I don’t know, I kind of think Blackrock is buying them all up and letting them sit empty. Or maybe it’s foreiners buying investment properties and letting them sit empty. I saw something fishy going on in our old neighborhood which was an upscale gated community. There used to be lots of cars and people coming and going in 2006 when I first moved there but by 2017 the neighborhood felt like a ghost town. It was weird.
