Received it yesterday,, started to set it up, everything seemed okay. Today, try to continue setting it up and BANG!, It seemed to stop working with an HTTP message. Checked out with our Internet and video providers, no problem. In desperation, found the problem, solved by taking the batteries out of the remote.
Pretty weird how that would happen
I purchased 2 of the Z10 Pro Max boxes, 1 for our living room and 1 for the bedroom to replace the Firestick 4K's we were using and I have to say that they're very nice boxes, except for the remote controls included with the Z10 and Z11. Our boxes came with 2 remotes (the standard remote you see in this video and an extra legacy remote). Both remotes on both boxes DO NOT work if not pointed directly at the boxes, DO NOT work for anything (i.e watching OTA T.V using an external outside antenna, if the boxes are turned off), & are definitely NOT user friendly in a poorly lit room. At times, it also requires pushing the button 2 or 3 times before the box responds, I believe this is due to the I.R technology.
I also found there was way too much button pushing to make your way through the MY TV app to use muscle memory for in the dark vs. Firestick all being on a lit screen. I wound up sending the bedroom box back and returning to the Firestick in that room. The remotes are my only complaint regarding these boxes, as it has very nice features and I would highly recommend Z Pro Max as long as it’s placed in a well lit room and you don’t mind having to point the remote directly at the box.
I try to leave this review as many places as possible to help others out with a real world experience, but found a certain site owned by a guy named Tr*y Po*nt who claims to give UNBIASED product reviews, actually gives VERY BIASED product reviews and deletes truthful real world ones! Be wary of his product reviews!
That was a mouthful lol. For a good back lit remote. Why not go with a back-lit keyboard remote

Hi, Z10 pro Max 4.2.2 codec is not opening streams. You showed the codecs in the video, I tried it with the vlc player even though it is a raw codec, but still the raw 4.2.2 codec plays faltering and faltering. Is there a solution for this? thanks.
Could be vlc, you try a different player to confirm?

There was a fps (flickering, frame skipping) problem on the Z10 pro Max boxes, they solved it with the beta update, but the original software update still hasn't come. The processor is a powerful box Z 10 pro Max, but it was below the expectation and can be handled with software by the Formuler team. We are waiting!

The only app that won't be in 4k is Netflix, you should be able to get anything else that's Android based related
Hi, when I set mine up it keeps cutting in and out and flickering. Everything is up to date and works on my TV that is not a smart tv, lol. Do you have any suggestions on how to get this to work on my smart Samsung tv?

No idea what you did. Click on default ir go back and undo what you did
Only issue I have is the box is not compatible with the mlb app and when I try to log in it just says log in failed and the mlb rep told me on the phone the box is not an approved device.
Interesting, didn't know mlb needed to approve boxes. I think they might only be Google certified. Have you tried the apk on the apk pure website?

I also said that it's not Netflix certified. So you can get the standard Netflix but you won't be able to get the 4k netflix
Great video. Have question on a Formuler Z Neo hope you can help me anyone. It's been working fine on live channels but when I watch a movie or series unexpectedly get a buzzing sound and the movie stops and kick it back to the main screen. So I have to reload the app. This could happen a few times while watching the movie or a series then it seems to settle. But it is annoying. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Depends on your laptop. Plug it into your hdmi port. Or get a USB to hdmi adapter and try

You'll need to ask your provider if they have codes to program it. Most of these remotes can depending on your tv

Plug in the cable in the ethereal port

I already do use the app and I'm a big fan of the formuler boxes as I only use them for iptv but at the price point they should at least provide the Bluetooth remote

@@SpangeBatta never bro. This device doesn't run 4k Netflix. It does run the mobile version. To get 4k Netflix, they need exclusive permission. Which very few devices has it. Firestick, nvidia, chromecast, tivo are the 4k ones just to name a few
