I’m American but I admire Australia and it’s people, and I’d love to visit some day. Something about their coasts, the Outback, and the forests and jungles of Australia is just magical and beautiful. Love to my mates from across the Pacific.
My precious granddaughter recorded this on video, with her singing, and sent it to me a few years ago. I cried then, my heart was bursting with pride. She was only 8! One of my favourite songs that makes me cry...Love it!!
My daughter is 6 months old and absolutely loves it when this comes on in between bananas in pj's and play school in the mornings. It almost makes me tear up everytime because hopefully she'll know she's australian from a very young age. I'll play it to her forever! Plus we are aboriginal on mums side so it's good for her so i can explain it to her when she's older ❤
You know that this song will be ingrained on her as an Aussie when she is an adult. I remember Qantas did the ad and they had the choir shoot that song all over our country, I think it was for their 70th, I was still very young, as an adult, this song bring so much of our national pride out, that I get emotional when I hear this song. Anywhere ❤️❤️❤️
this should be our anthem, it is way cachier and this warmed my heart and opened me up a bit more of about how people from everywhere come to australia because we are an amazing continent i wouldnt live in any other place other than australia.
It's not the national because, when the national anthem was changed from God save the queen to advance Australia fair. This was a pop song. Its probably also not the national anthem because it has a political message and political connotations that are not shored by majority of the country.
This version is so beautiful, showing the diversity and all the big smiles. I love it so much, and the message that everyone is Australian no matter your background brings us together.
Always loved this song! It always made me feel like i belonged/included whenever we had to sing it in school... This definitely should be the Aussie anthem, i feel pride everytime i hear it. 🖤💛❤🙏🏾🇦🇺
Whenever this comes on ABC kids I sing along - teaching my baby from a young age so hopefully he grows to sing along when he gets older too. This version should be our national anthem 💕💕💕
I’m 12 and I’m in year 6 in Australia, whenever we have assembly we sing Australian anthem and I remember this song very well from when I was 6 in 2018. Also it was on my tv I never failed to watch it I stopped what I was doing to watch back when it came out
I love this I watch it over and over,we should respect anyone and everyone no matter what they have or anything we are all different in our own ways and that’s a good thing:)
For four years straight I love this song and this makes me cry sometimes since it brings back me all of the good memories that I had with this song and the ABC😊
1. Waranyjarrri gunya garrjin (We are one) 2. Munja ngarru ngunil (But we are many) 3. Gala burunil (And from all) 4. Gabuya garraburlan (The lands on Earth we come) 5. Waranyjarrri gunngan-ga (We share a dream) 6. Yagarra girlbiran nurlu (And single with one voice) 7. Ngayu Juyu (I am, you are...) 8. Australian Yagarrjin (We are Australian) Good effort kids. I appreciate the sentiment! It would be great to see more versions of this song sung in every Indigenous language! (and really, every language used in Australia) Lines #2, #6, #7, #8 of this version sound VERY very good (tempo like the original).
This piece of 'arts' makes me so proud. The effort taken by our fellow Australians to engage children and their communities, and for children and communities to generously share in their language representation of indigenous voice as part of this inclusive and welcoming work. I hope to hear many different language groups leading more variations of this piece of music for us all to enjoy.
Omg I haven’t heard in so long yet I still remember it love seeing the two cults getting together for lost time after all that happened love this song it shares that we are all the same
I’ve been in Australia for 3 years and when I hear this song it gives me nostalgic memories of me there now I’m in my country and I still miss Australia
I'm Australian by birth, and in 2017 I remarried and now live in Mindanao Philippines with my wife who is a native tribeswoman of the Higaonon tribe from Bukidnon in Northern Mindanao. The Yawuru language is Austronesian like the languages here in the Philippines, so the sound of it is familiar to me. I love this song so much that I am introducing my wife and family here to it, and even took the time to translate it into the local language, Binisaya, known as "Cebuano" on Google Translate. Here is my translation, which of course does include some paraphrasing of the English words. When I showed this to my wife, she said it is wonderful poetry. How right she is! No matter what language it is in, it's a stirrer of spirits. Why this song has not replaced the current National Anthem I can never work out. The truth is that we never sing more than one verse of that one, because the other two verses, well, they have their problems for a number of reasons. There is absolutely no problem with any of the words in this great song, on the other hand!
Lately I've not been very patriotic and proud to be Australian, but this song always makes me proud to say 'i am Australian' this has to be our national anthem. Sung in this language and English. God bless Australia.
Everytime I listen to this ad In the ad break I get Goosebumps as I am so proud to be Australian Couldn’t be In any better Country sometimes it gives me happy tease. My family would start sining it as they couldn’t be happier either..!
I am not aboriginal, (but am an Aussie) hearing this song sung in the first nations language is very special, makes this song feel even more complete. Got emotional over it. ❤️❤️❤️
If we look at the comments on this video the chorus is spot on especially, "we are one, but we are many and from ALL the lands on earth we come", any new Australians or future Australians should be extremely proud to call this great land home. For new Australians welcome home.
This song perfectly represents not just Indigenous Australians or European Australians, but ALL Australians that live, work and thrive in our beautiful country of ours. Make it our National Anthem.
i love australia so much but i cant bare to see it disappear from all of the fires in NSW. I will also be leaving this beautiful-and-home country to my second home--- New Zealand
This is lovely. We should all get to know the many languages we have in our Nation and what they represent and enjoy our many varieties of music and food. From the US in 2020
I remember learning this song in Noongar language when I was in year 3. Still remember it by heart today. Such a powerful song to stay with me for so long

@@jjosephs6521 Our national anthem is actually the worst sounding anthem there is, it blows
Yeah it should
This version is so beautiful, showing the diversity and all the big smiles. I love it so much, and the message that everyone is Australian no matter your background brings us together.
There should be a full-length version of this as I think this is the best version I have heard.

Usa kita, apan daghang kita
Usa kita, apan daghang kita
Usa kita, apan daghang kita
