There's a bunch of little stories in the Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West games, ones you only get in full if you read the notes and listen to all the audio recordings in an area. My personal favourite is the last girls on earth story, about the two girls in a band working in the underground dam.
Fun fact - the fictional band old gods of Asgard are actually Poets Of The Fall, they also did the ost late goodbye for Max Payne 2, you can hear the janitor sing it, could be the same janitor 😅
Surprised none of the Fallout games were on this list I feel Fallout is the king of hidden stories, all the terminal entries etc. Pethaps we'll see a 10 hidden stories from the Fallout franchise list soon😂.
What about when you in scan in the metroid prime series?Why the chozo left the planet in prime 2 or what happened on bryo in prime 3?There is lots of stuff you only find out if you scan.
My only problem with Bioshock's storytelling is that generally it would be a voiceover when you're in a firefight. little busy here guys! They are on my list to replay though....
I've heard Alan Wake and Max Payne were connected but I've only played the Max Payne games I've loved that series since it came out when I bought my first ps2 I bought GTA 3 and Max Payne with it but I've wanted to check out Alan Wake is it similar to Max Payne game wise
