I took a ferry from Paros to Athens a couple weeks ago and it was the most turbulent voyage I have ever taken. Thank god I took medicine but I was Still nauseous! People were quite scared. A glass shattered and spooked me. The μελτέμια were in full swing. The voyage from Athens to Paros was very peaceful though. Just check the forecast.
Also make sure you familiarize yourself with the European traffic signage. Very different than those in the USA for example

Θα πάω Ελλάδα την Νοέμβριο. There are some particular historical sites I really want to go to. They are in the Peloponnese. I could rent a car and travel myself, but admittedly I am nervous because I will be traveling solo and I have never been out of my home country before. Είμαι Αμερικανός.
There are some tours you can purchase that go a similar route I want to go, but they are usually $500+ a day. Do you think it's worth it, or should I try to go myself?

Hi! Driving from Athens to major archaeological sites in the Peloponnese should not be relatively easy, as you will be on the well maintained highways most of the time. :) Otherwise, there are some tours that are about 50 dollars per adult. Feel free to check trip advisor and compare prices, as 500 dollars per day is indeed way too expensive :)

@@helinikaThank you! Did you mean to say "relatively easy" because they're on well maintained highways instead of not?
