Ah thanks man, that seems to be the best day time shot with correct exposure. I think I was way way to worried about blowing highlights and underexposed most of them but I got a few more rolls to play with!
@@CLOCKCOUNTRY For sure slide is a risky one to play with, but you've definitely got a bit more space than you realise. Also funny that the meter was always the same, but it kind makes sense as the photos all seemed to be the same lighting. Still, it must feel like choosing all column C on a multiple choice... I know I'm right, but why are they all the same‽
Kudos on the shots, Andrew. I liked the night shots very much. You captured those passing trains so well and the reflection of the no walk sign on the sakura was my fave. The intro and outro were so cool again. Thanks for these 11 minutes of joy. Grtz from .Be
Dude again i have to say that i really love your stuff, especially the intros and inserts. Colors as well are pretty nice. Keep up the great work and you'll be having a lot more views very fast. And if you are in Leipzig, Germany for some reason, just write me. Would love giving you a helping hand.
Wake up to see the sunrise in Japan is hard but when you do it, this is the best feeling and capture it in picture make it greater! This year, I could enjoy a lot the sakura but I already missed them 😕
Yeah they come and go real fast. I'm actually working on a short film now and we are having to get up so so so early for the right light, its crazy how early the sun comes up here.
Slide is pretty challenging to meter for! I recently watched a video by Steve O'Nions that really helped me meter with slide film. If you have a spot meter you can average out the brightest part of the scene where you want detail with the darkest part. ND grad filters also help with reducing the dynamic range between the bright sky and the darker ground. It's that ridiculously narrow exposure latitude that scares me the most with slide. Nice video!
Great SHOTS!!!, Love the time how you select the scenes when photographing,.. Bravo!!!
Night shots ended up really nice though, especially that crosswalk one. Favourite for me though was the river shot at 5:17.

@@NorbiWhitney This.
Yeah I deff had no faith in the meter and my own ability at the time. But I'll shoot more and figure it out a little bit more!
Awesome as always, love to watch this now as the sakura has all but disappeared in my neighborhood...
Thanks man! Gone too soon!!!
Nice work as always!
Thank you!!!
I'm loving that you are touring around on a bike!! Velvia 50 and Ektachrome E100 are all that I really want to shoot! Long live Reversal Film

Thanks! Yeah I like the night shots as well, I think I'm gonna have another go with day shots in the GW690 soon! I deff need some more practice!
Got some nice images there Andrew! I have enjoyed shooting 6x6 myself a lot too recently
Great video 😊. Those night shots came out really good.
Thanks!
Love your productions! This is exactly what my bike looks like when I'm riding around lol Sad to see the sakura go so fast!
Thanks man! You too! It would be rad to get together someday! Also your sakura feed has been killing it, makes me wish I shot more!
@@CLOCKCOUNTRY Thanks bro, whenever I actually get to Tokyo we will have to link up! Try to get Phil out of the house for an hour too haha
@@ZoneFocused Yes!
I really like those night time shots. Now I wanna try it.
Do it!
Great effort to get those shots!
Thanks John! I'm a morning person, so I love that time of day... but as I said above it's getting crazy to try to catch the sunrise here.

Great info! Thanks! Yeah a ND gradient filter would be cool to try!
ua-cam.com/video/NqSvUfJKouE/v-deo.html is the one for me. Such gorgeous colours. This has got to be my favourite vid yet.
Take that stupid mask off! You’re literally outside in fresh air and sunlight.
