Maybe hourglass should start letting us build our own palettes. I want the blushes from the second but the bronzer from the first.

I'm so porcelain and I just really end up using a lot of these as eyeshadow
I would really love to build my own pallette especially at about $100 a pallette ( which I don't mind whatsoever lol)

I was planning on getting the lighter palette but seeing how the infinity powder looks on the skin, now I'm sure.
Sharing a trick I learned for making a too dark blush work for my fair skin : Dip in your setting powder lightly, then dip in the blush.
I’m going with the darker one too. Thanks for the tip, I have light skin, I’ll be trying that out

So true! I am fair-medium skin tone and I love my radiant bronzer. I already stopped buying Nars since the Hourglass came out. They blend so flawlessly and buildable coverage!xo

I’m so glad that you did that side by side demo! I already ordered the light one on Sephora using rewards, and now I see that I can also order this darker one because I love darker blushes and you look beautiful on both sides of your face. Thank you
I use these in a slightly different order, and I get a great blend. I don’t use the finishing powder until after I’ve applied the bronzer and blush; I then buff the finishing powder all over my entire face. If I’m using a highlighter, depending on how metallic it is, I may add it before I buff or may add it afterwards. I don’t use the finishing powder to set my face; if my foundation hasn’t dried down -or if you’re someone who always sets foundation regardless of dry down - I would recommend using a true setting powder for that step and not these. Lastly, for the blushes that are more pigmented, try grabbing the finishing powder and blush on your brush together and buffing them onto your cheek; it will keep the integrity of the blush shade but it’s more diffused on the skin.
So glad you did this. You explain them so well. Sometimes the names get me all crazy.

I am so excited for this review but I am stuck on how gorgeous your eye makeup is! That brown with the gold/green. My god! I must have that eye shadow pallet!
I am always tempted by a beautiful Hourglass face palette. I have last year's and just happened to pull it out a couple of days ago as I was "shopping my stash" as the saying goes. I was reminded as I did that I do not need to buy any more makeup!!! But boy do I want to especially this time of year when all the holiday stuff comes out.
The lighter one on you is absolutely beautiful. I’ve been eyeing it since it was announced but the price really makes me hesitant with 5 compared to last years six. Love your videos. I’m relatively new to your channel but you’ve become one of my faves ❤️

Thank you for this video. Every year I am enamored by their palettes. This was a really good demo! I am just a smidge darker than your skin tone and I thought that the darker palette looked great on you! The darker blush made your cheekbones look sharper, while the lighter palette was more of a diffused look. Since I am currently into dark blushes, you helped me choose which one I am going to get!

Finally they come out with a palette I can use. I’ll be picking up the deeper one! I’m an NC42. They never had face palettes I could use. Will be purchasing this one!

I was so happy Hourglass released a darker face palette!! Since I really love Hourglass blushes I buy the Ambient Lighting holiday palettes every year except last year because it was too light. Radiant bronze Light looks very good on me but I don't sculpt. I wish there was more variety in the blush colors of the deep palette. They look kinda similar. They both look pretty on you! Great review!!

I hear you on the value of the 6 pan palette; however, I have a feeling I’ll prefer this style. I normally skip the powder in the palettes because of the size. I can’t stick my Sonia G brush in there without picking up the adjacent powders.
I was considering the lighter palette but not so sure, I wish the larger pan were a better cover up, with no shine, I wanted to use it as a finishing powder, but it comes off as more of a highlight. Thank you for this review. Gorgeous as always.

So glad you got both of these! I'm an NC25 and I actually like the deeper palette more. I thought it looked stunning on you!! I really do wish though that they would come out with all new shades. Don't they realize they would sell more that way? We all have the existing shades 1,000 times over!

Oh, I actually like the packaging! I am tempted to buy the ligt one, but probably will keep myself back. I ´ve got their Dim Light powder, hardly used over the years, because I found it quite heavy for my oily skin, it gets me look oily sooner, which I don´t like. Thanks for the video!

Honestly, I think I could go either way with either palette and I like elements of both. My skin tone is Light Medium. I don't know what that translates to in the NC, I probably should find out as so many UA-camrs seem to reference that. I personally like the large pan for the finishing powder. I've had the first Unlocked palette that I believe released in 2018 and the first shade I hit pan on was the first finishing powder in the palette. Thanks for reviewing so quickly.
