The nice thing as a Kings fan is that the San Jose Sharks are fun to watch for the first time in 5 years so if the Kings have a disappointing season, we at least have something else to look forward to in the young Sharks team who has the number 1 pick, Macklin Celebrini. I definitely do think the Kings will be better this year than they were last year with their sophomore slump.

I don't really care either way but I think it was last year that Bill said he wasn't going to consider Lebron's health or age when predicting the Lakers because it gets brought up every year and he's still one of the best players in the league. I guess he forgot this.

You're missing the point - LeBron and AD are old, and AD in particular has an injury record. You'd expect them to miss more games than that, same isn't true for Tatum and Brown or Jokic.

That lakers segment was one of the most embarrassing things the ringer has ever done. One of the laziest and most disingenuous breakdowns of a team I’ve ever seen in sports media in my life. Russillo starts it off by saying “LeBron and AD played 71 and 76 games and the team was an afterthought”. My response would be, WHY DO YOU THINK THE COACH GOT FIRED??? The lakers were 3 games back from being the 5 seed last year and getting the Mavs path in the playoffs. Clippers w/o kawhi. Young OKC. Minnesota coming down from the high of beating Denver in game 7. And most importantly, AVOIDING DENVER. You think a better coach might’ve helped them win 3 more games in the regular season? Just a thought. Then Simmons comes in with one of the most absurd breakdowns I’ve ever heard. He says the lakers were 8th in 3pt % but only shot 31 per game. Then goes on to name the worst shooters on the team, who were also either hurt last year, hurt this year, or won’t even be in the rotation… he names AD, which is fine. Then Reddish who’s out of the 10 man rotation. Vando who was hurt most of last year and is hurt this year. Wood who was hurt most of last year and is hurt this year. Vincent who was hurt all last season. Then he jokes about D-Lo who had one of his best shooting seasons last year, and completely ignores Rui, Reaves, Christie and Knecht who all have a chance to be 38% or higher from 3 this year. Minnesota clearly got worse. Denver clearly got worse. Dallas clearly got worse defensively. Pelicans have no center. Sacramento has no defense. Phoenix can’t rebound or defend. The warriors have no interior size. Memphis hasn’t played serious basketball in 2 years and have a bunch of injuries AGAIN. The lakers have no two-way players other than AD and they have someone who’s never coached before, as their head coach. Best case scenario, lakers coaching is on par with Sacramento and the pelicans. Every other coach is better. Even tho Steve Kerr is on fraud watch lmfao. Just ask his fans and those who watched the Olympics this year. I think the lakers finish same place they have been the last few years. 6-8. Maybe they get 5th. Maybe they miss the playoffs or the play in. But this break down of the team was pathetic, embarrassing and so clearly biased and lazy. I guess this is what happens when Bill’s team wins a championship. He disrespects every other team lol
