- The Most Interesting Grave Ever and More at Calvary Cemetery. Today, we are at Calvary Cemetery in Evanston, Illinois to check out what I feel is one of that most beautiful graves I've ever seen. We will also visit baseball pioneer Charles Comiskey and a few others. The main purpose of this video is to show you the grave of Joseph "Josie" Lyon, who came from a well off family, son to George and Catherine Lyon. His father George was co-founder of Lyon and Healy Music company which produced harps and is still in business today. Joseph passed away as a child and by the thought that went into this grave, you can see that his family loved him dearly. I will tell you what I know of his story as well as a few other notables around Calvary Cemetery.

The sculpture may have been copied from his photohraph. I say this because of the pose, the accutremont, etc. It may have been a "ringer" which took a great deal of talent and skill. I speak as a Victorian photo nut and sculptor.

Creepy? Sad anyone could think that. If you'd lost your child (I wish that on no one), id hope you want to remember them in the most spectacular way. I see most likely, a grieving mother who loved her son so much.
THERE ARE SO MANY STORIES OF A PARENT'S LOVE FOR THEIR CHILD BEYOND THE GRAVE AND THE WAY THEY MEMORIALIZE THEM AFTER DEATH. THE MOST UNIQUE AND MAYBE ONE OF THE SADDEST IS THAT OF ROSALIA LOMBARDO WHOSE PARENTS HAD HER FOREVER PRESERVED AS A MUMMY AFTER SHE DIED OF PNEUMONIA.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
