Good video! Wish I had access to this information 50 years ago.. Sure like the idea of anchoring traps!! Use to use re-rod.. very heavy and could be pumped up... extending trap lengths with wire? Use to use chains and swivels.. Use of power Rams game changing! Thanks for the tips👍B Deacon

I drilled my birkshires for retrieval cable and so my main anchor has a small loop to attach to chain and a longer loop that goes through the same loop. It really works slick even on the long earth anchors.

The CAMO Cowboy Outdoors I started using them more for trap theft but not having to worry about something pumping out a rebar stake is worth it

Do u use the 15 inch ones in water trapping? I been using pogo anchors in the bottoms. Not in water yet. I made some up with 2 inch washers for water. I just ordered a wolf fang driver and 4 packs of wolf fangs anchors to try out from f&t.

I just went to pogo anchors. I have always used rebar. I have been putting 2 double ferals per end. Will 1 per end hold? I use 1.5 inch washers 15 inch 7x7 3/32 on land and 2 inch in mud. 18 inch 7x7 3/32..

The crimp is not suppose to be on the flat side. May work ok for coon, fox or bcat but would not trust for coyote. I made some retrieval cables and the flat side crimps would often fail when pulling. The ones crimped with a crimping tool did not.
