I'm not new to production but I'm arill fairly new to Studio One. Why do you do a kick and the snare and everything separately when you can just play them all in one rather than having to copy a separate evebr fir each? That's what I've always done. Just wondering is there any benefit to that. And where is the next video that continues after this?
I like that you kept it simple. Even simpler would be if you used drum sets in Studio One. But the information you gave was usable for the absolute beginner. Other videos seem to be compelled to tell you many different functions that a real newbie doesn't need. Just want to get a loop done. Thanks.
An easier way to pencil in notes is to click in a certain number of them, then select all with a click and drag, then press “d”. This duplicates whatever is selected. For high hats, I would probably pencil in four and duplicate the rest. Much faster this way.
Thank you for the tutorial! Unfortunately I can't find impact in my instruments, so I didn't get too far. Attempting to install all option stuff now, but it looks like all the likely to solve the problem installs are already installed.
What if I wanted to make my own drum pattern as opposed to getting it from splice and putting it on the drum pad? When I try to make a drum pattern and record it, it comes out empty. I am new and would like to make beats from scratch. How can I do it using studio 0ne 5 artist?
Can you please help me? I downloaded studio one 5 and I am watching tutorials of it. I have seen that they have extra editors like impact and 4 others but I got only 1 editor(presence) so how can I get that??
very simple and digestible tutorial! This is exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks! Glad I could help

Thank you for sharing this video love it so much. I have been using Studio One Artist for a minute. I love how you put it all together.
Thank you!
I like the simplicity! good strait forward information.
Why drag the samples into the arranger? Drag it into a folder...highlight all the samples drag and hold shift or drag each sound individually.
I feel a little more educated! Props.

Bro i have the same problem where the heck is impact?
@@kamida8736 Its because we're using prime, you have to have at least artist to get impact
Hey download prime for free
@@peekaboo3968 it actually turned out that was my issue, I only have prime, and he's using some pro features
@@matthewthehuman1744 Studio One 5 Artist has the Impact instrument

Same problem with me
Hi , did you get this problem started I am currently having the same problem.
You can completely get rid of that latency by lowering sample rate in audio settings
my latency round trip 3.7 ms lol im dope
Thanks, I’ll try that next time. I tried every way to get rid of the latency but it’s coming from Screenflow 🤦🏾♂️
*FL Users here?* 👋
Cool
I cant see any 'impact' on presonus option
It's there Learn the software 💪
@@peekaboo3968 thanks man this really helps
Same
what to do if i dont have the impact?
what do you mean "hit command" 6:12
Command on the apple keyboard
Who can I add impact XT ?
Why are my pencil ins all being placed in the same spot? You left some detail out.
I think this would’ve been better with someone who is more familiar with Studio One.
thank you.
which version is it pro or prime?
Not really sure it was latency that caused your notes to be out of time?
Thanks
I'm impact disappeared 😢 Can u tell me how to get back, so I can produce a beat?? Please and thanks
I did it! 😅 Thanks again. Patience is the key in this 🥰
@@peekaboo3968 how did you get it ? I can't seem to find it
@@MichaelAMyers1957 yes how to do it and impact xt is for studio one professional version not for the free version (studio one 5)

i put all in impact for have total control, and open a pattern section its more easy.
Do you have to download it? Because only “Presence” is showing up not “Impact”
