This defense attorney just helped prove the case when questioning the doctor. The one question when he try to say he liked himself by hyperventilating. It caused him to lose oxygen. However, the knee to the neck didn’t help his lose of oxygen.
Not sure why the chief's high school, college and anything but this incident has to be brought up. So, will those same exact questions be asked for everyone? Including unemployed drop outs?

I think this ER doctor is pretty boring and I’ve seen lots of boring witnesses. And IMHO the manner of questioning by this prosecution attorney for the ER doc was slow and plodding.

The officers still failed to try to render aid and I believe that they had 4 minutes to go from wrestling a monster to chest compressions. Indeed they would have been heroes if they pulled this off. This whole thing caught them off guard. how many people are heroes.
I wouldn't feel safe in my community with this police chief. I respect his way of thinking. The situation with Floyd could have easily been de-escalated, there are many situations where a lollipop just won't do it.

Irl judges will sometimes give leniency on questioning to the prosecution and defense in order streamline things and save time. For instance,the judge in the Chauvin trial gave Nelson a ton of leeway in his directs & crosses too. But apparently judges will do that so there's less chance the defense can appeal later. So they err on the side of caution. The Prosecutors is hosted by 2 experienced prosecutors and was really interesting to hear how trials actually work compared to what we see on tv.
This junior doctor did a fabulous job explaining the situation. Very impressed by him in this stressful situation.
