Hey, I've 2 questions: 1) Can I use my Samsung wireless earbuds instead of the Cardo speakers? 2) If I buy the duo version - can I talk to my passanger and listen to the music at the same time? (simultanously, music as a background to our conversation)
Love it. But why the hell "holder" is as thick as cardo unit itself. wtf is that. Why they wont jus make it slimmer, it sticks out of the helmet so much ;/.

Can anyone tell me, why there are two times „PT EDGE“ in the bluetooth list of my iphone? If i disconnect one, the cardo app shows that the edge is not connected. So it seems that it need both!?
It only allows me to choose a single bluetooth connection. Or phone or motorcycle. Therefore, I connect only to the motorcycle and cannot use the application. I hope they can fix it. I have bmw 850gs ang samsung s22 ultra. Best regards
I have friends that ride with Sena headsets and have friends that ride with Cardo headsets… So my question is could the Edge communicate between the two brands?
Hi Joost, Sena can connect to the Cardo the same way it connects to other Senas and Cardo will connect to Sena the same way it would connect to a mobile phone!
Thanks alot! You can still talk to all the other Cardo units if you upgrade to the Packtalk Edge! Only the G and Q units need to be on phone pairing mode before starting pairing.

I purchased Cardo Edge week ago. I am having massive issue with Bluetooth. here is a story: I am able to pair Cardo with my iphone11pro, no probs here. My phone is paired with BMW TFT too, all works fine. Then in order to use BMW nav wheel to use phone i have to pair Cardo with TFT as a riders helmet, Cardo has such a setting like pairing TFT, so it is definitely second bluetooth channel. Cardo pairs fine, phone works, i can play music etc etc, but... for some reason my phone is loosing bluetooth connection to Cardo and bluetooth connectivity looks like that: phoneTFTCardo, well I said as long as it work why not, however in such a connectivity model Cardo app on phone cannot see Cardo, so not possible to use it, and what is even worst, when i turn off engine and TFT and all TFT bluetooth is gone, i would expect cardo to connecto to phone automaticaly, well nothing like that is happening, more, you cannot even manually connect to Cardo from your phone, the only way is to forget device and pair from scratch, however when you do that, TFT is un-paired with Cardo and you have to repeat proces. anyone had similiar issue?
Interesting, I am having a Bluetooth issue as well. I have the GPS connected as a second device (GPS) and my iPhone 13 Pro as phone 1 on the Edge. If I playing music on my iPhone or the FM Radio, my connection to the GPS is lost and does not return unless I restart the GPS and the Bluetooth reconnects. The manual, page 28, "Using Parallel Audio Streaming" is of no help whatsoever. In fact the information on "page 28" is the same information from 4 years ago. So, the "foreground and "background" information in the manual is useless as there is no way to set each connected device accordingly and the Edge is obviously failing to work correctly with connected devices. If working correctly the volume should be reduced, not the device being disconnected.
@@bbbeats7770 i set tft on main bluetooth channel (bike pairing) and then my iPhone on secondary bluetooth channel, all connections are up, i can listen to the music even, but it is not possible to make any phone call. Cardo has broken bluetooth and does not want to work in triangle topology. Cardo is not able to pair tft or gps on secondary channel. No such a setting there so by default they use first channel.

Cardo Edge is a huge disappointment. Edge cannot join a DMC intercom group created with a Cardo Packtalk like Bold. The only way to connect with other Packtalk units is if the Edge user creates the group. The DMC2 is a total failure since many people still ride with Bold and other older units, if there is a Bold in the intercom group Edge will still use DMC1 to communicate. Cardo is marketing Edge as fully compatible with all DMC products. I would certainly not call this fully compatible, maybe semi compatible. Cardo support says this is the way it is supposed to work and does not seem to be bothered. Unless Cardo fixes this major problem I am selling my Edge and getting a used Bold instead.

Hi Floris, the Packtalk Edge is fully compatible with all DMC products. It also connect to all Cardo units using regular Bluetooth pairing.
