This year's Yankees are exactly analogous to last spring's Celtics. That is a great point. I like Simmons but he really doesn't know much of anything about baseball. He knows a bit about football and a lot about basketball but his opinions on baseball are nearly always misinformed. Bill doesn't seem to know how badly injured the Dodgers' pitching staff is and that the Royals and Guardians both had better team ERAs than the Dodgers did this year. Simmons has always been and forever will be a typical butt hurt, ignorant Red Sox fan. The funny thing is that even after the Red Sox finally broke their curse and won a World Series, guys like Simmons still seem just as angry and bitter as they always were.
