Touching story about the Hurst Olds. That was indeed a mitzvot, even for this lapsed Presbyterian.

@@carshowreporter My closest friend from college was a freshman when I was a senior. He referred to himself as a "M.O.T". Member of the Tribe. There was a freshman girl (also a Presbyterian...and still a friend) with blonde hair, blue eyes, who bore a strong resemblance to Tweetie Bird. We all met at the college radio station. Whenever Stuie saw Tweetie Bird and me together, he would exclaim, "Ah, it's Joe and Betty Goyim!". Great friend. I'd love to see him again.

I really like the 67 Delta 88, but I love the 67 Delta Custom 88 with the second set of taillights in the bumper. The second car was a Delta 88 Royale. I think that was Olds speak for Brougham. Lovely story about the Hurst Olds, what nice people.

Thanks for the details about the levels of trim and the corresponding taillights. Glad you enjoyed meeting the people and hearing the story, behind the car, Daniel.

GM squandered a storied marque and a consistent, top ten seller for decades. Such a shame!!!

@@carshowreporter No, nobody was buying them.
Besides, why does GM need four almost the same companies?
