Metallica - Orion BASS BOOSTED + REVERB
Вставка
- Опубліковано 13 лис 2021
- I got bored so I decided to edit my preferred version of Orion.
I gave the bass a smoothed out (muffled) duplicate layer with the bass increased to give a bit of an extra bass effect. I also did the same with the guitar track to make it not sound too light. The bass layer itself was made louder but not so loud that it sounds isolated from the other instruments, I made it just so that it’s louder than the original but still blends with the other instruments. Everything has been given a slight reverb effect as if Metallica were playing live.
NOTE: I'm not making money off of this, I'm doing this just for people's viewing pleasure.
Recommended: wear some sort of headphones/earbuds (best)
UPDATE 1/15: improved version coming soon
Check out version 2 of this!
I love how we all love and remember Cliff even after all these years have passed.
This is Insane Loud Love it Cliff Burton Rocks
what a monster Cliff was, incredible bass lines
Just so sad to think what Cliff would've came up with if he was around longer, god I'd wish to be in that alternate universe where cliff didn't die.
there is most likely
maybe he's just as good as he was when he was alive in this universe
@@XanderMetalHead “he’s likely alive in another universe”🤓
Honestly the way it was mixed is perfect.
Orion is my favorite metallica tune of all. This one with a headset on and high volume is just perfection! 🤘🏼
The second version is even better. You can check it out on my channel
@@Antman-mv2xs yeahmaan! Very good job! 🤘🏼 Straight in the playlist that! 🤘🏼
Cliff Burton has been all this time the real example of "never forgotten".
Cliff was the bass master of pulling those strings
cliff was the 20th century version of j s bach. brought the low end massively
As a bass player, this absolutely nails it!!!
The Major Rager at his finest. Thanks for posting this masterpiece for us to enjoy, pure listening pleasure.
No problem! I’m uploading an improved version of this soon

R.I.P Cliff
Best part of the song
Guess to be a bassist in the 80's and some random dude named Cliff goes out with this enormous balls...
El hombre del bajo, me hubiese gustado verlo en el escenario
R.I.P Legend. R.I.P.
Props to you this sounds freaking great!
Metallica n the entire heavy metal world lost someone very special that terrible september morning
Very simply...an (FU...NG) excellent and positively crazy bassman!!!!
Er ist und war mit seinem Alter das absolute Ausnahme Talent was Bass angeht und auch seine Disziplin mein Sohn verehrt ihn und spielt seine Bass Mein Sohn Seydi.
That sounds really good with the reverb man
Царствие небесное Клифу.Прекрасному Бас гитаристу.
It's incredible he was just a kid pretty much writing this maybe it's the mushrooms but fucking mind blown. Just think what a mind like that would have accomplished .
He studied classics like Bach etc.
But just Imagine trying to step in and replace this guy? Jason Did it with almost limitless energy at first. But Just like Cliff, Jason was also turned down a whole lot more. Some of the best works ive ever heard from cliff are about 35 years after the fact. It just leads me to believe that cliff was also turned down.
Theres almost no doubt he was.
Who was shitty enough to do that? Of course, now, they will never admit it since anything cliff did is considered golden and it still is.
This was beautiful
The things Cliff would’ve done if he was still here 😢
On February 10, 2022 Cliff Burton would have turned the big 60.
Amazing man
Cliff un genio en el bajo
great job on this
Thanks! An improved version is coming soon
The saddest part of the song is the 4:02 mark
Sad...yet legendary! RIP Cliff!
Never occurred to me before but Cliff looks like that guy from Workaholics.
I’ve always wondered whether or not Cliff ever got to record using his Alembic Spoiler before it was stolen? 🤔
I’ve heard the Rickenbacker (Anesthesia:Pulling Teeth), and the Aria black n’ gold (Ride the Lightning album), but I don’t know if I’ve ever heard the Spoiler. 🤔
were did you found that footage 2:15 i never saw it

in 2021 i am already older Cliff
😭
Опять Я не этот ли автобус на фоне которого он снялся стал его смертью.Покойся с миром.
So many cliche comments,if he would have... God wants him,,, he would have been that age.. So sick of routine blah blah comments
Everyone in their prime composes extraordinary music..
everyone in their prime does not compose extraordinary music. prime example: you and me
we don’t even know if cliff was in his prime, his prime could’ve been the next 3 albums
@@alextrainor4038 hay u Moron, here everyone means about the persons who are in the music industry. Get some sense
For ur secind meaning less hypothetical statement :
Ya Steve Harris composed extraordinary music and lyrics in many albums, no one can copy his galloping bass style but did he get enough credits like ur cliff? , in the same way if Cliff would have lived and contributed to 10 albums extraordinarily in ur sense, his credit would not be such massive than to the credit he got after his demise,
Venom band produced some good albums at the beginning but later they failed,
David Gilmore is extrodinary guitarist, same with Jimmy page but did they get the recognition like Jimmy hendrix who died earlier
Search in any website
Best guitarist and bassist of all time
Jim hendrix, cliff burton
I had no problem with them
Same applies in the movie industry
Bruce Lee died in his prime, people started glorifying him like no shaolin monk even hundreda of shollin monks and ninjas can't beat that bruce Lee, sick people
People who seek attention for their comments and who don't have a personal opinion like u will only glorify them as Supreme.
See at the end of the day u will feel satisfy by looking at how many likes my comment gained. Pathetic!
This is awesome for the "play along" thing I do an how I learned bass. Cliff's playing (and mastery) often got drowned out by his more mediocre bandmates ;)
There's no way you just called hetfield mediocre
He's literally the best part about metallica
@@nickruisi5569 Hetfield's playing is unremarkable??? Are you high?
No one is mediocre in Metallica.
Pantera never cared in the least to turn down a single note Rex Brown ever did And they get much respect now for it. But why was Metallica always wanting to be so shitty to their bassists? Its really sad. Its Very sad.
Fishing tournament he was about Jim's Metallica games .bass master cliff bus.
