Excellent, like always! It was great to see how you accommodate 3 purposes in a small space - so hard to do well. I love how you used black in the foyer and powder room. Most designers describe, but you teach as well. Impeccable taste. Thank you!
I love your architectural intelligence you are so creative you truly transform this place into a much more interesting and elegant home I love your style
These videos just get better and better! I can certainly relate to having a builder-grade house, then, moving in and “doing my thing” to make it my own (replacing the light fixtures, etc). Of course, “doing my thing” is different from Miriam Manzo doing her “thing”. Totally love those glass front cabinets. She is so talented! I can’t wait for her video on millwork, trim, crown molding, and more!
Thank you very much to share this beautiful Townhouse apartment . I like the transformation you did to the kitchen , a look beautiful , and also the entire apartment . I love the wallpaper and half a bathroom.🥰
This space is exquisite. So much thoughtful detail. The use of black is elegant and not overused. Black is usually very dark, but the floors and repeat use of white, extra lighting (e.g., the china cabinet) open up the space and make it brighter. I love this. I am now officially addicted to your channel. Beautiful. ps: the one nit (sorry) the white plastic in the closet probably could have been upgraded. Wood hangars or those black velvet ones from Costco. The hamper is an eyesore. Maybe a white linen basket or some other fabric but not plastic. yikes.
This is beautiful not only for a bachelor but for everybody. It is very elegant and classy. It is incredible how can you change a small thing and the result it is a big splurge! Bravo! And thank you for sharing! Merry Christmas Miriam!🎅🎄
Very nice. I love how you incorporate everything. Question: When you decide to paint black on cabs and doors, what’s your go to black? I think? I would have loved to see drapery in the sitting room adjacent to the kitchen. Thank you so much! You are so unselfish, wanting to share your ideas and ways to help others. ❤️
I would love to see how you decorate for the holidays and can you do a video on faux fur throws and your thoughts on them. I purchased a Rachel Zoe and Nicole miller faux fur throws and they were terrible lots of shedding on sofa and my clothes I got rid of them very disappointing. Thank you.
Gorgeous! My faves: the black and bronze choice, the marble mozaic floors, the light above the island, the kitchen coffee corner nook, the wall paneling, the foyer closest, the half bath and the custom color wood floors. Dislikes: the white cheap looking window blinds. What happened? 😳
Your videos are amazing! Just one comment on something I notice in all your videos! The cameraman focuses on you the whole time however it would be good to see more of a pan of the room while your voice speaks over time to time.. I noticed you mentioning things that we can't see in the frame.
Beautiful and very class!! One suggestion is to please have the camera person pan the entire room. You kept referring to parts of the room we never saw. Looking forward to the video on panel moulding.
Miriam. I just love everything about your channel and the elegance you exude. You are #goals. Your poise is unmatched! Thanks for sharing and teaching us. I hope you have a happy holiday & new year. (I can't wait for the video on the wall molding)
Hello Miriam, can you please link up the small white wall cabinet in the foyer? I want to CB2 and it is not there online? Thanks and happy new year!🎆🎊🎈
Miriam, not to be a negtive ninny, but the background music sometimes drowns out your narration. Perhaps whomever is editing the video can adjust the background volume. Just a suggestion. Loved what you did with the flooring and the color of the custom stain. This may be one of the smaller homes but it would work so well for myself and 2 cats ;) Thank you for sharing!
8:24 you mention that you put cabinet doors over the electrical panel. I am a licensed home inspector, and I can tell you that nothing should be covering the electric panel. If there is an electrical fire, someone unfamiliar with the home wouldn't know how to access the panel to shut off the circuit breakers. Hazard!
Black kitchens aren't for everyone, of course. But Miriam's design is very elegant and chic. And while the space certainly is dramatic, there are enough light elements to keep things balanced. And the handsome look of it flows nicely with the style of other spaces in the home. Her work here is a great success imo, but to each his own.
Totally understand, I figured changing the fronts to black was the best compromise assuming that a full redo of the kitchen wasn’t an option. Maybe a darker grey would have been lighter but I think that would skew the style to the wrong side of traditional? I *personally* would rather ripoff the uppers and have open shelves (though I’m not a fan of those either) than all black cabinets and nix the china cabinet and use that as pantry storage if needed, but I also personally can’t afford an apartment with a dishwasher so who the hell am I? 🤣
The entrance and kitchen are nice however, the bedroom feels disconnected from the rest of the design. As well, the second bathroom is less luxe. I was also wondering why you hung such big towels in the powder room on the main floor? One thing that is important with any interior design is the flow of spaces into each other....................they don't all have to look the same but there needs to be continuity........which I thought was missing 😐😬 Adding some beautifully large green plants in the living room would have made it more cozy as well. Loved the mouldings though!
Black and white and Blah all over..... this "style" is about 30 years old now and has been out of style for at least 10 years . This 'lux style' has made it all the way down to cheap tract homes and apartments so it no longer has any design weight. I dont understand why people are still going for this look. and why "designers" are still pushing it.
Total glam! I absolutely love it. A true Classic in every way with a nice mix of modern. Not easy to achieve on a budget. Done with excellence! BRAVO!!!!!
I had problems with sound. Background music interfered with presentation. Her voice sounded like it was coming through a very bad speaker. Could barely hear it.

Pretty inspiring to see an extremely bare, builder grade finish home transform into having the elements it ended up with. Deserves kudos.
What a difference interior designer makes. Can’t wait for that paneling video!
Miriam Manzo = Midas touch
Beautiful. More small spaces please!
One of my very favorite designer.
Can't wait to see your video on molding!
Really looking forward to your video about panel moulding! Thank you

Fantastic design tips, thanks Miriam. Your style is so elegant and lux, and I love it. The bonus tips for designing on a budget are incredibly useful.

I second this! Please share the source for the floral wallpaper. Thank you!

Where did you get the wallpaper in the bathroom. Love it. Beautiful place in all. Thank you for sharing...
Just stunning townhouse! Could you please tell me where you purchased the kitchen chandelier over the island!
Hello. The manufacturer is eurolite

Beautiful luxury home!
You are very talented!
Gorgeous
I love your style in dress

I love this townhouse, love what you have done to it. You are lovable.
Gorgeous!! I love everything in this upgrade, your style is so me❤️ i would love to know how much this upgrade costs approxmately?
Hi. Approx 150,000
Always great video, wondering where you get most of your lighting from?
Hello. We shop many sources including online retailers and in stores
Hello, what is the name of the black paint color? I really like the richness in the black cabinets, and the foyer.
Hello Miriam, can you please link up the small white wall cabinet in the foyer? I want to CB2 and it is not there online? Thanks and happy new year!🎆🎊🎈

Please share where did you purchase the flower wallpaper in the powder room?
Etsy
Beautiful wallpaper in the bathroom. Do you have a link? Thanks!
She says it was from Etsy❤
Can you do one in a small courtyard, please?
Cute
Merry Christmas from Australia
Hello. What’s the wall color white you used for this house and black color cabinets?
Beautiful
Can you please share the source for the powder room wallpaper? Thank you.
Etsy
Great ideas 🔥
What colour paint did you use in the foyer?
Beautiful ❤️
Love it❤️
Beautiful and elegant! Would it be possible to give a rough budget dollar number on something like this for reference?
My client spent roughly C$150,000 including the lighting, painting and flooring
What colour are the walls on the main floor
Not enough in the budget to disguise the wire in the bedroom floor next to where you were seated? Nor decor for the 3rd fl bathroom? 😮
WOW!

Never have liked a black kitchen, just seems dark.
It sucks

That kitchen upgrade was GENIUS!! IMPECCABLE!!!!!
Black IS dark. To the people who like it that’s the appeal.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Something is wrong with the sound
I feel trying to make small space luxury is not practical. It takes away the storage. Maybe only me have too many household stuff.
She says that making a small space luxury IS about strategic and ample storage!!! ❤
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Your video has no sound
No color? 🙃
Too much dark cabinetry. I think always using two colors of the same cabinets is more interesting.

The choice is easy, simply don't choose this color combo for YOUR home 🤷🏾♀️
@@josephinebournes8212 Exactly!! We're watching her videos and she gets the work from clients she must be doing something right.
I do not like the bathroom light fixture- doesn't match the aesthetic of the home.
Too dark for a kitchen.
Nothing fancy, this looks pretty Basic and lack of colors makes it unbearable.
Good but not perfect
Depressing.
Total glam! I absolutely love it. A true Classic in every way with a nice mix of modern. Not easy to achieve on a budget. Done with excellence! BRAVO!!!!!
@@jamesscherrer1642 I agree
I don't like microwaves tucked below the counters. It's something we use all the time, and sight level seems more obvious and practical a choice.
