I went to see this movie opening night with my brother, sister in law, niece and 3 nephews. My favorite part was Owen riding the dirt bike with the raptor pack following.
Indominus Rex is made up of Trex, Velociraptor, Rugops, Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Giganotosaurus, Therizinosaurus, Cuttlefish and Treefrog from the Jurassic World Lab and in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, Indoraptor is made of Velociraptor Blue and the Indominus Rex and in Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, Scorpius Rex is made of scorpionfish and maybe Porcupine? Now that you've watched this would you be interested in watching the Jurassic World Netflix series Camp Cretaceous? It's set during the events of Jurassic World & Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. It's a pretty good series & makes references to the past movies

just scrolled down to see if anyone else pointed this out yet before I did. Also the dinosaur on the dock in the next one is the same from the original as well (it will make sense when you see it)
Seeing this movie in theaters was the greatest experience I've ever had in a movie theater. It took 14 years for this movie to finally get made, after years of constant delays and whatnot. It was well worth the wait.
Not 100% sure if you or anyone really noticed, but that is legitimately the T-Rex from the 1993 park. In the final scene you see the dino standing over the park, and you can see the scars from the raptor attack in the first film ending.
I remember when this was coming out, Disney had just revived Star Wars with TFA, and I was ready to get let down by this film as well, and honestly, I think universal did a great job of bringing the series into the modern era while keeping the same feeling.
mmmm...no, this movie and the sequel are basically last jedi and rise of skywalker. utter travesties to the original movies (and in this case original book as well).
Mary Queen of Jump Scares continues to reign supreme. I'm glad you still rank the original as the greatest. Why? Because it has that scientific-wonder element and just a hint of plausibility that no amount of action or gee-whiz SFX can replace, though they sure gave it a shot. T-Rexes just don't cut it in Hollywood any more, despite being the most terrifying land predator that ever walked the earth. No, the fans need a super-hybrid. But I agree JW's more fun to watch than the JP sequels, even if Chris Pratt as an 'alpha-raptor' is laughable.
Why is that "laughable"? It shows how he has control over the Raptors--or rather has a bond with them--but also ties into the theme of nobody having control.
@@monsterhanna6691 Fair comment, but for me the concept simply doesn't wash. If we take the transition of archaic wolves into domestic dogs, for example, it took many generations of selective breeding, and nobody's still quite sure how we reached this point. Moreover, dogs are generally smothered with love and don't have to spend most of their waking lives muzzled and and caged except with special dispensation from the 'alpha'. Even more laughable is how they instictively connected with Indomitus: 'Howdy cuz. Nobody told us we were distantly related species. How about that?' Please note this is not a criticism of Chris Pratt's performance, who is well-cast and his well-scripted chemistry with Bryce Dallas Howard is a bright feature.
Omg this is my favorite movie 😆 Clair, Owen are my favorite characters, also Indominus Rex and the raptor squad (mainly Blue) are very unique in behavior
@@Movie_Media_Commenter You can't get nostalgia at 5 years old lmao. You probably watched the first Jurassic Park movie at most two years before this movie.
In case you don't know, the Indominus Rex has bullet-resistant skin. That's how she could just shake off shotgun fire, M134 mini gun bullets. Her skeletal frame could shake off the blast from an AT4 rocket launcher.
I would also highly recommend watching Camp Cretaceous on netflix. Also a really good piece of Jurassic Park / world media that takes place at the same time as this movie.
Fun fact, the kiss between Chris and Bryce wasn’t actually scripted which explains the expression on bryce’s face which is genuine but of course they kept it in.
This movie was insanely fun to watch in theaters. My favorite one is ‘The Lost World.’ The 2018 film IS the most recent one. The final film ‘Jurassic World: DOMINION’ will release next year.
Michael Giacchino really did a great job remastering the original theme and composing JW's new majestic theme. Fun fact, he also composed for Rogue One, MCU Spider-man movies, Planet of the apes, and many famous Disney movies as well. He's pretty underrated tho
The woman you recognized from 13 Going On 30 is Judy Greer. Everyone recognizes her for lots of things, but can't remember what. She wrote an autobiography called You Don't Know What You Know Me From (seriously). One of the best Hollywood bios I've ever read.

@@jeremyfrost2636 lucky for my kids, I've kept all my JP toys from 1993, including the Visitors Center, lol
@@amzngspdr62 Awesome!
I went to see this movie opening night with my brother, sister in law, niece and 3 nephews. My favorite part was Owen riding the dirt bike with the raptor pack following.
We did too but we had to leave the theater because our sister was scared
Indominus Rex is made up of Trex, Velociraptor, Rugops, Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Giganotosaurus, Therizinosaurus, Cuttlefish and Treefrog from the Jurassic World Lab and in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, Indoraptor is made of Velociraptor Blue and the Indominus Rex and in Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, Scorpius Rex is made of scorpionfish and maybe Porcupine? You know that The trex from 1993 is the same trex from 2015 and 2018
Rexy FTW!
Aunt: "Ok kids, remember the lawyers creed: Deny! Deny! Deny!"
I wish they had a statue of Genaro in the park now that you say that. Maybe right outside the toilets.
@@mandalore1089 I don't think he would've deserved that though. Hammond himself sure but Gennaro - nope.
Everyone in my theater cheered SO LOUD when Rexy showed up! She is the OG and we stan

@@nismo29 And?
@@Jamie_Jewel i can’t tell if you’re a middle age mom trying to be cool, or a 10 year old using your moms account from 2012.
@@nismo29 You're cringe lmao

Now that you've watched this would you be interested in watching the Jurassic World Netflix series Camp Cretaceous? It's set during the events of Jurassic World & Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. It's a pretty good series & makes references to the past movies
The margarita guy in this movie was just classic. Dinosaurs are attacking the people in the park and he is worried about the margaritas 🤣
Well if you were Jimmy Buffet you would be too
This whole movie could have been avoided if 1 damn person was smart enough to say "Hey we put a tracking chip in the Indo Rex! We should probably see what the tracking chip says before we send a team of people into the enclosure...." Still an enjoyable movie though.
I love how your cat is just chilling in the background while you are watching the movie
Mary: It's so dangerous to look
Me: Imagine watching this in 3D 😶
Or in a D-Box
Mary sees Chris Pratt…..and knows the movie is gonna be funny.
I see Mary…….and knows the reaction is gonna be awesome!
😎👍🏼
"Wow! That was unexpected!"
Hey, good for her for setting boundaries and good for him for at least kinda respecting them... lol
Fun fact. The T.Rex in this movie is the same one from Jurassic Park. :)
just scrolled down to see if anyone else pointed this out yet before I did. Also the dinosaur on the dock in the next one is the same from the original as well (it will make sense when you see it)
Still pretty spry for being 22 years later...
What's fun in that?
Your reactions to scary things are so f*king priceless😂😂😂😂
Seeing this movie in theaters was the greatest experience I've ever had in a movie theater. It took 14 years for this movie to finally get made, after years of constant delays and whatnot. It was well worth the wait.
Be prepared for the after credits scene for the next movie, Fallen Kingdom.
I love how in the ACU scene she had a half a second of hope when the guy came out with the shotgun, only for him to be eaten
no, the pteranodon wasn't playing it was just struggling to pick her up.
Imagine dying while knowing what you've just done will likely get a lot of people killed 13:11
Coming soon - "Jurassic Park XXIII: No, Really, This Time We've Got Everything Fixed".
Still ain’t going
That's what they all say.
@@scottb3034 Indeed.
@@scottb3034 also they're bringing original cast, I'm pretty sure they'll Star Wars it.
@@scottb3034 no
@@techno639 Oh yes. This trilogy is the Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker all over again. Completely disrespectful to the source material.
Judy Greer/Karen also played some various characters on "Two and a Half Men". At one point she was Walden's ex wife.
She was Scott Lang's ex in Ant-Man.
She was in Big Bang Theory too for an episode I think.
And she was also in the movie jawbreaker (1998)
Chess king: Fuk Off Will Yah!
Indominous was no Dino. That thing was a killer in a Dino body
Omg this is my favorite movie 😆 Clair, Owen are my favorite characters, also Indominus Rex and the raptor squad (mainly Blue) are very unique in behavior
Funny thing about Bryce and Jessica, Ron Howard Bryce's father has actually confused them too which is hilarious.
My favorite is the OG Jurassic Park, then Jurassic World, JW2 then the 2nd and 3rd are a tie
JP 2 under JW2 doesn’t sit right with me but I respect your ranking
@Your unfriendly Neighborhood Demon JP, JW, JP2, JW, JP3
The kid grey is the same actor who played harley the little kid in ironman 3
The first one is just definitely the best, but I love Jurassic World! It's also my second favorite movie, followed closely by The Lost World.
There was a second where I thought: “that cat’s gunna get eaten”. Then I realised it was your cat walking at the bottom of the screen.
I remember watching this film when I was 5 years old in the movie theather.... gave me so much nostalgia
You mean Jurassic Park? Because this movie came out not that long ago, only 6 years ago, in 2015.
@@jurajvivana I’m 11 years old now (IRL) but I was 5 when I saw Jurassic World
@@Movie_Media_Commenter Oh my gosh, you’re so young!!
Also a really good piece of Jurassic Park / world media that takes place at the same time as this movie.
the t-rex, the og jp badass. the reveal was awesome
What a nice outfit today ! Never seen this kind of camouflage yet !!
Fun fact: That kiss between Pratt and Howard was improvised. That's why she was so shocked when it happened.
There's no way that final fight scene should have worked without being super cheezy but somehow they pulled it off
3:43 “do you not hug” is basically what I hear from my relatives every single gathering.
Now you just need to watch Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Battle at Big Rock, and Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.
Fun fact, the kiss between Chris and Bryce wasn’t actually scripted which explains the expression on bryce’s face which is genuine but of course they kept it in.
This movie was insanely fun to watch in theaters.
My favorite one is ‘The Lost World.’
The 2018 film IS the most recent one.
I LOVE how many of his score titles are just puns, somehow it just makes them so much better
Also the TV shows Alias and Lost.
Mary we really appreciate your work, you're Awesome, 🇮🇳❤️ lots and love and support from India
I find it funny that the mom and sister in this movie are sisters in The Village as well
Dr Wu is the same scientist who told Dr Alan about the raptor that he was holding in the first Jurrasic Park
If memory serves, he is one of the few actors to appear in all the movies.
@@Caseytify he isn’t in jp2 or jp3
The woman you recognized from 13 Going On 30 is Judy Greer. Everyone recognizes her for lots of things, but can't remember what. She wrote an autobiography called You Don't Know What You Know Me From (seriously). One of the best Hollywood bios I've ever read.
Really appreciate the outfit she is wearing
My biggest flex is Chris Pratt went to my city to film jurassic world and called it beautiful!
