Sony Xperia 1 III more natural and more close to mirrorless or DSLR image caracters, than Iphone 13 Pro Max over processing by computational photography
Fact about the sony xperia 1 mark 3:The telephoto camera on the sony has true optical zoom from 3x till 4.4x.So that means that sony will have no quality loss in this zoom range.
I have seen some other youtuber compare both the phones, and it was surprisingly good for xperia with manual settings. YOu should also try once with manual settings.

But for enthusiasts, the Xperia got more potential.
then at the end with the night video, you said the xperia has a yellow tint, to which I agree. It does. Strange that it had a 'blue tint' then a 'yellow tint' while the other one was just right in each situation
You are in fact, correct. What we meant was that many people just stick to the Auto mode, and even when they use the zoom, they don't use it more than 2x unless that phone has optical zoom.
Are you even using the Photo Pro and Cinematic Pro apps on the Sony? My Xperia 1 II has 2x better video quality than these samples... You can't use the "Camera" app, cuz Sony added Pro apps to use the camera to the fullest.
Sony is focusing on professionals right now but it would be better to think about everyone 🤭 And about this video, like always great work team versus 😊🖤
I don't think they should do. I think they should do it even more. :D SInce no other Smartphone has those features. If you are a photographer and you are using a Sony Camera the Sony 1 Mark III or II are sooo good and fun to use. I love that the Sony has not that overprocessed look of iPhone, Samsung and so on. ;)
First of all, i like your reviews. Keep it up like that man! :) But i think nearly every Smartphone Review Channel get's it wrong with Sony. You should not compare the standard camera app with others. I have the 1 Mark II and my standard app pictures are way better than what this Mark III has produced btw. Maybe Software issues or smth else. The Photo Pro/Cinema Pro App is where it shines. You should compare that with others (eg. continuous eye AF for Humans ans Animals, Burst Shot Mode, etc.) Cheers Daniel
Hi Daniel! Really appreciate your comment. The issue is, we're trying to emulate how regular users will use these phones. Also, the problem is that when we're trying to take a portrait photo or a portrait selfie, we have to use the Basic mode as the phone doesn't allow these in the Auto mode. We understand it's a phone for professionals, but Auto mode + manual input for each photo would be impossible for people who are not knowledgable about photography. We hope you stick around our channel!
@@versus_com I get your point absolutely :) yes, there are some weird decisions/regulations in the software :D But maybe you can do a test with the Xperia 1 III where you show what it would be capable of with some time spent to settings. I would love to see if there is so much difference as is think it is. Also if it makes really a lot of difference using the Sony eye and object tracking compared to other solutions of brands like iPhone, Xiaomi, etc. Since i can't do such comparing at home ;) I'll surely stick around! @@yektahezer9870 For me, the Sony has the best camera on a Smartphone. But i guess that's only because i love that they are not doing so much computing on the pictures in the regular mode. Mostly i shoot with the pro Apps since i have there full control over all my settings and in my opinion it has then a similar look like one of my Sony Alpha Cameras. If you just want to point and shoot and get a nice "finished" picture better pick a Samsung, iPhone or brands like Vivo, Xiaomi etc.
I think people should stick to the things that they love instead of trying to compare, no matter how hard someone tries there is never a complete video where they compare two things accurately, for point and shoot camera in a phone I don't think you need to buy a smartphone that cost you a fortune, there are lots of smartphone out there that can perform a point and shoot camera system but pocket friendly price tag, but with a cost of iphone or Sony I think you should be able to have more controls in your camera not just a point and shoot, not everybody love the instagram ready photo taken from a smartphone which are usually unnatural and overprocesed images, which you can achieve using a 3rd party apps, there are lots of people who just loved the natural beauty or capture the true image of what they saw with their own eyes or even quickly capture a subject in a very brief moment in time with absolute clarity
I want to buy the xperia 1 mark iii. But I am concerned about the brightness, the low nit count, compared to other smartphones. Is that really to worry about? Thanks for your reply.
When u dnt get sponsored product from sony ur video would be like this i saw many videos. U didnt talk about red face , green hue , and unstablized video and paintings of iphone.🤓
The Xperia 1 III has a dedicated colour sensor for auto white balance so it should be the most accurate. I've captured lots of images and they all look so realistic. There's no oversaturation, no oversharpening and the white balance is one of the most accurate I've seen on a phone.
Nikon uses Sony sensors. and Sony is in the top 2 if not the top #1 and current Sony flagship cameras shoot 8.6K images at least 30fps without overheating unlike the competition.

No. Sony is very far off. It's like a joke compared to A7S in auto-mode. Don't compare this joke of an Xperia with big-boy DSLRs!
