I like to think the scene between Vel and Cinta is to show how different their causes are. Cinta is doing it for vengeance, she’s so absorbed by it that she’s completely missing the other part of the rebellion--to bring hope, to help people, to save the ones you love. Vel is begging her to “step away from the window”, from their immediate goal, from that rage and anger, to be with *her* for a moment, to cherish what they *do* have.
@middlemann8 And when Cinta said "it's not mine" about the blood like it was nothing, she let through just how ruthless she really was and that definitely scared Vel. They're building Cinta up as this type of "there are monsters on our side too" character, like if she had to gun down Vel to hurt the Empire, she wouldn't even blink, and I'm here for it
@@pabloc8808 I didn’t even realize this. And here I was rooting for everything cinta was doing 😂
Vel is as much a mirror for Cinta as Cinta is for Vel. As much as she doesn’t think she needs it, Vel reminds Cinta of her humanity and the good things she can still have even amongst the struggle.
@@roachies4242 Oh no I'm 100% with her so far, she's ruthless just like Luthen and that's necessary, but I think she's gonna let her hatred get in the way and will do something real bad both for the cause and for the people she's with
Good observation, think you're absolutely right
Mon Mothma was playing her driver. She started that argument with her husband about his gambling and money to help cover the fact of her money troubles with funding the rebellion. She knew the driver would be listening in and reporting back and that this would be a perfect excuse for large sums of money either missing or moved around. She could then easily blame her husband's gambling habits as the cause.
Yep, and she doesn't like her husband. So this is a nice way to get rid of him, and she can withdraw that 400.000 credits.
Yeah it was part of the plan of the „gangsta“ she allready agreed to him
@@kruimels I don’t think Empire would give a shit about his gambling issue
@@madtitan0825 they don’t it just gives an excuse for why her money is missing
@@dekulruno yeah I agree, don’t get me wrong Mon’s husband is an idiot but I’m just a bit confused why others think they can get rid of him with this
“You always say that”
“And you always come through”
Bruh i didn’t realise a droid could make me tear up like that
That last line to B2 is one of my favorite lines in the series. Here B2 has been in some ways neglected and hurt the whole series. But then in that moment Andor treated him so well and said exactly what B2 needed to hear. Beautiful. Love it.
Cassian's arc in the first season was to start as a shifty loner, to a true friend and leader.
Probably the best Star Wars ever made, and easily one of the best shows of 2022.
A really strong contender for one of the best shows, ever. Easily in the top 10 of all time (if one excludes popularity as a metric).
Yup. I can no longer call The Clone Wars the best Star Wars media
Yeah it's my top now. My top used to be Empire Strikes Back or Clone Wars Season 7 finale. But now it's Andor. Its soooooooo Good.
I think we can all agree that Maarva's speech ruled, but what got me choked up were her last words to Cassian.
"Tell him I love him more that anything he could ever do wrong."
You can say you love someone more than anything else in the world, you can say you will love them no matter what they do - but this phrasing made it extra clear.
Regarding age, I think it was great that Nemik and Maarva, on had did young and one died old, but both inspire people even from beyond the grave. So, it was great to have speeches from both in the episode about resisting the empire.
Imagine if they ever got to meet, they'd be the best of friends
The score during the band marching.....leading to Maarva's speech.....during Maarva's speech it ramped up urgently.....just goose bumps galore during her speech. So powerful. One of the top 5 most powerful moments ever in SW on screen, any media....
From a military point of view, they switched from a funeral march to a battle march.
Best use of diegetic music in Star Wars, though the cantina band being like “oh, fight’s over, back to business.”
Cassian literally building the weapon that will soon disintegrate him and he is ultimately dying to destroy is the most poetic shit
And... I understand the image Luke has in the whole Star Wars canon, but let´s face it: Cassian Andor, Galen and Jyn Erso, Luthien and Mon Mothma are the true heros of the saga =D
@@Sawyer1982OAC The thing is, the Rebellion might not have needed Luke to finish the job had the Empire not been literally been headed by space wizards who crush everything in their path. Vader killed countless rebels who could've filled the shoes Luke eventually did had they been Force sensitive or given more time to hone their skills. Andor just goes to show us that Luke would've never had the chance to blow up the Death Star and decapitate the Empire without the countless ordinary beings who sacrificed so much to get him there, and conversely that they needed him to hammer the final nail in the Empire's coffin.
@@TheVirtualObserver Or, you know...they could've just done a better job calibrating their targeting computers. I mean...WE have more accurate systems than that thing.
The main problem with our modern targeting systems is that we pick the wrong targets...not that they aren't accurate.
I always hated that part of ANH. And I'm always going to.
Edit: Otherwise I agree with pretty much everything both of you said. Wanted to make sure I got that cleared up.
@@Sawyer1982OAC Nemik, Maarva, Lt. Gorn, Tamaryn, Lani... I love how they painted a picture of so many inspiring rebels. They WILL be remembered. I think part of the reason this show is so refreshing is that when we were kids we could imagine what we would be the Jedi in the story.... but as adults we identify more with realistic and heroic figures that have ordinary powers and human weaknesses along with it. So inspiring.
Nobody who went to Ferrix to find Andor actually sees Andor except Luthen at the very end.
And the Empire is there to find "the rebellion", and mostly ignore the actual rebellion happening literally right in front of them.
Andor was literally building the same weapon that would kill him later.
Или Андор сыграл одну из главных ролей в уничтожении этого оружия.
Only to also be part of the effort that ultimately destroys it.
That's some serpent-devouring-it's-own-tail shit right there.
Hat trade thing = they can recognize each other in a crowd easily if they get split up and shit gets crazy.
Nope. Syril isn't happy with his hat and his best bud knows he's unhappy and gives him the hat he probably wanted. Syril puts it on and is happy. Goes to his clothing nature and it's hilarious.
@@artboymoy I mean people do this when joining protests. I swap jackets with my friend to recognize each other easier. It's easier to recognize your own clothes than someone else's
@@MM-vs2et That may be true, but if you watch the scene, Syril is just picking at the hat in his lap. He is clearly unhappy. Mosk knows he'd rather have his hat and the scene plays out. All my jackets look like everyone else's jacket, so I would find it kind of a weak tactic. Better to set up a meeting place for when stuff goes down. And if you wear clothing that sticks out in a protest or riot, then its easier for surveillance to pick you out to arrest you later.
Nice! imma add that to the protest in my book now thanks ^^
@@artboymoy Well there's other options. Some of my friend wear scarves. Recently masks became distinct. My jacket and his is not that distinct too, but we wear it all the time and recognize it from a mile a way. And if we're gonna riot, which almost never happens, we'd be more prepared than just simply switching outfits. I think Syril, or maybe a more veteran Mosk have experience dealing with protests/riots, them being security and all, and one of them suggested to do this. Andor is way too deep of a show for a simple gesture like that to simply mean Syril doesn't like his hat.
Alright, forget what I said earlier about Andor being the best Star Wars since Empire, this series is the best Star Wars since ever.
Even the OG trilogy can't hold a candle to it, now.
This finale was breathtaking !
I literally couldn't breath for the latter half of the episode !
The entire series is such a rare example of storytelling that stayed cohesive through and through to the end ! Setting up multiples plots with different characters, with everyone still alive all converging into an explosive finale.
It should become a new textbook case of storytelling in the future. I'd totally see entire classes given about filmmaking just based on this series.
Notice how stormtroopers actually hit things
Agreed. You could use this masterpiece to teach about cinematography, screenwriting, acting, storyboarding you name it. It's incredible. It's a shame that some people won't like it because it's not "Happy" or there aren't many fights or jedi etc. It's such an incredible slice of time in the Star Wars universe. So artfully and powerfully portrayed.
I LOVE that the last part of Nemik's manifesto says "TRY". Remember Yoda's "Do or Do Not There is No Try" Sounds wise... it really is wise if instructing a Jedi. But I love this concept in Andor that is clearly illustrated by Nemik's words. It won't be one huge moment of certainty that will break the empire but "little acts of insurrection" that will ultimately break the dam. Without the actions of individuals rebels and rebel groups, the alliance never forms and is never ready for an attack on Scarif or for that matter a coordinated run on the Death Star so that Luke can destroy it. This glimpse into the sacrifices of Nemik, Gorn, Bix, Sal, Tamaryn, Luthen, Mon, Kino, other prisoners on Narkina 5, Cassian, Brasso, so many of Ferrix. It really makes the rebellion human. Andor and it's themes ENRICH Rogue One which ENRICHES the Old Trilogy. I love it so much.
The scenes with Vel and Cinta show how the revolution is straining their relationship. To Vel, Cinta is the only good thing she can turn to in this crazy galaxy and Cinta can't return the attention because to her the mission comes first. That look that Vel gives Cinta regarding the blood on her hands screams "I don't see the girl I used to love, all I see is a cold-blooded killer".
Cinta to me looks like the show trying to say that both sides can have monsters. She's as ruthless as Luthen, willing to sacrifice anything, only her motivation is worse. She's not fighting the Empire for freedom and hope, she's fighting out of sheer hatred.
@@pabloc8808 cinta is like a female Saw Gerrera in that regards then. Both characters simply fight the empire out of rage and hatred for it, and not for a different ideal.
Your reaction to the scene of the anvil ringer and the stormtrooper was the same as mine. The trooper climbed all those stairs just to be booted out the window.
It was a "THIS IS FERRIX!!!" moment aka "The 300". 😄
I thought he’d at least get the mandalorian treatment with the hammers but the kick works😂
@@eclipped Well, as the wise would say, why use many move when one move do trick
The "Defenestration of Ferrix"!
Mama Andor died in peace and flipped the Empire the bird from beyond the grave. Not many rebels will be that lucky.
8:20 - "Cassian is getting radicalized by a podcast." lmao
LOL
Yeah, Dedra and Syril have been such terrible people in this show, lacking in all human warmth, that the other day I saw them both being interviewed together and acting like normal people, smiling and joking around, and it was really jarring. Great job by both actors.
@@joegreene7619 i genuinely want to understand how syril was a "monster" in this show lmao
And the mountain man beard he was sporting!
@@thealpharouge he did not portray himself as a monster, but definitely showed himself to be crazy in the way he expressed himself to Dedra, which I would even say is the beginning of him perhaps becoming a monster.
@@thealpharouge He wants "order" but he can't follow a single order from higher ups. He's told not to go after Cassian because Cassian was defending himself from cops who were doing things they shouldn't. He does all of this anyway and 12 more men die under his watch and his entire company gets cannibalized in the process. He did this cause what he really wanted was to feel powerful. He'll bend the rules as he sees fit to get it done and he'll blame others for his fuck up.
I'm hoping Syrill and Dedra defect in season 2. Love will open their eyes.
When the post credit scene went together, I just applauded. It was just wow.
I missed it. Had to go out. Dammit.
I felt like hell when it didn't register right away that we were listening to Nemik's voice.
10:48 ... the brutality of that line is that in shows and movies, our heroes never get to hear that line directly. It's always too late.
I'm a Mama's boy since she was the only one to raise me. I'm happy to learn that my Holidays and Birthdays were because of her amazing efforts. Because of her love.
Maarva's epic final words were a gigantic middle finger to the Empire!! I loved it!
"FIGHT the Empire!"
The actor playing Anvil guy is Niel Bell. That is bloody perfect.
The escape ship is the same ship Cassian uses in the first episode.
Same location too, which is why Cassian knew where to go. Sloppy of Luthen honestly.
I was talking about the ship that Brasso, Bix and the others used to escape. Not sure if Luthen was sloppy, maybe that was his Ace in the Hole if Cassian escaped the Imperials. You could see on his face that Maarva's speech told him even more about who Cassian was/is, because she helped raise him.
@@richardyoung3462 Gotcha. My mistake.
Great finale. It tied up several things neatly, and that ceremony was so powerful and immersive (you can't possibly fully feel it with just one earbud in).
Vel is hurting because Cinta is all cold business, much more than Luthen. He looked so burdened, as he witnessed that slaughter. I think drunk "Tweedledum" will become a rebel because of the brutality he saw. And I think Cassian or Bix gets B2One the K2 body we see in Rogue One.
I'm seeing in Andor a showcase of each of the many different types of people in a rebellion, their drivers, how they came to rebellion, and how it affects each of them. Even though Vel and Cintra didn't directly contribute much, it's as much a character study as it is a story of rebellion.
With regard to your Empire discussion, consider Dedra just experienced EXACTLY what Syril did... literally in the same place. She's gonna get canned and they will have common ground in failure.
I doubt she's canned. Maybe demoted. She drilled down and found something for sure. All of Ferrix mostly anyway are rebels so the Empire will they will raze it to the ground etc.
What's crazy is Denise Gough is a theater actor and I can't imagine her being on a stage doing a play. Unless it's a really SERIOUS play.
Mosk offeres his hat to Syril because Mosk's hat is orange. Orange features on the hat was the color of command in their old job. Mosk was acknowledging that he still considered Syril his commander.
Cinta was supposed to be looking for Andor, but she was actually stalking the Imperial spy. She was more interested in killing an Imperial than doing her assigned job. I'm certain she killed the hostages.
Andor runs concurrently with the first two seasons of Star Wars: Rebels, which is essentially about the slow path of rebel factions to coalescence to a Rebel Alliance. It has had some crossover references with Rebels already, and Mon Mothma appears in Rebels as well.
I called it last episode that Bee had Maarva's last words and still wasn't ready for it
Centa is on a revenge mission. "Step away from the window".... Was come here for a minute. Centra isn't in it to make a future. She's contrast to Andor finding something bigger than himself. It's all about her rage. It definitely is going somewhere.
Talking about B2... I low key think that in some fundamental way B2 is K2. Like his programming was uses to hack a K unit. Imagine the enhanced emotional punch when K2 sacrifices himself to save cassian.
Ugh just break my heart why don't you? Now I gotta rewatch Rogue One to see if K2 ever stutters.
@@roseford5536 IMO he wouldn't, pretty sure that was a result of his failing power system.
I dont see that at all. The personality of those two droids is nothing alike, they dont share any traits.
@@omegastar19 Agreed. They won't share circuits probably not.
Love that Maarva got a lick in from beyond the grave. The mighty brick of the revolution~~~
Yes, Imperials do have better aim, it's almost like these Rebels don't have plot armor and are facing actual combat troops as they should be shown lol. Andor does a great job of showing a competent Empire, the morally grey things you do to fight them, and the heavy losses you will take.
I think Cirrut's Final March in Rogue One demonstrated that the Force is conscious and makes decisions of who it will protect and for how long.
I think the music the marching bands are playing are all the parts from the opening credits.
100%. When that scene hit and I realized the theme song was diegetic… I mean, come on.
The theme song has been the score in every episode but in different orchestrations to set the tone...another brilliant detail
I feel like Maarva would be pretty happy to know they used her brick to crack Imperial skulls.
18:07 Had the same thought ("Batman v Superman") and I think the comparison is intentional. It demonstrates Vel's bravery and her love for Cynta, that she runs *in to* the destruction while most are running away.
They exchange hats so that later they'll be able to recognize each other in a crowd. Old spycraft trick.
I'm glad Syril and Deedra didn't kiss, that would have been too cheesy :)
I agree with this not being the best episode, but being everything we need to not feel left hanging. This was one of the best single seasons of any show that I can recall. Every episode was necessary. Great watching this with yall!
Yeah it hurts me to say it was the only episode I felt wasn't very strong. It's still good and the show is awesome.
@@JohnnyZenith Johnny come on.....Maarva's speech and the build up to it make it master class alone......goose bumps galore
The finale is clearly The Spark that truly lights the fire that is the rebellion.
Epsiode 10 has 5000 something prisoners escaping and spreading the word about whats happening in the prisons.
The finale has the empire loose all control and start executing citizens, shooting blind in to the crowd.
Exactly what Luthen and Maarva talked about. “We have been choked so slowly / We have been sleeping”. We as viewers know what the Empire is, but the galaxy doesn’t. The word about slave camps, executions and massacres will help the rebellion, and cause further reaction from the empire.
Honestly, have the empire ever been scarier than in Andor.
I want the overcoat that Luthen was wearing. That looked awesome. But very high-maintenance if it's made of leather.
I think Mothma knew the driver was a spy and listening and her husband wasn't gambling. She set him up big time.
You caught on quicker than me. Didn't realize that this was the true intent...to let the Empire believe that the missing money from her account was due to get husband's gambling. Wasn't until someone else mentioned this in the comments on another YT video. Honestly phenomenal writing.
Mothma had mentioned twice, once to Luthern and again to Tay, that she believed her driver was a spy.
Don't forget the greatest quote of the show.
"I can't swim"

Dude in the tower: This is... SPARTA!
This show is great for cardio, every ep got me running around the house punching the air
As for Arrielle’s question about the Empire, there’s a few things going on:
- in Rebels, which is set during the same time period of 5 BBY, we learn that in other parts of the galaxy, other undercurrents of rebellion are rising, with some organization already
- Andor shows us the some in the Empire, like Dedra are wary of organized rebel activity such as what Luthen is up to
- there’s going to be even greater push/pull between the more complacent parts of the Empire, which will rest happy after the victory at Spellhaus, and the more observant, who notice Ferrix, Aldhani, Nirvana, and the events of early Rebels that there’s shit forming
- the Emperor will also take notice and dispatch Vader and other higher ranking individuals to these outlying Esdras to try to put down this activity
- mon Mothma will indeed eventually unite the rebel factions ( I suspect we see this in season 2)
- saw will join, then leave (seen in Rebels)
- and obviously, the Death Star will be completed
That stormtrooper doing all that cardio running to the tower, then up the tight stairs only to be defenestrated 3 seconds after getting there was hilarious
This is FERRIX!
Looking forward, and what this episode means for Dedra and Syril..... I think the ISB will revert back to what it was. They got Kreegyr, and they will assume that he was Axis. Dedra's missions came to naught, and no Imperials even actually saw Cassian there at all (except the Death Trooper he shot in the face). All of their leads blew up in their faces, and Corvus- the one imperial who MIGHT have had an onground understanding of Ferrix, got knifed. Bix escaped.
So, this is a huge failure on her part. At the same time, Blevin is going down the wrong (but a promising) path with Mon Mothma, so I bet dollars to donuts that he gets promoted back up for trying to use Perrin's gambling against her. The irony will be that none of those actions will actually help, but they will all LOOK like they are helping the empire's cause.
Dedra will be disgraced, and that shared experience will bring her and Syril close. This is where I could see them going in one of two ways. I think the less likely option is that she tries to work her way back in with the ISB, but her failures hold her back. I think the more likely outcome is that both of them are now radicalized together, believe in the Empire's mission, but do not believe in the Empire's competence or ability to carry it out any more. They will then become an ultra-fascist cell that is pursuing the Rebels independently, almost like Saw's group is an ultraradical group that only sometimes works with other Rebel groups because they are too unstable. The irony will be that they are 'correct' in their analysis, but have to become radicalized in order to do anything about it. They could even end up destabilizing the empire in some way that harms it, if they go too far.
I'm probably wrong, but this is the feeling I get, keeping in mind that this show does an excellent job of showing disunited factions all ostensibly working toward a goal, and Tony Gilroy is also a fan of Mike Duncan's revolutions podcast, and factionalization of both sides is something that reoccurs over and over in his series.
And what's more...it's not even her fault...at all.
She did everything right. It fell apart because of the overzealous incompetence of the garrison commander. He's a brutalist, and her orders to let the people have their funeral but with restrictions, and to go out of their way to capture Cassian alive...went completely against not just his nature, but probably his training.
An Empire full of Dedras would've been vastly more difficult to overcome.
Syril was dedicated, and clever, but not skilled or experienced...and he explicitly fucked up. Dedra did everything right, and still failed, because the people she had to use to pull it off...were shitty at their jobs.
Loved the post credit scene
I knew of course it was Empire related but not that!
Bix and Kino Loy are sipping Mai Tais on a beach planet of 24 hour sunsets.
Syril Karn probably just landed himself a job at the ISB next season. They've already begun shooting.
Frack - that was the best star wars series ever; and better than 95% of the movies. It nearly restores my faith in Disney that they can produce good Star Wars
It felt like he was gonna use the bomb with himself along with it and seeing his eyes right before broke my heart
Cassian died in Rogue One trying to destroy the very weapon he unintentionally helped build 🥺😢
7:38 I think Vell just wanted some good lovin'💕
It's sad that Luthen was proved right about Kreegyr. He gave him up and the ISB just threw a party.
And Partagaz leaves all the pressure on Dedra's shoulders so he has a chance to not get forced into an early retirement through Yularen's orders. Partagaz isn't gonna give her the runway to do to him what they did to Blevin that easily.
@INNACCES13 Makes me think her storyline in season 2 will involve the spy.
Nerdy Nightly,
35:32 Centa's all business and no play. When she's on assignment, she's on assignment, and she stays on assignment until the mission is done. The Empire took her entire family away from her, and that's her assignment, why would she f' that up? Vel still has a family to go back to, she hasn't really lost anything...sadly, she doesn't seem to understand the woman she says she loves ='(
I personally think that the whole "step away from the window" comment is about Cinta's obsessive and vengeful nature regarding the Empire. I think they are setting up her backstory
On your closing arguments: The Empire learns from Cyril not to underestimate the Rebels.
Deedra is the “fall guy” for this debacle, as it cost the Empire so much for one person. She may be kicked out, but she and Cyril may go underground to redeem themselves, guerrilla style.
“I use the tools of my enemy….”
Cyril was there to catch Andor himself, unaware as to how many interested parties want Cassian as well. He benefited from theichaos of the Empire underestimating the people of Ferrix.
Who would have thought that "Aunt Petunia" could give such amazing monologs ?
Jesus Christ, Maarva's speech!
My question is this: Is Luthien a fallen Jedi.
One of his most treasured possessions is a khyber crystal, his ship has red lightsaber defenses, he's got that brilliant speech with the ISB mole, and his arrival at Ferix this episode had a lot of visual parallels with Maul's appearance on Tatooine.
Leia: "The more you tighten your grip, Tarkin, the more star systems will slip through your fingers. "
It looks like Deedra should be in deep _benjo,_ but I suspect she'll find a way to blame it on the Ferrix Imperial governor, who was actually in charge of security.
I'm laying a bet that by the end of season 2, both Cyril and Deedra will have both been assigned to the Death Star along with Wullf Yularen.
I think Dedra's going to join the rebellion - because there's "no way out" for her after her disastrous decisions on Ferrix.
But - I fear that she'll be handed over to Saw Guerrera - and get interrogated by Bor-Gullet ,,,, a method so poetically similar to Doctor Gorst's headphones torture.
Did anyone else catch the smirk on Mon Mothma's daughter's face when she met the boy? Not good.
Bacta Tank would be good for Bix probably, heal some of that physical damage. The mental scars will be with her for a long time to come. I also hope she gets to a respite from all the shit that is dragging in the wake of Andor. Brasso is one of my favorite surviving characters; I would ship him and Bix actually.
Bix is totallya big part of season 2. Obviously someone very close to Andor. Part of the rebellion. A major player. Probably will end sadly though .... But heroically.... Hopefully poignantly at least.
Dedra and the empire were so busy looking up (expecting Andor to be there) that they missed the attack from below.
Yesss, I also got "Bruce Wayne running into the collapse of Wayne Tower" vibes from that Vel shot!
"Allow this skimpy clothing, we do." - Master Yoda
The stormtrooper being kicked out of the tower will be made into a meme, for sure!
Small details make this show great for me. Like the kid who made the bomb wasn't going rogue. Setting off a bomb in the square was part of the plan. This show did such a great job of making everything grey. Rebellions aren't clean.
after the guy screms "OPEN FIRE", it wasa pretty smoky so i wonder if they'd know the difference if a rebel screams "CEASE FIRE"
About Vel, I agee with the emotional comments below, but also as a precaution if Cinta is being tracked by people looking through her window. Vel shouldn't be seen with Cinta so has to stay away from the window. Cinta needs to come away from the window for them to safely be together.
Ah good you saw the end bit. I think it's because Cinta cares more about the rebellion and I think Vel is not happy about it. I think this is showing a turn in Vel's character.
Nerdy and Clarus, you guys are so passionate about these shows, and your reactions throughout ANDOR here have been so smart, enthusiastic, and so much fun (I just binged the entire playlist since none of my friends watched ANDOR, darn it). I started watching your channel for TLOU reactions, now I'm watching everything else, and it's awesome.
Thank you for a really fun time well-spent. And I agree -- there are so many beautiful performances in ANDOR throughout. I would personally add Fiona Shaw to the list for supporting actress, since she was fantastic throughout and especially here! Marva could be argued as starting the rebellion right here int his episode. She changed the universe with one speech (even knowing she was near death). As far as what this season was about, I'd argue that it is the first domino -- the beginning of the rebellion, for real. Which is why the rebel pilots wear orange and white (like the Narkina prisoners), etc.
Cheers to both of you for the smart commentary, and keep up the great work.
I have a wishlist for season 2:
First, I want to see both of them have an aneurysm when they find out Andor’s been in the Imperial prism system for a month and they never knew
And second, I want Syril to try and have his bog “Space-Javert” moment where he has Andor cornered and gives this big dramatic speech only for Andor to be like “Who are you again?”
8:47 Why not have snipers with tranquilizer guns or guns set to stun?
This show is a perfect example of why you must keep your grenades better secured
That's going to be in the next Imperial safety briefing.
LOOOVED the Big Guy just kicking the shit out of the Imp.
Diego Luna and Skarsgard are killing it!
Been enjoying watching your guy's reactions! Quick question, how do you guys listen to the episode? Are you guys splitting a stereo source in each ear? Do you guys make sure a mono signal is being sent in each ear? Cheers!
It scares me that the writing might be too good for season 1 and season 2 it might start to fade. I hope not. This season is going to be real hard to top.
I thought about the protests in Iran during this episode.
Syril thought he was there to apprehend Cassian. And then probably hand him over to his former boss, until he saw Dedra, at which point he obviously would've handed Cassian over to her instead.
This video was sponsored, however due to new information we have edited off the sponsor spot.
Established Titles and Kamikoto Knives are both scams run out of a Chinese shell company that targets UA-camrs with fairly large and seemingly-legit promotion offers. No, you can not buy a plot of land in Scotland and become a lord/lady, and no, Kamikoto knives are not made in Japan using traditional knifemaking methods. They're made en-masse in a factory in Yanjiang. Worst of all they don't actually even plant the trees they promise in the Established Title pitch. Very disappointed you guys are shilling for this scam.
Fiona Shaw redeemed herself after her role in Harry Potter. 😀
aren't you in the Queens' Gambit?
Dog Whistling idiocy is a bold choice.

OK... a lot of times, I'll jump past the promotion in a vid, but this one was def worth sitting thru. XD
Onto the ep:
I was also confused by the whole, "Step away from the window," line, and also thought Vel might have killed Cinta.
You guys talked about Luthen looking at the fight from a distance. I really got the feeling the Luthen was seeing up close, for the first time, the thing he wanted. He WANTED people to be pushed so far that they would start rising up. But, he never had to witness the human cost of that strategy up close.
17:17 I got emotional at this part
Vel just wants to solo Cinta for a short while. She's mad in love with her.
She was phenomenal in both. You're supposed to hate her in Potter, and you appreciate her in this. She was great
Syrl went back to ferrix for the capn crunch
Anyone know where that t-shirt design is from?
The Amidala Initiative! They're raising money for Queer youths in Texas! www.bonfire.com/the-amidala-initiative/
So Cassian helped to build the thing that killed him
If you look Marva's holomessage, she doesn't say "Fight" the Empire. :D
Cassian’s getting radicalised by a podcast… I knew there was a reason I related to this character so much.
You missed the post-credits reveal of what they were actually building in the prison on Narkina 5. Spoilers: they were building parts for the original Death Star.
Real Bro's don't hug ... Real Bro's swap hats! 🤣
The fucking ad read got me so hard🤣. I’m still crying!! Can’t wait for the reaction!
How bout that Post-Credit scene?
