I know Monique of Mo MakeupMoBeauty bought all three palettes. I picked up the Ambient Lighting Vol. III. I am on the fence about the Unlocked palette because of the bronzer. I would've liked for them to have given us a deeper bronzer in a new shade. Both palettes cost the same but the deeper one has only three new powders. I feel kind of meh about that. I think I'm going to hold out and buy the blushes as singles if the opportunity arises.

I have the same skintone as you I think I prefer the darker palette on you more. In the lighter palette, the blushes looked really beautiful on you, but the other powders were too shimmery, I think. I’m leaning towards the darker one, for myself. All the shades in that one looked great on you. Your review was very helpful! Thanks.

The Unlocked palette looks like it's tailored for more golden undertones and medium/tan and deeper skintones, which for Hourglass powder products seems to be anything NC30 and above.
That pink "coral" blush does look coral on you - onscreen at least - so maybe they do know what they were talking about after all~ hard to make anything look bad on u!

Yeah I agree but the palette Gracie showed was very glittery I thought I have quite a few drinks Hourglass products especially the ambient lighting powder.🥰
🙌🏼 I agree that some of their powders are excellent for more mature skin - especially for uneven skin tone - just steering clear of anything with strobe powders for me 😁❤️

Try Japanese squirrel makeup brushes, especially powder and blush brushes. They are expensive, but the way they pick up and distribute pigment is very natural and well-blended.
I liked the Unlocked side, think I’ll be getting that one. I too love their finishing powders on my mature dry skin. Have you’ve tried any Lancome foundations?New subscriber.💖
I will buy hourglass next year when hopefully I will b done with last years palettes which I bought on full freakin price.

The one on the right is gorgeous on you. I have the quad released back in 2020 and it’s beautiful. I’m thinking of getting a new one but I don’t ‘NEED’ a new one. Do you think the shelf life really is only 12 months? Or is it a marketing thing

When you say "this one" and/or "that one" you lose some of us. It isn't clear which is which. But I did eventually figure out that the Unlocked is on the left side of your face.

🤔Great question - I would have to say that of all of the face palettes I've purchased, if the shades are good for me, then it would have to be Hourglass. I've used them the most. Their powders are just so special ❤️

I bought one of the Edit palettes a few years ago after hearing so many recommendations for blurring on mature skin. This was before Chantecaille released their blur powder. The Hourglass palette looked too shiny/glowy/shimmery on my oilier skin and emphasized texture. I should try and get more use from it, but I will probably declutter it. Waste of money for me. I’d even prefer Dior Meteorites over the Hourglass.if someone has dry, overly matte skin it probably works for them.
🌟Oh yes - Chantecaille Blur Powder is the gold standard for me too 🙌🏼 But it was nice to revisit the Hourglass finishing powders - which I'm glad to have tried again. It's a different finish for sure - but one I still love ❤️ Thank you for sharing your experience with it 🌟
