorc B Tier ( OP with Lots investment ) - MS (higher tier than Archer for sure, B+) , Archer C Tier ( Playable , Needs some buff ) - Fighter D Tier ( WHy they even exist ) - Trickster Warfarer depends on your setup
just get 1 your char to unmoored world pass 1 day and give all your gear to a friend or second account. Sleep. Die. Dont use wakestone. Tell the game to start unmoored day 1. Ta daa you have all your gear and you
so you know all those spell books we collect and never use....well....with trickster, you can use them all. But yeah....worst vocation. Imagine...if Capcom wants to really mess with us have a Sphinx riddle to kill a Drake with Trickster going solo or an achievement.
Should have at least let trickster use its weapon as a flail. Never seen anyone speak highly of it: just seems like a waste of resources and a class slot
Seriously disagree with Warrior being 9th, and it's not because I'm a huge Warrior stan or anything in this. Currently playing one on my third playthrough, and my character is running around at "Light" encumbrance full time while in the typically heavier gear. Really just need to make sure at character creation you're playing a taller character, and also the Fighter's Thew is a must (but easy to get since you have to start as a Fighter anyway). Plus, the beetles eventually un-nerf the weight system in this game back to where it was in the original game. Unless you're soloing, weight should not be a problem since pawns are pack mules as well. Not sure why you're putting the vocation so low due to skill. A skill requirement should never, ever have any relevance on a real tier list. Unless the list is for "ease of use" only. Also, in case you didn't actually know this, for most trash you wouldn't bother with the Warrior's charge up skills unless it's a Harpy or the heftier stuff like Skeletal Warriors (two-handed) or Hobgoblins that won't stop turtling. For the rest, just do the running jumping attack with your heavy attack and it will smash, then grab and toss away most enemmies, one-shotting them and it's very easy to land. The Warrior's basic light attack swings do enough for most trash too. Real list: Player S - Warfarer, Magick Archer, Thief A - Sorcerer, Trickster (god is this class boring though and relies on AI) B - Warrior, Mage (very close to A), Mystic Spearhand (S tier for style though) C - Fighter D - Archer Pawns S - Mage (High Levin, Shield, Celerity/Ultimate) A - Fighter (without Shield Drum) B - Sorcerer (High Levin and Flare, and no ultimate slotted), Thief, Archer (with only Manifold slotted) C - Warrior F - Fighter (with Shield Drum)
@@hoarahloux9326 You might actually want to take your own advice, because you clearly haven't done that yourself if you think the Fighter is actually higher than that. They're one of the worst vocations for the player. Extremely low damage, and "tanking" as a player is also useless. Pawns do not need you to draw aggro either as a Fighter since you will be drawing aggro most of the time anyway with most vocations unless your damage is terrible, and even then Provocation is more than enough. I didn't just toss some random list together without actually playing all of the vocations maxed, with the best skills, augments and gear, but you do you and stay true to your Fighter stans.
how archer is that low ? Exploding shot + deathly arrow combo one shotting Cyclops , not even sorc can kill it that fast unless sorc use their stored spell. can clear pack of scattered mobs sometime even before your "tank" kill the closest mob. use manual aim lol

I'm using the Warfarer to lvlup some classes I'm still missing, and using the Trickster's skills cause with my party, it smashes a drake in less than a minute, faster than most classes I've used before.
My fav Warfarer set up is two Mystic Spearhand skills + Skullsplitter and I carry a Sorcerer staff as well for traversal and Stamina refill.
Only swiching thru three weapons is not too bad, anymore is too slow.
I'm currently playing an Archer/Thief Warfarer with a Mage staff, trying to get all the seeker tokens.
1. Warfarer
2. Thief
3. Mystic spearhand
4. Warrior
5. Fighter
The rest are all ranged boring classes in my opinion.
6. Sorcerer
7. Magic archer
8. Mage( best main pawn class)
9. Archer
10. Trickster lol
U can get the Maister skill for Mystic Spearhand the same time you get the vocation by using the ballista to kill the Drake.
Or being a thief
Tried this multiple times and each time it didn't kill the dragon. Hit it THREE times and it still didn't die.
@@ADarklore Then u missed cause everyone else has been able to do it. I've done it on multiple playthroughs.
Just wish that that warfarer had a dedicated command for rearm, like LB+LT (for special draw), LB +RB Or L3+R3
Or LB + Left (which normally opens the item menu shortcut, a special warfarer command replacing this is fine
That way I can use 2 weapons… 2 best skills each
I wish you could wear any armor regardless without having to lock the option behind a class. I like being drippy, let me wear my drip.
if you use both theif ultimate skills together its broken. You nuke the boss and dodge your own attack eliminating the downside entirely. Definitely #1 imo.
A maxed thief is utterly broken and I love it. If you can manage your stamina...its over
Pyre with feint is very powerful, but only against enemies that are downed and weak to fire.
Archer still my favorite. This game is super easy so damage doesn’t matter. This archer is the best role play of an archer in any game I’ve played.
If you like to stand still lol
I played thief. First swap was to magic archer. It's so much harder to play. Thief is literally invincible and does insane damage.
Once you master warrior it is so strong
List is highly subjective because it depends on how you like to play
Most would argue thief is best because of Formless feint + blades of the Pyre.
Worst list I've seen 😂
Just pitiful 😭😭
I don't think us and this guy played the same game. Magic Archer is great but for crying out loud there are other great classes out there as well I think this video is irrelevant. Mind you I did watch the entire video.
Yeah this garbage tier list lol
What's you list?
@@nbk17inchyet you couldn't name something better.
I wish the Magic Archer had the dive jump like regular archer.
10. Warrior
9. Trickster
(^these are interchangeable^)
8. Archer
7. Fighter
6. Mage
5. Sorc
4. Theif
3. Magick Archer
2. Mystic Spearhand
(^these archer interchangeable as well^)
1. Wayfarer.
"Fighters role is a tank"
Meanwhile Fighters can also 2 shot minataurs.
S tier Wayfarer/Thief
A tier Sorc/Magic Arch/Spearhand/Warrior
wayfarer is a thief is the only s
@@THATguy-dx6bg wayfarer can deal with any enemy and with Flare+Skull splutter you can one shot any boss, Thief is the best defensive class in game and can pump out massive damage without worrying about being hit. The classes in A tier are great classes but have their drawbacks
@@nandog2597 naw. You have to move fast to even get the combo off. Plus thief fake ultimate skill is very powerful. Wayfarer is a A tier class.
Trickster would be a great online vocation
Solid video thanks for sharing!
Coveting not covering. The RAM and CPU story about use and efficacy and power etc. understanding modern technology advancements using a 'coveting or sustainable'? Approach...
I disagree with fighter i think its #2
That’s what I’m saying!
Mystic spearhand is pretty fucking fun. How u rank that 5th is crazy 🤪 😜 lol. To each there own
I agree. I love playing Mystic Spearhand, and Thief would be a close 2nd.
MSH is the most self sufficient class in the game. You don't even have to use curatives if you're good enough.
cant wait for dlc or coop
My arisen is a Mage
And I find that playing as a mage you need to plan ahead and really think about which skills you equip and I think that switching them out at camps in order to fit the situation is essential. It allows for a more strategic approach to combat and Pawn management
Most people don't appreciate this
Just like most vocations, their mobility is pretty much lacking. Not just Magick Archer
Good job, shits on warrior, proceeds to play it wrong
His complaint for almost every class is that they r not a support class 😂😂
With the sword and shield I wish you could swap the shield for another sword to dull wielding
The people saying warrior is top 3 is high lol.
Magic archer nukes stuff
Sorcerer nukes
Mystic spearhand cant die and deal massive damage
Mage is vital to have on a team
Theif cant die, farms money, and deal incredible damage.
Fighter is great support, can take and deal a ton of stagger and damage with the right forges.
Warfarer has all of these benefits
It really archer, trickster and warrior at the bottom, with trickster far at the bottom. All these classes can put in good work, but the rest of the classes are busted strong
That’s an opinion bruh warrior is better for some people and I can see why
Warrior is a better fighter , they can tank almost any attacks without staggering , they deal significantly more damage more aggro , more support with more knockdown power , reach higher weak points, stamina efficient and consistent doing that. you just playing warr wrong. i rate Warr slightly higher than Sorc. Maybe Warr deal less damage than Sorc , but they have higher survivability , higher stamina sustain , less party dependant than sorc, while helpin party with lots of knockdown and aggro.
My tier list is
S tier ( God tier without any investment) - Thief , Mage , MArcher
A tier ( OP with little investment ) - Warr , Sorc
B Tier ( OP with Lots investment ) - MS (higher tier than Archer for sure, B+) , Archer
C Tier ( Playable , Needs some buff ) - Fighter
D Tier ( WHy they even exist ) - Trickster
Warfarer depends on your setup
Ai being good meanwhile they jump off cliffs killing themselves because you are using the ladder
just get 1 your char to unmoored world pass 1 day and give all your gear to a friend or second account. Sleep. Die. Dont use wakestone. Tell the game to start unmoored day 1. Ta daa you have all your gear and you
Pawn AI is not good. It’s almost the same AI as DD1 which came out in 2012.
This is why trickster feels so bad to play.
so you know all those spell books we collect and never use....well....with trickster, you can use them all. But yeah....worst vocation. Imagine...if Capcom wants to really mess with us have a Sphinx riddle to kill a Drake with Trickster going solo or an achievement.
Ngl this list is bad As soon as I saw warrior at 9 I already knew warfare at not being at least top 3 is also wild.
What a bad argumentation of why a vocation is where it is.
Trickster vocation has no right to exist. Whoever in Capcom came up with the idea should commit sudoku. 😂
Warfarerer shoulda been 1 because sorc sigil and splitter from thief and kill dragons in just a few hits 15 second kill.
Sorcerer AOE dps thief single dps mage best support my opinion 😊
Everyone knew trickster was 10 lol
Should have at least let trickster use its weapon as a flail.
Never seen anyone speak highly of it: just seems like a waste of resources and a class slot
Mage does NOT deserve a number 2 spot, like not at all lol
For Pawns? #1. For the Arisen? Almost as bad as Trickster.
Strider is still the best vocation😂
Warrior, Magic Archer, and Thief = S Rank. Everything else mid. Trickster is trash, unique? Sure. Fun? No.
MSH isn't mid if you know what you're doing
I despise trickster
Can you stop saying sumucrum please?
The warfarer is the best class! If u don't know that u are crazy I'm sorry lol. Wake up
worst ranking i’ve ever seen, bro missed the point of half of the vocations
Real list:
Player
S - Warfarer, Magick Archer, Thief
A - Sorcerer, Trickster (god is this class boring though and relies on AI)
B - Warrior, Mage (very close to A), Mystic Spearhand (S tier for style though)
C - Fighter
D - Archer
Pawns
S - Mage (High Levin, Shield, Celerity/Ultimate)
A - Fighter (without Shield Drum)
B - Sorcerer (High Levin and Flare, and no ultimate slotted), Thief, Archer (with only Manifold slotted)
C - Warrior
F - Fighter (with Shield Drum)
Real list and fighter so low 😂 maybe master the vocations befor u try to rate them
@@hoarahloux9326 You might actually want to take your own advice, because you clearly haven't done that yourself if you think the Fighter is actually higher than that.
Warfarer S, Trickster A, Warrior B and MSH B are all hilariously low IQ opinions
how archer is that low ? Exploding shot + deathly arrow combo one shotting Cyclops , not even sorc can kill it that fast unless sorc use their stored spell. can clear pack of scattered mobs sometime even before your "tank" kill the closest mob. use manual aim lol
@@hoarahloux9326 yes i agree with him , fighter is that low. Warrior is just a better fighter. name 1 thing fighter do better than warrior other than slapping harpies down.
Magic arch no no no its really boring way 2 play
This is a terrible list 💀
Is perfect. Just play DD2
