Always wanted to be Cabin Crew but living in Belfast, it’s very limited - main company being EasyJet. I feel that doing quick turn arounds defeats the purpose of the job, the whole point is seeing the world. I’ve been following your channel for a while now and im glad you are enjoying BA coming from EasyJet. 😊
Thanks for all the info Megan. I see easyjet are recruiting over 50s flight attendants 😅 I thought about applying for cabin crew in my mid 30s and felt too old to do it then. I've always loved flying and aircraft and I'm ex RAF. I've been nursing in the nhs for nearly 18 years working long nights. Like u say there are the cons. Going to all those different locations sounds amazing and imagine it would never be boring.
I have a question if thats okay im 20 and ive just applied for a cabin crew job in 3 places bristol london and Birmingham. I dont drive and will be relying on pulic transport do you think this will be okay for me? I have had an email back for a virtual interview
Hi! Of course! You can defo do the job using public transport but just be mindful that you will sometimes extremely early reports or really late finishes and you will also have standby blocks where you might be required to get into work within a specific and tight time frame!

Love your channel. Cabin crew are defo under appreciated and do a fantastic job or most crew anyway. You do come across the odd rude crew member on EasyJet. Jet lag is very tiring and your feet must be on fire after long haul. You need to find a mini travel foot massager to travel with. Either that or get a professional one if you’re not too ticklish.😂 I have never once heard anyone call cabin crew waitresses in the sky. That’s very disrespectful. When days are tough please remember your work is truly appreciated by the majority of passengers. Take care & safe travels.
Hi Meg just saw ur video it was so handy to know all this , could you pls give me some info about the training and in particular the wet drill as am not a swimmer but fancy to be cabin crew , what does the wet drill actually involve and do u have a life jacket all the time ur in water ? Really will appreciate it
@@kevinchohan1925 hi! The wet drill consists of swimming from one length of the pool to the other unaided, then you put the life jacket on, jump in and swim from one end to the other again and then you have to get into the life raft but it’s a team effort and nothing to worry about 🥰
