The cave was very interesting! 1) The steel gates made me remember the door installed on the cave Mark Twain wrote about in his novel. Either "Tom Sawyer", or "Huckleberry Finn". In the book, this had a tragic outcome. But it was real, and is now a tourist site. 2) More cheerful, one time a small group were exploring a cave, a crevice in limestone. It kept narrowing down. When it got less than the width of your shoulders, and you had to turn sideways, someone said, "What if the earth breathed, right now?" :--}>
Wow! Yeah honestly caves scare me haha! And I won't squeeze - nope nope nope. I was in a cavern (tour) one time that had this "passage" called The Womb. It seemed barely bigger than my head and the girl guiding us wormed her way down it into this chamber then turned around and squirmed back up. NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Doug, Looks like a decent hike. Not too much water sources along that route besides the rain. The caves look interesting, I have been meaning to check out the North Wilderness Trail up in Pinnacle some day. Thank you
Amazing and beautiful country thanks for sharing and stay safe my friend
Thanks, you too!
Awesome Doug! Pinnacles is a beautiful park. I will definitely be back.
It really is! And me too! (I'm ready for some off-trail exploring.) :)

Yes you definitely need to carry water in the park as the creeks are very seasonal and there is nothing up high. Maybe we can meet up!
Awesome. I went to Pinnacles a few years ago and loved it. I didn't know about this trail. Maybe I'll check it out from the west entrance sometime.
It's a solid trail!
Nice. How long is a the trip through the cave would you guess?
If you went fast you could get from the entrance to the exit in like 2 minutes, but I'd take my time and look around!
About how far was that hike?
12 miles or so.
