No wiping-No Scrubbing! Then they went to scrubbing, wiping and a vacuum! Love to see it done to the whole attic. You’d be there a year on your stomach in the tight places by the eaves. Lol

Do dehumifers and air purfier both kill mold spores and mold I have mold in my bedroom and I use dehumifers and I have plug in air purfier also do they both work and are they both worth using
Dehumidifiers and air purifiers can be helpful but the principles of removing the source should always come first. Thanks for commenting.

How much does it cost??
Where does the HEPA sandwich cleaning happen? By that i mean, the HEPA vacuum + antimold wiping + 2nd HEPA vacuum. Or does this make a HEPA sandwich redundant?
i don't think that's right with the iicrc i thought the standard was you had to physically remove the dead mold spores from the contaminated area how is spraying it and smearing the wet soil load over the surface fixing that, yes you remove some but after that dried and i was doing it in containment wouldn't there still be residue left , air samples don"t differentiate between live and dead spores
john criswell Imbedded soil isn't maximally driven to the surface for removal via HEPA vac. The exothermic reaction between OxyPrep and Oxypar provides superior soil removal as compared to "killing the mold" with antimicrobial treatments, etc. Soil removal is our #1 priority, though we understand that property owners prize aesthetics (stain removal). Yes and No. When I did remediation we sanded the surface best would could. Then we actually used OxyPar to clean and scrub. Then we use oxyprep to remove as much of the stains as possible. Basically.... we removed as much as we could before cleaning the stains. The only other option to take care of this is too rip the roof off and put a new one on and that is just not an option.
Did you ever just try Clorox or 50/50 Clorox and water? Clorox kills mold and removes the dark staining too usually.
Seriously you want to spray bleach in a restricted environment you are working/breathing in.
yes sodium hypochlorite works well. thats what clorox is. you could mix a 3% solution ands spray it on. most clorox bottles are 7%. so 50/50 would work just fine. but you do need to use a mask. evaporated sodium hypochlorite is chlorine gas and will burn your lungs. so precautions must be taken. but it will work at killing mold much faster, cheaper and easier then most other products.
Clorox does not kill mold at its roots!
Clorox only works on Non-porous surfaces. Not on wood, cement, etc.
We tried clorox way back when we started mold remediation. It does NOT work nearly as well as Oxyprep. Oxyprep is Chlorine on steroids. Trust me....we tried everything.

It’s certainly an old video where we didn’t know what we were running into on the contractor’s job. Our newer videos are much better and more concise.
