@Kevin Kushova When mullets came in the eighties Long with the mohawk, I thought they were the ugliest hair styles. They replaced the feathered hair styles of the late seventies and the dawn of the eighties. Probably why I favor the seventies hairstyles over the eighties.
Me watching this fully knowing I haven't gotten a haircut in two years and don't plan on getting one any time soon. I will say, back when I cared about my appearance I did rock a few of these.
Tips:
>Business cut- ask for a mid or low close fade and tapered from front to back and if you trust your barber, ask for a natural looking part which will make your part easier to find and cleaner. Brush the fringe back at a 45 instead of straight back.
> Long waves- a hair serum can give your hair that second day feel and will help protect your hair from the sun amd other conditions. A sea salt spray, that you can buy or make yourself at home, will give your hair a textured beachy look and will also give it a very slight hold.
> Pomp/Quiff- lots of tutorials on both but I like The Pomp, Robin James, and Bluuman for product recommendations as well as advice for what to tell your barber when you get it cut.
I’ve clipped mine down with no guard since 06. I have hair, but love the no maintenance shadow.

Hey Ashley, great video. I’m early 40s and have a hairstyle somewhere between side parting and pompadour, but it recent years I’ve started to lose hair crown the crown area. It still looks fine from the front but there’s now a gap towards the back. Any suggestions on what I do? Keep my current look and sweep it back more or just go for a buzz cut? Is there another way? Thanks
Use products that are 1) volumizing and 2) matte finish. For volume, use a sea salt spray as a pre styler (5-10 bucks prob but lasts a long while). Use it on wet hair and blow dry upward. Volumizing powders actually work well too (use on dry hair). Both good options.
Then, use a LIGHT amount of matte product like clay. Work into your hand until invisible and warm and just touch up. Tiny little hair spray after to lock it in. You’ll be good to go.

Take finasteride + oral minoxidil + do PRP treatment (if it's cheap there), you will get some hair back. I get most back after 20 months. =D

Idk if anyone will see this but I have a side part. The part is on the right side comed over in the left. Should I change sides or should I get a whole new cut or is it probably good as it is? What should I do?
The way you should style your hair depends on a lot of things, like how the natural hair flow is, your face/head proportions, how much hair recession you have and many other attributes. No one over the internet can give you a clear answer to that. I'd recommend you to go to a more professional/expensive hairdresser and ask them what they think would work well on your head. They are professionals, they see you live and they have done this countless times.

4:00 I don't know what algorithm you're using for the zoom in your video editor, but however it's scaling up the images is very very distracting. Look at the edge of the images and you'll see what I mean. You won't be able to unsee it after I've mentioned it. Play around with the settings and see if there's a different option for zooming to get rid of that effect.

Typo.....I'll be 62 in March. I'm not in me seventies till another eight years.
i have a very similar style to the guy at 7:13: hairstyle, beard, even face properties are almost the same and i have to tell you this is the combination that makes women hit on me at bars and clubs the most. by far.
in the past i tried short hair, quiff, beard/no beard before and it's not even getting close
I actually got my long hair looking like that but my damn facial hair is more like the guy at 6:36 cause of you know, genetics......still i think every long hair style portrayed looks nice and really can get you some girls if combined with a good attitude and style.

I created my own style. A mohawk that stops at my bald spot in the back....sides buzzed short, and very long hair in the back. I'd send you a picture, but you'll for sure fall in love with me, and you're a married woman. I'm a gentleman, and I have class.
