Why I buy these types of machine is because the can be repaired "Next time" and again and again which newer stuff cannot be fixed ongoing and newer machines are often now deemed "Part not available" from new! I'm buying older stuff every day.
Thank you for sharing this information, great video making skills focusing on parts and your descriptions of each piece. Appreciated by far more than you realize I am sure! Not all take time and many do not have You Tube accounts to comment on videos . Your contributions are very helpful! Best wishes!
Amazing timing! I was just up on the RV roof today. I wanted to close the slide-out, but first had to clean off the top of the slide-out topper before closing it. Anyway, the flex-seal roof is still in great shape. Nice and dry. No leaks, Just a little dirty up there. That's it. I'm happy with the flex seal up there.
The problem with the throttle is the rivet that acts as a pivot point gets loose. Drill out the rivet and replace it with a 1/4-20 bolt and a locking nut. Tighten as required. It will last forever.
Ambitious is the only thing I'll say to begin with!! Not everyone has the stones to take on broken studs! with that said it would have been better not to have busted them off in the first place and with the knowledge that "Hind sight is 20/20" there's no point in belabouring the fact. Heat, heat and more heat as well as a little squirt of a suitable Penetrating oil - rust remover would tremendously aid the process. Your choice of engine is that best of all worlds in that you're working on an upright stud and not at an angle to the block. This would be much more difficult on a stud that is mounted horizontally in the block. "Chasing" the threads to clean them up is the right way to go but again the constant refrain is that power tools should not be used on anything to tighten or loosen but just to finish removing or begin installing the bolt or nut in question. Too many are reliant on power tools (Hand held batt opp) which will not allow you to develop a feel for what is tight or about to snap or strip. That is one cool engine set up for the Toro PTO, belt drive system. Horizontally opposed twin is the way to go! Love it. Parts is parts and I'll take "a newer muffler for $5 Alex" over a New Muffler for $205 every time. Your comment "I can't see too well" would likely just be a passing comment most would pay no mind to however having just had cataract surgery myself I'm mindful that my vision is not what it once was and my lens' are both long distance vision lens' so I'm pretty much blind without glasses close up. (Can't read iPhone without them). So it's not so easy for us Old guys as it once was. Great job! Even for a Philly Phan with lace up boots and no Belt to hold up his pants (Shorts) Now get them leaves pilled up to burn and smoke out your asthmatic neighbour who already thinks your insane, like the rest of us. Looking forward to your "Leaky Lift cylinder repair" Great Video!!
Buck if you put anti seize on the threads of the bolts you shouldn't have a issue getting it off next time
Thank you. I hoping there isn't going to be a "next time."

Throttle drifting back down is your actual lever on the dash. You can sometimes squeeze the rivot that holds arm to bracket and make is tighter.
Thank you!

I just sold my 1995 Wheel Horse a few months ago. Needed rings but they were so expensive so i got rid of it.
Hmm...too bad. You've probably got enough projects going on, I'm going to guess.
@@Buckwsr Depends on circumstance but likely right Buck that it was a mistake to sell something that could be fixed for something that can't!!
