- Today's video 'Searching for Sydney's BEST Pork Roll!' we're doing something a little different, it's a food review but instead of one place, we're covering 3! So it's a longer video, but it's a good one. (Chapters available below!)
Today's video, it's all about pork rolls and crispy pork with sticky rice (third place ran out of pork rolls), we're putting the doner kebabs aside for a moment and going down the pork roll route. Now in Sydney there's a whole lot of pork roll places, we're focusing on some of the more popular ones.
1st is in Homebush West.
2nd is in Top Ryde.
3rd is in Marrickville.

Other great video mate. Keep up the good work!
thanks Brad!
The Top Ryde one looked amazing. Good reviews Addrian.
@@GiuseppeBasile thanks bro. Appreciate it. 🙏 what do you think about this longer form format do you like it?
@@Addrian. yeah the longer format is good. As you mentioned if you’re comparing the same food it works out well. Shorter format for one off food items or restaurants works as well.
Can't go past Top Ryde Baker's House, on another level altogether!
broo, so good! Absolutely hectic. Gotta go again sometime.
@@AlexCimmaronBS Looking forward to trying this.
Aussie pork rolls not traditional Viet rubbish compared to Bankstown bogan roll no patte no chilli beetroot on a pork roll you may as well get tomatoe sauce and cheese should got a hot dog 😅😅
@@user-rj2wj4tj9w it needs the pate otherwise it ain't complete!
@@user-rj2wj4tj9w is there such thing as Aussie pork rolls? Hahaha. Though honestly the beetroot and onion go hard. And the beetroot is an extra. I personally liked it. The crispy pork is the hero ingredient tho dead set.
In my pork Bun I would like caramalised onions, crispy pork belly, rich pork gravy and apple sauce yummy, the second roll does look good though with salad
That sounds crazzzy good! Is there any places that put pork gravy and apple sauce?! I've gotta go!
Second place was really good Nadia, definitely recommend!
marrickville pork roll, hands down!
@@nevaagen5877 which one you recommend?.
its on illawara road but its more close on the corner of illawarra road and marrickville road. its always busy during lunch hours, theres always a lineup everyday, i ‘quote’ everyday!! so i suggest go after hours.. their meatballs are also awesome. they have opened a second store in the city cbd but the original store is better, their city store isnt that great for some reason. hope you get to check it out and enjoy!! 😊
@@nevaagen5877 thanks for that recommendation! I'll put in the notes of recommendations! Appreciate it!
Davelle’s Bakery Epping and Hot Lim’s Eastwood 🔥🔥🔥
@@percy333 I'll put it on the list! Thanks Percy.
@@Addrian. No worries mate loving your honest reviews and humble UA-cam beginnings. Gonna be sampling some quality kebabs soon because of your reviews! Looking forward to it 🤤
@@percy333 really appreciate that. Means a lot. If you go German food bunker let Peter know you saw my videos. He'll look after you!
Hong Ha Mascot.
@@stephenericwalsh I'll put it on my list for Part 2. Thank you Steph.
@@Addrian. It gets a queue. It’s up there with the best. But not necessarily the best. Pretty old school but solid.
@@stephenericwalsh I'll be sure to check it out. If it gets a queue must be pretty good.
Bankstown there's Two mad ones where the viets play checkers and chess🤙it was in the telegraph and Manu even promoted one in Sydney/Bankstown bites check it out they both right next to each other 🤫
Is it the Banh Mi Bay Ngo Bankstown in the Plaza? Ill have to check it out.
@@Addrian. On the Viet side they are there's a few but recommend them two and maybe the one near five star chicken give them all a shot very well known and rated in viet community especially the two down the bottom were they gamble on checkers n chess 🤙🇲🇹🇭🇲
Have you heard of le’ss bakery in Campbelltown ? Best I’ve ever had
Oh never heard of it! I'll have to save it and check it out! Thanks for the recommendation Chris!
Seriously a Banh mi doesn’t have beetroot nor red onion on it mate. And if you are going to judge them they must all be the same thing. Part teh is a must. What a toser and the best come from Botany Rd Mascot
@@trishcutting4454 each to their own. No need for name calling Trish, red onions are something I enjoy and these are / can be add ons.
