To be honest, Godzilla got two solo movies, and was one of the main characters in Godzilla versus Kong. It’s nice to see Kong being the main character for once.

I Think It's Probably Beacuse Of The Lack Of Emotion That Godzilla Has, Like Don't Get Me Wrong, He Can Have Some Very Emotional Moments, But Still Nowhere Near As Much As You Can With Kong
@@reygamerz8041I think it more likely is a licensing issue. Toho probably charges WB a certain amount for the time Godzilla is on screen and that limits how much they can afford to use him.
Everybody says it isnt as deep as minus one, these monster movies are supposed to be entertaining and be crazy, the old ones were too with fictional monsters fighting it out like crazy. This movie for what it is did the job right

I just realized, Suko will no doubt look just like the Kong in the OG King Kong vs Godzilla. Mainly the longer arms and redish fur. But yeah, I wanna know when Kong will be officially dubbed KING Kong.

This is the type of big "turn your brain off" films that I like to watch. It reminds me of the original Transformers films.

My complaint of this film is how some of the titan fights were short I just wished it would’ve been longer but overall it’s a good film

I read that Adam Wingard wanted to give Kong a deeper story in this movie but depending on the success he will give Godzilla a deeper story for the next one. Writing does make sense here in terms of Godzilla's role, he wanted to get strong and for me it worked for sure
Godzilla should get more screentime in the movies or even A Godzilla movie where he fights Destroyah

I am a little sad as I didn't feel the same scale I felt in Godzilla vs Kong (for example the ship battle) and I liked Scaar King but just the climax fight was just somehow so fastpaced

Godzilla was literally a cat for the whole part of the movie, he slept and slept til' the end of rhe movie while lookin' hot pink in rome.
No way we’re analyzing monsters now like they’re actual characters. Jesus Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla 2014 was so far beyond what we have now.
Kinda just wish godzilla was a bit more focused on. Shimo is literally ice godzilla so they could have had a cool dynamic while fighting but idk, im in it for the lore and monster fights
Time for Kong to take the Monsterverse helm for a while. Spend more time in Hollow Earth and away from the boring surface world.

the scene where godzilla and kong clashed at scar king and shimo(I'm not sure if that's its name) was the most badass peak cinema I've seen

I’m just glad this movies screen time was mostly the monsters👍 This movie was just a blast with Kong, Suko, and Godzilla. I no some people wanted a darker monster verse movie but it’s good to have a dum fun movie ❤️
I, too, can say it was pretty good it was a movie series that i grew up with it. Kongs movies also good but the g-man he's what made me happy so what if he rarely appears before gxk we only had 2 kong movies and 3 godzilla movies plus i like how gxk has parts that have a little reminder of the first movie the main one when he broke out of the ice if you turn him around its like when he roared after beating the MUTOS a chefs kiss.
To be honest this is probaly the best or second best monsterverse movie.And i know that kong is supposed to be the main character but i need more godzilla content so yeah we need one solo kong movie and one solo godzilla movie then they can make a few spinoffs in between and then another godzilla x kong movie

I just have been loving the emotions of the titans in the last few movies, Gogi laughing Skar King laughing at Kongs tooth , kong laughing when he punches tf out of Skar king it’s just very entertaining in general!

Godzilla is already the literal "King of the Monsters". He felt like a side character in this movie because he already finished his main quest, everything he does after King of the Monsters is just side quest, while Kong is still figuring out his place in the world
Came back 2 hours ago from watching it and tbh I did get bored at times but when kong was using suko as a weapon just shows that they weren’t focused on being extremely serious with this movie

Yeah, i saw it today as well, it kinda feels like shimo and another titan (not going to name because of spoilers) were kinda nerfed, and i would have preferred more godzilla and a longer 3rd act. Amazing and entertaining movie for sure
Absolutely love this movie and I saw it for my birthday too after going to Islands Of Adventure at Universal Orlando. Kong and Godzilla also fr stood on business and were on some devious timing and I also love Suko. And I absolutely love the fights and how many were running the fade throughout this movie.
Also my favorite scene from this movie that made it a 10/10 for me without spoiling anything for anyone that hasn’t seen it yet is part of the sequence when Kong first met Suko. There’s legit one part of that sequence that had me, my best friend, and my theater dying. 🤣😂
Skar King was a menace. This guy had breeding slaves, had a whip which he used for slavery, and has the most egregious hairline in the universe.
These humans used to be my least favorite out of the whole monsterverse, but this movie made me like them WAY more than last movie. I also like how the ending set up the possibility of other kinds of monsterverse movies. Ones that can be more like Minus One, where humans are trying to survive while Godzilla is fighting the titans. And ones more like this one where Kong is brawling Titans in hollow earth
To be honest shimo wasn’t really a villain she was being controlled by scar king and at the end she finally got her revenge by killing scar king

It’s crazy how we started off with a Godzilla movie and now for some reason we’re moving to kong based trilogy
I absolutely loved this. Only thing I didn't really like, was we didn't get to see a true scale of how big the Kaiju were. Which I kept thinking the whole time "man, and these guys are 300 feet tall, that would be insane to watch from a humans point of view", which we didn't get a whole lot of. Other than that, freaking awesome movie

I saw the film today and my god I was so in to it it got me shocked multiple times with my mouth wide open and skar king felt so menacing it was so cool

Kong in the movie was feeling like Superman/Kratos

I was thinking about how this movie should have started... Like showing Earth 100,000 years ago. Right away we see Godzilla, Shimo and Mothra battling Ghidorah and Shimo does freeze him, it's a short fight. Then later the trio separate as they have done their duty but it's clear that Shimo is Godzilla's friend. As Shimo goes to his lair, the crazy apes attack her and Skar King shows up, managing to take part of a crystal from her and use it to command her. Then we see Godzilla and Mothra come by his lair and even call out to her and since she doesn't respond, they follow a trail of ice to where the apes are and then Godzilla and Mothra are ambushed by the ape army and a reluctant Shimo forceyd to attack his allies. Then Godzilla and Mothra trap them in the pit because they can't fight an army. Flash forward to today and the movie begins.
All the titan personalities were portrayed so well. Godzilla being ruthless af, killing a titan just to feed on her energy. Kong and the lil monkey. Scar's personality as well, god, the way he moved and posed, they gave him so muchcharacter after only a few seconds of screen time. Idc about the humans. They did titans so well and I hope this universe continues to give us movie after movie.

10/10 all day I just seen it today. The fights were amazing they didn't push the screen time with the humans and the monsters were on screen a lot
The monsterverse can be giving me the super fun glorious mega action battle movies while Toho can give me the emotional and moving good written impactful movies. Win win for me
These movies are the pinnacle of having a good time, and it’s just a plus that most of them are written pretty well
This really does have inspiration from showas monsterverse. They had a lot of wacky and crazy fight scenes

This movie didn't had the immersive feeling , we had from other films....but it was entertaining AF.
The story mostly revolved around Kong and Godzilla mostly was a side character (as a ally helping,duking it out)
Though its understandable as events were occuring inside hollow earth (mostly)😊

The movie was really good but one part I had a problem with was godzilla killing scylla and tiamat so easily even though they are both destroyer classed titans but overall great movie.
This the second best movie I’ve seen all year yet. I loved this movie this was a fun to watch. And I liked how it continues from Godzilla vs Kong with almost the same characters and new. I agree that this was mostly a Kong movie but hey, we finally got to watch a Godzilla and Kong movie after years.
I LOVE Godzilla movies! Have since I was a kid watching the Toho movies. I’ll sit through the boring “Human Story” and be ok w it. But my kids hate that stuff. This was the 1st Monster-verse movie where they didn’t complain AT ALL!!! They sat and were entertained the entire Movie!!!!

I saw it yesterday and I loved the fight scenes!
This movie was such a fun watch. More than half of it was huge animals boxing it up in the most wild ways possible which is what I want from a godzilla movie.

I’m very happy we got mothra back but I kinda was hoping she would get her own movie about her rebirth
Only gripe is that the Tiamat fight was too short. It looked very strong and a friend of mine described her for me, yet she was killed basically offscreen and was very disappointing.
The writing is definetely better than its prequel, let's agree on that but yeah the movie is an absolute W and it's more of a kong v skar movie. Shimo was pretty dang OP too
To me I don’t think Godzilla is sidelined I just think Kong has more personality and connection to humans via emotions, the audience can connect easier, Godzilla is used very well he is the muscle and spectacle of the film. Plus Godzilla actually has two movies of his own. I think Godzilla is just more of a force of nature and that’s why they either focus on the humans or focus on Kong, I can understand it
Bro gofzilla went from this massive clever threat to a feral dog in the movie. Bro saw Kong and got beat then tried again and after shimo was free from skar king dude just screamed at shimo like he is literally a big feral dog
Honestly this is the type of movie on which we can enjoy it while it's new. And then after some time we can trash talk about it or make memes.
I recommend it in 4DX

IMO the only things keeping didn’t like was they didn’t show shimo and Godzilla enough and it was a little to short
