BD thanks so much for this video. I have been digging in absorbing so much knowledge. I just got a stock evo 8, and ended up going with ID1300s, an aem 340 pump and currently stock turbo. I went with the 1300s to have a bit of room over the 1000s / 1200s as Im going FP black over the winter. Plan to max the injectors for e85 but primarily run a 93 map as e85 is rare around here
I read many reviews on the forums and for a 93 and e85 the best injector I found was the ID1300X, combine that with a 450, S2 and a punchy fpgreen type turbo, that's my ideal set-up

Thanks for this, think I need to upgrade my return line, and add a pulse damper. I am running evo x built 2.2l stage 1 cams - 1650cc stainless Injectors. 525lph walbro, DW battery hard wire kit.aorund 500whp. The car hunts a lot and cuts out when i put my foot on the clutch all the time when driving around town. Hopefully the pulse damper and bigger return will help. Thanks mate 👍🏻

For a double pumper you said that you use a hobb switch. How about speedcircuit's secondary trigger kit that uses the no longer boost solenoid conector once a 3 port is installed.
Great content, Question.....do you see any advantages for running one big external pump like an aeromotive or magnaflow rather than 2 intanks for someone who's not gonna be replacing there oem gas tank to a fuel cell ?
Awesome content. I just picked up a radium hanger, Walbro 525, radium fuel line kit, radium rail with damper, radium afp regulator with gauge and fic 1650 injectors. Getting ready to turn it up more when I put in my kelford 214-b cams and kelford springs etc and arp head studs. Just gotta get my clutch pack for the sst still. Would you recommend the ssp 600, 700 or the jacks transmission 600 clutch pack. I can’t find many reviews on the jacks transmission ones and wondering if I would really need the ssp 700 or if the 600 would suffice.
i dont think i said i prefer one over the other. if i did i meant that the 1000 has been around longer so its particulars are well known. the 1050x are good as well but i would go with fic 1200 for the $$

That’s kind of good, but how would you manage the minimum pulse time with ( 1.7 msec) on evo X stock ecu? The larger the injector - the more rough idle will be. Correct me if I’m wrong
"you" can , but as someone who's going to do alot of cars and most of the cars will be driving by a laymen , we have to go with a sure thing. A single 450 can do 700 but at the edge. Same with 525
hello I have a lancer ralliart b411 block, with 400hp on wheels, but last week from parking I accelerated it to 7 k revolutions the car turned off and the whole system was on but the engine turned off and did not start I saw that white smoke came out pot the exhausts and a little by the engine! what could it be that my car won't start
Heyy bro, i have a walbro 255 on my EVO 6, im on my second walbro pump. For some reason its cavitating, theres no clogs, installed new filter, minimal rust. Im tryna find out why it's cavitating.
So I've got 2150s and a buschur double pumper setup being e tuned currently and absolutely no matter what open loop SD or what ever he tries we can not get the car to richen up on tip in .... it's built head block and big turbo oversized valves and mivec delete exh side .. any help would be appreciated 🙏

Hey I was wondering if you can help me out , so I recently bought an evo was goin to buy it as a shell and just have it as a project but the owner decides to throw in his new engine he blew his engine before so he bought a oem short block( it’s not stock) / he also got a tomei 2.3 stroker kit / PT6766 / Sheepy manifold / 2150 Fic ….etc ( everything is either new or brand new and there’s alot more just not tryna type ) anyways we just got to the fueling system it gots a radium double pumper with walbro 450s but I’m not trying to push a ridiculous amount of power I want around 500+ just so I can be somewhat street reliable but Ik with this setup It’s goin to need to be high hp so my question is cause I’m about to buy the relay kit for the pumps but would it be okay to have 450s and not even be at such high horsepower where I need them ? Or should I switch them out or just run 1 450? * I’m going to be making my own build on this car in the future so I want a 6266 or 6466 with a built 2.0 instead of 2.3 * Ik I typed a lot my bad but if you could respond I would appreciate it 🙏🏽
Y not just upgrade the stock wiring from the etacs to the pump and use the oem relays on the X. It's simple as just replacing the 14g stock wire with a 12 g wire..
Have a question for you my tuner have told me to get 1440cc for the turbo I’m running (gtx3576r) I was wanting to get bigger injectors because the 2150cc are close for the price and way more room for fuel but was told are on 91 octane to not get bigger injectors because on the octane it would be hard for the motor to run on low rpms what do you think I should do? Run the 1440cc 1650cc, 1200cc, or 2150cc? Also the motor isn’t sleeved built head and forged bottom end
In ur case , my opinion doesn't matter. U know what I would recommend. It's mentioned in the vid. In your case you should listen to the person tuning u. As that person will have to deal with ur fueling.
@@dannynfs2983 I have FIC 2150’s and the car definitely runs rough on 93 pump at low idle (especially when the car gets hot) .. Sometimes it’ll bog off of the line just driving in normal traffic. BUT …. When these injectors are out on Ethanol (what I intended to do when I pieced this build together) the car runs and idles like stock. These injectors are absolutely made to run Ethanol. Can they run pump? Yes .. Do they like it? Not really. It’s possible, but takes a little more work on the tuning side, to make them run smooth on pump gas.
Hello Alchemist please please take 1 minute of your time to answer my problem: My 2012 X MR has some jerking problems especially when WOT, lets say i floor the pedal and it feels like the car has no fuel for a split second then launches, it makes your body go to the windows first before to the seat if you know what i mean. I think my sst is fine, gears change fine, no slipping, super fast, no transfer case weird nose etc. Sometimes it will dont do it, but most of the time it does, when it doesnt and i wot is super fast. car drives super fine if you drive it normally and calm 🤣its just when flooring the pedal. Troubleshooting> Relays are fine engine compression test perfect, same on all 4 Changed spark plugs recently, ngk iridium this week changing the pump to the aem 320, after that illl see whats up, if it persist i was gonna change the injectors? in my country we have 98+ fuel notice> car has been driven 40k miles without swapping relays before, my first guess was the stock pump became faulty. any quick opinion? Thanks! everything else is stock except for my uicp wich is the ets, stock is ugly af

I run (2)255HP (pin pushed in to hold more pressure on both) walbro pumps in my evo 8 ,still stock ECU with a Stock return line.. both pumps are hardwired second pump kicks on with a hobe switch (kicks🦵on over 15psi).. also have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator with FIC 1650cc (best injector stainless steel internals unlike the FIC 2150)on E85. I don’t see a reason to upgrade the return line if the car is basically running on one pump, and when the car is full throttle, the engine is using most of the fuel .. I haven’t had a single issue with a stock return line making 900whp … you keep talking about upgrading the return line… You ever see inside of a stock rail and feed line.. I would be talking about upgrading the feed line before the return if anything, just speaking fax 📠 tried and true on my personal car I’ve owned and built it 9 years ago.

You bet your ass you can …You will be surprised I’ve been doing this since the 90s, my injector duty cycle is not happy but it can be done..The 1650cc FIC injectors actually cost more than a 2150 cc because they’re all stainless and can run any type of fuel… in my opinion doing it all these years. I think the best injector on the market is the FIC 1650 cc high Z’s all stainless internals…2150cc injectors are not …I set my adjustable, fuel pressure regulator to 53 psi at idle.. people going way too big on injectors, and only trying to make 600 horse 🐴 makes no sense

That's new so I'm sure it would work. But traditionally it's hobbswitch for OEM ECU.

They are tried and true , the scalings are spot on. But they are no longer made

There are tables for that
But u can do a single 525 rewired for above 600 too we use to do a single 450 rewired to hit 650-700

Sounds like at very least u blew a head gasket. I would drop oil and maybe pan and check everything, not to me mention a leak down test.

A single 450 is good for ,600-700 depending on injectors and lines.
I will build my Evo SST to 700 whp soon, but my knowledge is weak in the modification and I am afraid that it will tamper with me in the shops.

buy the relay and relay kit Amazon for hella relay. 12awg is good I think. 30amp fuse.

i know in the Staates so much people drive e85 on build engines, but is it possible to say some stuff about 93 ore 98 ? maybe a round 700 hp
The most I would do is 125 per cylinder on 93.
