Hi Andy. I think that the American aircraft persuing the Arado E-555 look like P-80 Shooting stars. The wing tanks and air intake positions look like that aircraft. Also it was the Americans newest jet aircraft at that time ( 1946). The only real 'Amerika' bomber that was built was the Messerschmit Me 264 , they built three only. Because they wer mainly built in France the French resistance constantly sabotaged them. One of there favourite tricks was to put cigarette stubs into oil pipes thus starving the engine of oil and causing fires. You can get a kit of that aircraft by Special Hobby if your interested. I hope that all helps. Good luck bud.
Hi Andy. Like the vid, and thanks for the name drop pal. I will watch the Henschel post with interest. I don,t know if you know but Airfix released the original Dornier 17 ( flying pencil ) at the same time. I remember it well because it had the same camoflage pattern as the Henschel. So you could have two aircraft of the Condor Legion. The all you will need is a Me 109 D and a Heiñkel 111. Look forward to seeing what you do. Good luck bud.
LOL, i have two different C/L Me109's on the way, trying to hold back on larger aircraft, basically i am out of space for boxed stuff, and have given little thought to what to do with built stuff, though i have a while before that becomes a problem.
Thanks Andy, really awesome looking kit, you've created an itch that needs scratching for this bird. In fact, I've always wanted to have a collection of the German jets along with their experimental designs. Ironically if they had spent more time building the jets that worked like the Me262 we might be speaking German . I can't imagine writing a comment in German. Cheers, Bob
Its a good looking thing Bob, I have a Horten on the way, though i think i am going to keep away from the rest of the Jets, ive just got too much to store now, i have i think enough to build my hut /play fort out of kit boxes, so i have completed another mission LOL. The Germans had way too many fantastical wonder weapons.
I'm also looking forward to build this beast at some point. At first I have to order one from Superhobby (Poland) 😁 The price of 21.79€ isn't that bad.
Hello there @WCKD and thanks for watching, i paid about £20 with free P&P so about the same. is a nice looking plane, looks relatively easy to put together which for me is a bonus LOL.
It's Amazing how the germans had all these aircraft, but only on paper,I don't think thay actually got this airborne, apart from the komet, and 206,but I believe the allys found a stelf type bomber in a hanger just outside Berlin.
A lot of people don't like Revell but I do ,looks nice . Gonna need a Brummie Pat Roach for your Indy dio. 12 days off ow come yoe ay going to Ayia Napa 🍸🍸?
Hello there @Paul-yh8km and thanks for watching, not exactly sure what P series means, this is the 2024 issue, you may have an earlier version? Originally released 1998
@@TheNoviceModeller Yes I bought the kit probably about 7 years ago. I think P-Series is a Revell marketing thing. I assume there will be other kits in the series.
Glad I've subscribed to your channel as I'm thoroughly enjoying every video you upload. ✌️
Thanks very much, good to get positive feedback, helps me know i'm kind of on the right track.
Very nice model, certainly a novel aircraft. I have added the Indiana Jones bomber to my keep eyes peeled list.
The one i have seen a vid on here is i think pretty rare; Blohm and Voss BV-38

I want you to build it. It's a great concept piece.
Hello psychodermix, I think i might give it a go at the end of my 12 off.

Reckon the Brits and Americans also had some pretty wild designs kicking about, the German ones are just more menacing and infamous perhaps?

Jimmy Nail;s mate! No holidays this year spent all my money on fantastic plastic LOL. I might give it a go on my off time.
@@TheNoviceModeller Yes he's the bald guy fighting Indy gets chopped up . Was in first three Indy films.
P-80’s. The US deployed a few to Europe before wars end, but they never saw combat.
Cheers Dennis, i never even noticed them until i sat down and turned the camera on LOL.
А...а...пошли обзоры...не останавливайтесь!!😂🎉
Конечно же
P-series???
I have that kit and the box doesn't have P-series on it.

I'm wondering whether the "P" stands for prototype?
@@TheNoviceModeller
The aircraft was only ever a simple drawing, it never even made it into technical drawings let alone being built as a prototype.
