We are ready to pay tax , we know our country will only progress through the money we give but what do we get in return 1) No clean Air for breath , no clean water to drink , sewage system is clogged , roads are flooded , bridges are collapsing , airport ceiling is falling , railways accident has increased , farmers and army are not happy , buisness man are not happy , middle class are not happy .

I am a strong supporter of BJP but still I observe FM talks about congress when she doesn't have an answer. Like when reporter is asking about why the burden of income tax is only on 2 crore people she answers ye to congress ke time par bhi tha... Ary ma'am we voted for BJP for some change and not to continue the same.. otherwise we were happy with congress were atleast every year on year exemptions were increasing for middle class..

Congratulations for being record 7th time budget presentation. India with 140 crores population and pushed into poverty over 70 years and bad education and industry and licence raj policies, corruption at every level and so many political parties and regional parties it is a herculean task for government to present budget as frank as this. Loose broker budget
Nirmala has been particularly harsh on non-government Retirees bordering on Sadism. That too social security is last priority of this FM. Pandering to the already super rich is what she is doing
1. Non-government create a stream of retirement income from interest in the absense of pension. Giving standard deduction only to for pension and increasing is OUTRIGHT SADISM.
2. SWP is another tool for creating a regular income for non-government Retirees. Not by increasing tax rate on LTCG is another example of BLEEDING RETIREES.
3. One can only hope for Karma to catch up as it did with Jaitley.
Sorry We are not accepting this word for Daily userd product, Grocery is not reduced after it comes to GST, it's maintenance like a VAT Tax act.. just go to market and look into this. You are seated in Parliament, you collect all special for the Cabinet Minister..

It is the beginning of the end when a Minister, who survives on taxpayers money, thinks she is giving something to the salaried people.
She has to realize that her job is to reduce the tax burden, and achieve whatever necessary at a lower cost.
She doesn't even take into account the inflation, which is another tax on the already tax paying citizen.
In the end, no political parties care about tax payers in India because they account for only 2% of the population.
They are basically being forced to pay taxes so the political parties can give out freebies in the name pf poverty, religion, caste.
In a country where even a govt peon is provided with pension, the Tax payer, from whose money that pension goes, does not have any pension for themselves, from the govt. Ideally this is okay, as it's better for individuals to manage their money.
But here the govt forces to pay the taxes, however wrong they are, bit will not increase the tax base, for fear of losing votes.
It is another reason Indians are leaving India if they can.
