Could have not been better than this the 4 together, perfect, her style of song, they knew what they were doing, like they always do and producing hits!!
Barry kept tearing up in Celine's presence. If you want to learn a lot about them, their documentary how do you mend a broken heart gives a lot of info.
There is a video of them making this song with her. Barry and Mo actually had tears in their eyes. Mo said it was a dream for them to write a song with her in mind and to see it actually happen
There is a “making of” video where Barry gets quite teary during the rehearsal as it was also a dream come true for them to work with her. Watch it sometime.
Whenever I see Barry a tear comes to my eye. I have 2 brothers and I can’t comprehend losing either of them much less All of them. RIP Robin, Maurice, Andy. Barry you’re one of a kind
This is my all-time favourite BEE GEES song even though they aren't the lead singers . You should find the video where Celine is introduced to the song for the first time it has Barry tearing up it's that good . Now everytime I hear it I tear up and for a supposedly tough old cranky Aussie that's some admission .
There is also a UA-cam video of Celine and the Bee Gees in the studio when they first recorded it together. Barry got emotional had had a handkerchief It's a must see. You won't be sorry!
Hey, again I am loving your reactions....I want to blow your mind....react or at least give a listen to EVA CASSIDY..SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW....you love voices....Just wait
Thanks mate. Iv'e been a follower of the Bee Gees since they started appearing on Aussie TV as kids. It really hurts that two of them have left us. Very special talent.
Two out of the four are already "immortal" through their music, Maurice and Robin who both passed on. Eventually Celine and Barry will be as well. All of them icons.
Celine Dion's voice always blended so well with the Brothers Gibb, she sounded like she could be the female Bee Gee. A song you should delve into is Barbra Streisand's "Woman in Love", written by Barry & Robin Gibb.
This is so beautiful, Celine has a beautiful voice. When CBS honored the Bee Gees she dedicated this song to her late husband, her brother and the Bee Gees. Thanks
They often wrote songs for women, even in their Aussie-times, when they've been so, so young. Barry Gibb composed 'In The Morning' and in 1968, Esther & Abi Ofarim had a big hit with that song, was called 'Morning Of My Life' on their single.
Loved this song by Abi and Esther, but almost a little bit more the Bee Gees version, and most the fun version from them, where you can see their great talent as singers AND comedians!
This is so pretty and Celine is amazingly talented. I watched an Aretha Franklin tribute evening and she was the only artist that evening who did Aretha justice.
You should just look up how many songs Barry has written for other people that were hit songs! Pls react to Chain Reaction by Diana Ross at some point with Barry on harmonies.
Celine is a gorgeous lady with a superb voice. She's also a huge John Farnham fan. When she was coming to Australia she let it be known she wanted to sing with him. He came on stage and they sang You're the voice together. Two of the most amazing singers on the planet. Love all the Bee Gees music. Rip Maurice and Robin.❤
It's atreat to watch your reactions to a Bee Gees song. This is such a special one with Celine. You did a wonderful reaction to it. There is a video in UA-cam of the day they filmed the recording of the track with Celine Dion, and Barry and Maurice reached for tissues to wipe away their tears. They were so moved by Celine's singing. And another astory-- when Stephen Colbert asked Bono what song would he choose to listen to if he could only listen to one song. Bono names a Bee Gees song-- "Immortality." He said when he heard Barry sing it in Dublin after the last of his brothers had passed away, it almost brought him to his knees.
Great reaction thank you. Someone mentioned below the CBS Bee Gees tribute it was incredible. Celine’s performance and Keith Urban’s I think was the best. You can see how impressed Barry and his son who is sitting behind him was at Keith’s performance of to love somebody. If you get a chance, please watch it. ❤
So many duets with top artists and so many songs written by them for artists , they really were quite incredible, love that your doing this experience.
Well as I said before Celine was lucky enough to work with simply the best talent in the world as collaborators to give Celine good songs to sing because Celine doesn’t write her songs other writers do that for her The Bee Gees are certainly one of the best groups of all times and they write their own music so it was a perfect combination for them to record that song 😁👌great reaction by the way you know I saw live withney Houston once saw Mariah Carey 3 times Aretha Franklin once and Celine well it’s different for her we are from the city Montreal so i saw Celine 23 times live in my life I know absolutely everything about Céline Dion I’m very lucky 😁👍you’ve got a brand new subscriber in me now
There is a. live in Las Vegas which is amazing but I highly suggest the original where the BeeGees hear her sing and they too sing with her for the. first time. Barry has tears and a tissue and Maurice also has a tissue. If anyone wants to Google it...Immortality Celine Dion VEVO. Its 5:03 minutes.
You have quickly become my favorite reactor. I love your honest, sincere enthusiasm for whatever you are listening to, but especially the Bee Gees. We "old people" want you youngins to keep their music alive!! Please react to For Whom the Bell Tolls. Thank you.
She is a guest on their One Night Only concert in Vegas. They sing this song together. If you haven’t watched it, you would love it. I’ve watched it many times on UA-cam.
Another great reaction. One of the many things I love about the Bee Gees is how they "serve the song" with no ego. Whatever is right for the song is what happens, even if it's them singing backup. I wasn't necessarily a Celine fan, but she kinda won me over on this one. Great song done just right.
They wrote an album for Barbara Streisand also. There is one song Barry performs with her. It’s called Guilty. The album was so good. Thanks for reacting to Bee Gees. I love watching you explore their songs. I can tell you appreciate them like us older fans do. ❤️
Barry also collaborated with Barbara Streisand on her "Guilty Pleasures" album.....it was her follow up album after the 'Guilty " album. "Above the Law" is really good.
Wow. Goosebumps all over. Love your understated reactions.. the Barry Gibb of reactors. Just realised I've started searching first for Bee Gees reactions, then John Farnham, then Texas Love.. WTHeck is going on? Kerp up the great work. More BGs always.
I suggested this a few days ago after watching your Andy Gibb reaction. Haven't seen this particular one with Celine talking ..will watch now.🙂 Can't imagine anyone not liking it.
In the official video, there's a scene where the guys are walking down the hall, looking like ghosts. What I found creepy is that two out of three guys are dead. Ghosts.
Amazing talent on that stage indeed. I hadn't seen this video before...wow thanks so much Texas for a beautiful reaction. The official video of this is hauntingly beautiful too. She is actually singing to a ghost. Goose bumps all over.
Please react Bee Gees "Alone" official video. It was made in 96/97, late in their carreer, almost 40 years since they started. It's awesome. Kiss from Portugal. Ana
Since you are a Texas man I am going suggest Stevie Ray Vaughan. Life Without You. He wrote for a friend who was a mentor. At the Capitol theater in Passaic NJ. It's his best vocal, a great solo and a beautiful message. Then for sheer amazing guitar playing Texas Flood at the Mocambo. Just a new finder. I subscribed.
When Celine Dion toured Australia, she heard John Farnham's You're the Voice that you did a reaction to. At one of her concerts in Melbourne I think, John Farnham joins her on stage to sing You're the Voice. Since then, Celine sings that song in her concerts. The Bee Gee's have written many songs for other artist including Barbara Streisand where they wrote the song Guilty, which Barry Gibb sings with her. There are videos of both these concerts.
They also wrote for Kenny Rogers, Dion Warwick, the list goes on and on. When they were so criticized after the world was “tired of disco”, their talent as songwriters kept them busy. Barry has had back surgery and got totally unable to keep up the crazy touring life, but they took families and the whole group would travel for special appearances. Did you know that Barry created a new album with country stars after all his brothers were gone? It’s beautiful.
Celine was guest at the fantastic "One Night Only" concert. It's on UA-cam. Barry wrote many of his songs very quickly. I believe he met Robert Stigwood while sitting on the steps at Apple writing a song.
@Greg Self - It is a common misconception that Barry wrote everything. All three brothers wrote together but 90+% of songs written for themselves and others were written by Barry AND Robin. Of course when they were kids Barry did the writing because Robin and Maurice were over 3 years younger, a big gap at that age, but once the twins became teens, they were in there full force. Stigwood did not meet Barry sitting on steps writing a song. Stigwood received audition tapes they made in Australia before returning to the UK that were sent by their father Hugh (actually sent to Brian Epstein at NEMS, the Beatles manager) and he said "Give them to Robert, he's Australian". As a result Stigwood phoned them at home and asked for an audition. They didn't even think Stigwood was impressed and thought it had been a waste of time. He signed them the next day.
I really enjoy your reactions im.so glad I found your channel I want to say thank you for taking time out of your day to bring us these reactions and taking us back to the old days...
Beautiful! If you're looking for another good Celine Dion video, check out "It's all coming back to me now." It was written by Jim Steinman who wrote music for Meatloaf.
Don't think I have ever heard anyone refer to Celine's vocals as harmonica action. You made the same type of comment about Barry bringing the harmonica on a previous reaction. I believe you are referring to his beautiful vibrato. I would never have thought to compare it to a harmonica. This is not meant to be a negative comment, and I realize it may just be how you describe what you are hearing. It just caught me off guard and I wanted to mention it. I'm a new sub and am enjoying your reactions, especially the Bee Gees.
Awesome! You should react to to "The Making of Immortality." Very emotional for the Bee Gees to see their song come to life by Celine Dion.
I love how when they backup a singer, they let the singer’s voice come thru, and make the singer the focus.
please check out her, its all coming back to me now, Becaue you loved me, a new day has come
When you are so amazing that the BeeGees themselves are your back up singers! WOW! Beautiful!!!!!
Bono just said in an interview that this is now his favorite song - he said it’s a prayer
Could have not been better than this the 4 together, perfect, her style of song, they knew what they were doing, like they always do and producing hits!!
Barry kept tearing up in Celine's presence. If you want to learn a lot about them, their documentary how do you mend a broken heart gives a lot of info.

Love all of them!!!!!
The Bee Gees wrote this for her and sang backup. What generous and humble men!
Please react when celine Dion recording the song : the reason studio session. Crazy
To me the live version from "One Night Only" is the best version of this song... ❤❤❤❤
There is a “making of” video where Barry gets quite teary during the rehearsal as it was also a dream come true for them to work with her. Watch it sometime.
I will, thank you!
Whenever I see Barry a tear comes to my eye. I have 2 brothers and I can’t comprehend losing either of them much less All of them. RIP Robin, Maurice, Andy. Barry you’re one of a kind
those are real singers, beautiful

I would have loved there to have been more collaborations, between the brothers and Celine. This was magic.
Yes, it was!
Legends, she makes the hair on my arms stand up!!!!!!
The One Night Only concert is one of the greatest live performances I've ever heard and seen.
So many artist say, that the BeeGees songs just make sense. Really really listen to the words.
Hey, again I am loving your reactions....I want to blow your mind....react or at least give a listen to EVA CASSIDY..SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW....you love voices....Just wait

Great song great reaction thanks 🙏, Barry actually sings a solo version of immortality and it is absolutely amazing check it out!
This is so pretty and Celine is amazingly talented. I watched an Aretha Franklin tribute evening and she was the only artist that evening who did Aretha justice.
O my gosh! She’s an Angel in White!!! ❤️😇🙏
Just love this makes je cry every time
Best collaboration ever!!
They're all beyond amazing! Alone..by the Bee Gees is worth reacting to.
They wrote for so many artists and made such hits! Just perfect
You should just look up how many songs Barry has written for other people that were hit songs! Pls react to Chain Reaction by Diana Ross at some point with Barry on harmonies.
Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers - 'Islands in the Stream' ...
Diana Ross - 'Chain Reaction' ...
Barbra Streisand - 'Woman in Love' ...
Dionne Warwick - 'Heartbreaker' ...
Frankie Valli - 'Grease' ...
Yvonne Elliman - 'If I Can't Have You'

Fabulous!!
Ich denke das viele Menschen gar nicht wissen wie viele Songs die Bee Gees gesungen oder überhaupt geschrieben haben......Das sind sehr viele. ...

Beautiful. ☮️
Beautiful track - You have to checkout “GUILTY” with Barbra Streisand & Barry Gibb
Guilty & What Kind of Fool in their one-time TV appearance.
Well this one had me in tears, Celine is and always will be the best

You should watch the rehearsal. Barry was so emotional and they all had to dry their eyes.
Love Love Love THE SONG🔥🔥
Nice reaction man, how bout Barry & Barbara Streisand " what kind of fool" a classic 😉☺️
Yes, a must. An amazing experience
Love watching you react... 😍

They wrote this song to honor their younger brother that had passed... 💔😥
No, it wasn't written for Andy. That was Wish You Were Here.
Try Marcelito Pomoy😢singingThe Prayer😅
This is great and all, but just to let you know, it's not live.
Great, but it's the album version, not live.
